Digitalization in electronic system is required the capacitor which have a large capacitance with small size, low impedance at high frequency, and high reliability. The fabrication and its properties of aluminum solid electrolytic capacitor are investigated. Employing conduction polymer film such as, polypyrrole as solid electroylte, solid type aluminum electrolytic capacitors were made. The surface of insulationg oxide is covered with conducting polymer layer prepared by chemical oxidative polymerization. Thereafter this conducting layer is covered with conducting polymer prepared by electrochemical polymerization. The dielectric properties of these capacitors were also measured and discussed. Regarding on frequency characteristics of the trial made capacitor, impedance and ESR at high frequency is lower than those of the stacked type film capacitor. It is alo confirmed that temperature coefficient of capacitance and dissipation factor of the capacitor are lower than those of film capacitor and liquid type aluminum electrolytic capacitor.
In this study, we synthesized and characterized garnet-type Li7-xAlxLa3Zr2-(5/4)yNbyO12 (LALZN) solid electrolytes for all-solid-state battery applications. Our novel approach focused on enhancing ionic conductivity, which is crucial for battery efficiency. A systematic examination found that co-doping with Al and Nb significantly improved this conductivity. Al3+ and Nb5+ ions were incorporated at Li+ and Zr4+ sites, respectively. This doping resulted in LALZN electrolytes with optimized properties, most notably enhanced ionic conductivity. An optimized mixture with 0.25 mol each of Al and Nb dopants achieved a peak conductivity of 1.32 × 10-4 S cm-1. We fabricated symmetric cells using these electrolytes and observed excellent charge-discharge profiles and remarkable cycling longevity, demonstrating the potential for long-term application in battery systems. The garnet-type LALZN solid electrolytes, with their high ionic conductivity and stability, show great potential for enhancing the performance of all-solid-state batteries. This study not only advances the understanding of effective doping strategies but also underscores the practical applicability of the LALZN system in modern energy storage solutions.

Finally, as electrochemical applications of the mixed conducting perovskite type oxides to electrode materials for solid oxide fuel cell, fundamentals of theoretical ac-impedance model for porous mixed conducting electrodes were introduced. Furthermore, the ac-impedance behaviour of porous and dense mixed conducting electrodes prepared by various synthetic methods was discussed.
-Part I- As market needs become more various, the production of smaller quantities of a wider variety of products becomes increasingly important. In addition, in order to meet demands for more efficient production, long-term unmanned factory operation is prevailing at a remarkable pace. Within this context, laser machines are gaining increasing popularity for use in applications such as cutting and welding metallic and ceramic materials. FANUC supplies four models of $CO_2$ laser oscillators with laser power ranging from 1.5㎾ to 6㎾ on an OEM basis to machine tool builders. However, FANUC has been requested to produce laser oscillators that allow more compact and lower-cost laser machines to be built. To meet such demands, FANUC has developed six models of Slab type YAG laser oscillators with output power ranging from 150W to 2㎾. These oscillators are designed mainly fur cutting and welding sheet metals. The oscillator has an exceptionally superior laser beam quality compared to conventional YAG laser oscillators, thus providing significantly improved machining capability. In addition, the laser beam of the oscillator can be efficiently transmitted through quartz optical fibers, enabling laser machines to be simplified and made more compact. This paper introduces the features of FANUC’s developed Slab type YAG laser oscillators and their applications. - Part II - All-solid-state lasers employing laser diodes (LD) as a source of pumping solid-state laser feature high efficiency, compactness, and high reliability. Thus, they are expected to provide a new generation of processing tools in various fields, especially in automobile and aircraft industries where great hopes are being placed on laser welding technology for steel plates and aluminum materials for which a significant growth in demand is expected. Also, in power plants, it is hoped that reliability and safety will be improved by using the laser welding technology. As in the above, the advent of high-power all-solid-state lasers may not only bring a great technological innovation to existing industry, but also create new industry. This is the background for this project, which has set its sights on the development of high-power, all-solid-state lasers with an average output of over 10㎾, an oscillation efficiency of over 20%, and a laser head volume of below 0.05㎥. FANUC Ltd. is responsible for the research and development of slab type lasers, and TOSHIBA Corp. far rod type lasers. By pumping slab type Nd: YAG crystal and by using quasi-continuous wave (QCW) type LD stacks, FANUC has already obtained an average output power of 1.7㎾, an optical conversion efficiency of 42%, and an electro-optical conversion efficiency of 16%. These conversion efficiencies are the best results the world has ever seen in the field of high-power all-solid-state lasers. TOSHIBA Corp. has also obtained an output power of 1.2㎾, an optical conversion efficiency of 30%, and an electro-optical conversion efficiency of 12%, by pumping the rod type Nd: YAG crystal by continuous wave (CW) type LD stacks. The laser power achieved by TOSHIBA Corp. is also a new world record in the field of rod type all-solid-state lasers. This report provides details of the above results and some information on future development plans.
Purpose: Various studies have investigated 3-dimensional (3D)-printed implants using Ti6Al-4V powder; however, multi-root 3D-printed implants have not been fully investigated. The purpose of this study was to explore the stability of multirooted 3D-printed implants with lattice and solid structures. The secondary outcomes were comparisons between the 2 types of 3D-printed implants in micro-computed tomographic and histological analyses. Methods: Lattice- and solid-type 3D-printed implants for the left and right mandibular third premolars in beagle dogs were fabricated. Four implants in each group were placed immediately following tooth extraction. Implant stability measurement and periapical X-rays were performed every 2 weeks for 12 weeks. Peri-implant bone volume/tissue volume (BV/TV) and bone mineral density (BMD) were measured by micro-computed tomography. Bone-to-implant contact (BIC) and bone area fraction occupancy (BAFO) were measured in histomorphometric analyses. Results: All 4 lattice-type 3D-printed implants survived. Three solid-type 3D-printed implants were removed before the planned sacrifice date due to implant mobility. A slight, gradual increase in implant stability values from implant surgery to 4 weeks after surgery was observed in the lattice-type 3D-printed implants. The marginal bone change of the surviving solid-type 3D-printed implant was approximately 5 mm, whereas the value was approximately 2 mm in the lattice-type 3D-printed implants. BV/TV and BMD in the lattice type 3D-printed implants were similar to those in the surviving solid-type implant. However, BIC and BAFO were lower in the surviving solid-type 3D-printed implant than in the lattice-type 3D-printed implants. Conclusions: Within the limits of this preclinical study, 3D-printed implants of double-rooted teeth showed high primary stability. However, 3D-printed implants with interlocking structures such as lattices might provide high secondary stability and successful osseointegration.
In this paper, stress analyses using shell and solid elements on weld zone of railway bogie frame were performed. To calculate stress distribution on weld zone, a coupling model using shell and solid elements was suggested. For this purpose, we performed specimen analyses on T-type solid and shell model of T-type panels which were modeled using shell elements, solid elements and coupled elements, respectively. The result showed that the stress concentration at weld zone was occurred in solid model, but it didn't occur in shell model. And the stress distribution of coupled model was similar to that of solid model. Also, we applied the coupled modeling method on the analysis on weld zone of bogie frame. The stress distribution of coupled model showed much higher compared to that of shell only model. Therefore, the coupled model method is highly recommended for the stress analysis in weld zone of bogie frame.
The effect of various thermomechanical treatments on the structure and rheological behaviour of Al-6.2wt%Si alloy in its solidification range were investigated using a Searle type high temperature viscometer. During continuous cooling, the viscosity increases gradually with increasing fraction of solidified alloy, until a critical fraction of solidified alloy is reached above which the viscosity sharply increases. The viscosity of the slurry, at a given volume fraction wolid, decreased with increasing shear rate. The size and morphology of primary solid particles during stirring is influenced strongly by shear rates, cooling rates, volume fraction and stirring time of solid. Morphological changes during stirring as a function of solid volume fractions, shear rate and processing time were also reported. In this study, the size of primary solid particles in these alloys consistently increases and the it`s aspect ratio decrease with the increase in fraction solid and decrease in shear rate. Crystal morphology changes from rosette type to spheroid type with the increase in shear rate and solid fraction.
A solid-HDDR characteristics of the Nd-Fe-B-type alloys magnetic properties of the solid-HDDR treated materials have been investigated using three types of alloys; $Nd_{15}Fe_{77}B_8 (alloy A), Nd_{16}Fe_{75.9}B_8Zr_{0.1}(alloy B), and Nd_{12.6}Fe_{68.7}Co_{11.6}B_8Ga_{1.0}Zr_{0.1} $(alloy C). It has been found that the four-components alloy B and six-components alloy C have showed higher hydrogenation temperatures than the ternary alloy A. The alloys A and B appeared to absorb more hydrogen gas more rapidly as well compared to the alloy C. The disproportionation temperature of hydrogenated materials was exhibited no significant difference among the alloys. The thermal stability of the hydrided materials of the three types of alloys was found to become more stable in order of number of components. The disproportionation and the recombination kinetics were significantly sluggish in the solid-HDDR manner with respect to the conventional manner. Some degree of anisotropic nature was found to exist in the ingot and this anisotropic nature was retained even after the solid-HDDR treatment. It was suggested the solid-HDDR treatment may possibly be used for a preparation of an isotropic or anisotropic Nd-Fe-B-type cast magnets.
