  • Research on the solar thermal hybrid power generation technology which uses solar thermal chemical reaction has been carried out in KIER, The research covers development of solar concentration system and solar reactor for methane steam reforming reaction. This paper introduces a brief review and prospects of oversea's researches in similar areas and KIER's research progresses up to now.

태양광발전 단기예측모델 개발 (The Development of the Short-Term Predict Model for Solar Power Generation)

  • In this paper, Korea Institute of Energy Research, building integrated renewable energy monitoring system that utilizes solar power generation forecast data forecast model is proposed. Renewable energy integration of real-time monitoring system based on monitoring data were building a database and the database of the weather conditions and to study the correlation structure was tailoring. The weather forecast cloud cover data, generation data, and solar radiation data, a data mining and time series analysis using the method developed models to forecast solar power. The development of solar power in order to forecast model of weather forecast data it is important to secure. To this end, in three hours, including a three-day forecast today Meteorological data were used from the KMA(korea Meteorological Administration) site offers. In order to verify the accuracy of the predicted solar circle for each prediction and the actual environment can be applied to generation and were analyzed.

  • Solar photovoltaic power generation system is judging that by the most suitable new refreshing energy in real condition of our country forward continuously interest for solar photovoltaic power generation system and diffusion me enlarged. Output decline problem is item to consider necessarily and should be verified in continuous interest for solar photovoltaic power generation system are diffusion. Present plan that minimize output decline calculating module liver optimum interval that consider recitation of a poem to reduce output decline by module liver shade by incidence angle consideration and this that occupy most parts among factor because do output of solar photovoltaic power generation system well.

한국 산업용 건물지붕 적용 PV에 의한 발전량 및 CO2 분석연구 (A Study on Electric Capacity and CO2 by the Roof Top PV System of the Industrial Building in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide foundational data for expansion of solar generation in building application, a clean energy, by introducing applicability of solar power generation system on roofs of industrial buildings and computing expected amounts of power and carbon dioxides reduction. As methodologies of this study, after reviewing 120,000 domestic factories to verify the BIPV feasibility for industrial building sthrough theoretical considerations of solar generation system, we calculated BIPV application methods and subsequent expected power generation quantity and carbon dioxide reductions through roof type analysis. we analyzed four cases of expected power generation amounts of solar batteries according to application methods, and when considering that the main type of roofs are slant roofs according to the investigation result about roof forms of domestic industrial complexes, we believe that the module angle of a slant roof around $17^{\circ}$(case3) is most suitable for the application. Finally, we came up with 517,944[TOE] as the corresponding petroleum tonnage based on this computed expected power generation amount and the amount of 1,214,836[$tCO_2$] carbon dioxide reductions by calculating them by energy sources.

  • In this paper, a black box, which is provided the reliability and user safety of home battery energy storage system connected with solar energy generation, is developed. In the developed scheme, a status and diagnosis data of battery management system, power conditioning system, solar energy generation and grid is measured. This status and diagnosis data is stored and displayed in the developed black box. In addition, this status and diagnosis data is stored and displayed in a monitoring system and a smart phone of user. A performance evaluation of the developed black box is carried out using emulator of home battery energy storage system connected with solar energy generation. Consequently, the developed black box is proved its superiority of the reliability and user safety.

  • For the development of solar thermal power tower plant from the early 80' to today, various kinds of receiver have been tested and evaluated. Most of 1st generation receiver used water/steam as a working fluid to operate steam turbine and now the first commercial solar power tower PS-10 also makes saturated steam. However, to increase thermal efficiency of storage system and to obtain practical use of solar energy, molten salt system have been used from THEMIS project in France at 1984. The Solar Tres plant of 17 MWe power generation will be constructed in Spain and have plan to operate 24 hours in summer. The air volumetric receiver system can be integrated with combined cycle of gas turbine and HRSG and also with steam turbine easily. Therefore, related researches to develop higher efficient solar power tower plant and to operate with stable are widely performed in the world.

  • The developments of the solar and the wind power energy are neccessary since the future alternative energies that have no pollution and no limitation are restricted. Currently power generation system of existing problems, combined generation system of photovoltaic(400W) and wind power generation system(400W) was suggested. It combines wind power and solar energy to have the supporting effect from each other. However, weather condition, power compensation device that uses elastic energy of spiral spring to combined generation system was also added for the present study. In an experiment, when output of system gets lower than 12V(charging voltage), power was continuously supplied to load through the inverter by charging energy obtained from generating rotary energy of spiral spring operates in small scale generator.

  • 최근 태양광에너지는 실시간 태양의 위치를 추적하여 모듈경사각과 이루는 갓을 산정하여 일사량을 보정하는 부분에서 컴퓨팅과의 결합이 확대되고 있다. 태양광 발전은 태양의 위치에 따라 출력변동이 심하고 출력 예측이 어려워 효율적인 전력 생산을 위해서 신재생에너지를 전력계통에 안정적으로 연계할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실증단지 내 발전단지의 실시간 기상자료 예측값을 이용하여 최종적으로 태양광 발전량 예측값을 산정하는 태양광 발전을 위한 발전량 예측 모델을 분석한다. 태양광 발전량은 태양광 발전기별 모듈특성, 온도 등을 감안하여 보정계수를 입력하고 예측 지역의 위치 경사각을 분석하여 발전량 예측 계산 알고리즘을 통해 최종 발전량을 예측한다. 또한, 제안 모델에서는 실시간 기상청 관측자료와 실시간 중기 예측 자료를 입력 자료로 사용하여 단기 예측 모델을 수행한다.

  • 태양광 발전량은 날씨에 큰 영향을 받는다. 기상 예보를 사용할 수 있는 환경이라면, 기상 예보 정보를 사용하여 미래의 태양광 발전량을 단기예측 할 수 있다. 하지만, 섬이나 산과 같이 네트워크의 단절에 의해 기상예보 정보를 사용할 수 없는 제한된 환경에서는 기상예보를 사용한 태양광 발전량 예측 모델을 사용할 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 시스템 자체적으로 수집할 수 있는 정보만을 이용하여 태양광 발전량을 단기 예측할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 예측의 정확도를 높이기 위하여 이전 온도정보와 발전량 정보를 이용하여 단기 예측모델을 생성하였다. 실험을 통하여 실데이터에 제안한 예측 모델을 적용하여 유용한 결과를 보였다.

양면형 BIPV 시스템의 커튼월 적용에 따른 온도 및 발전특성 분석 (Analysis of Temperature and Power Generation Characteristics of Bifacial BIPV System Applied into Curtain Wall)

  • BIPV system not only produces electricity at building, but also acts as a material for building envelope. Thus, it can increase the economical efficiency of PV system by saving the cost for building materials. Bifacial solar cell can convert solar energy to electrical energy from both sides of the cell. In addition, it is designed as 3 busbar layout which is the same with ordinary mono-facial solar cells. Therefore, many of the module manufacturers can easily use the bifacial solar cells without changing their manufacturing equipments. Moreover, bifacial PV system has much potential in building application by utilizing glass-to-glass structure of PV module. However, the electrical generation of the bifacial PV module depends on the characteristics of the building surface which faces the module, as well as outdoor environment. Therefore, in order to apply the bifacial PV module to building envelope as BIPV system, its power generation characteristics are carefully evaluated. For this purpose this study focused on the electrical performance of the bifacial BIPV system through the comparative outdoor experiments. As a result, the power generation performance of the bifacial BIPV system was improved by up to 21% compared to that of the monofacial BIPV system. Therefore, it is claimed that the bifacial BIPV system can replace the conventional BIPV system to improve the PV power generation in buildings.
