  • This study aims to investigate relationships between benefit sought and selection attributes of green tea consumers. For data collection, a total of 595 copies of questionnaires were collected by convenience sampling in the Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 15.0. The factor analysis identified four dimensions of the benefit sought : health benefit, sensory, sociality, and self-esteem. Six dimensions of selection attributes were identified as manufacturing, design, sensory appeal, recommendation, utility and brand. The results of the canonical correlation analysis indicated that health benefit, sensory, sociality of benefit sought and manufacturing, design, sensory appeal, recommendation, utility, brand of selection attributes were highly correlated, and the self-esteem of benefit sought and recommendation of selection attribute were highly correlated. This means it is important to place an emphasis on safety production, package design, sensory characteristics, product description, utility and brand for consumers who seek health benefit, flavor and sociality. It is also important to place an emphasis on product description for consumers who pursue self-esteem benefits. Green tea marketers should consider benefit sought aspects as the most important factors affecting selection attributes on green tea purchasing.

  • This study conducted an exploratory factor analysis to examine how consumers' confidence on the local foods used at tasty farm eateries influence their purchase behaviors. The four factors of perception of local foods used at tasty farm eateries and the factors of consumer confidence and purchase behaviors were extracted for a reliability analysis, correlation analysis of variables, and simple and multiple regression analysis. The following are the findings: first, among the four factors of perception of local foods used at tasty farm eateries, safety, sociality and product value had statistically significant influences on consumer confidence, whereas regional economic value did not. In other words, safety referring to the nutritional value and sanitary safety of food ingredients used for the native foods at the tasty farm eateries, product value referring to the characteristics differentiated from general Korean cuisine, and sociality referring to the various related experiences for the interests in farm culture and local food, leads to consumer confidence, whereas regional economic value referring to farm household income, local job creation, and development of farm tourism does not. Second, consumer confidence had a statistically significant positive impact on consumers' purchase behaviors. Among the five principles of local foods, reliability is the most important factor. When consumers gain confidence on local food items and are satisfied with them, they make additional purchases and revisits. Therefore, confidence is a very important aspect for the loyalty and sustainability of business.

Methods: The data collection period was from March 1 to 30, 2023. Self-efficacy, pro-sociality, work preference, and continuity of educational service were investigated for 90 pre-service teachers at two universities in G Metropolitan City. For the analysis of the collected data, IBM SPSS/Win 26.0 was used, and descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were performed. RESULTS: As a result of the study, it was found that there was a difference in educational service continuity according to age and major (p<.05). As a result of examining the correlations among work preference, self-efficacy, pro-sociality, and educational service continuity, all four variables had positive correlations (p<.05). As a result of multiple regression analysis to find out which variables had an effect on the continuity of educational service, extrinsic motivation and pro-sociality showed significant results, and the explanatory power of the two variables to explain the continuity of educational service was 57.4%. • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teacher-child relationship as it is self-conceived by teachers in regards to children's peer-competence and self-regulation and to also examine how the teacher-child relationship affects peer-competence and self-regulation. 17 teachers were surveyed using the Student-Teacher Relationship Scale, Peer-Competence Scale and Self-Regulation Scale in regard to approximately 270 children (aged 4-5 years old). Our results indicated that the pro-sociality, sociality, and leadership qualities of child peer-competence correlated positively with the friendliness of teacher-child relationships but correlated negatively in cases of conflicts within the teacher-child relationship. The factors of self-appraisal, self-determination and behavior inhibition of child self-regulation were found to be positively related with the friendliness of teacher-child relation but related negatively with presence of the conflict within the teacher-child relationship. It was also found that sociable and self-determinative children tended to be on more friendly terms with teachers.
