The purpose of this study is as follows. First, we investigate empirically the effects of social network properties such as social network density and centrality of a franchisee on its information sharing with various subjects such as the franchisor and other franchisees in the franchise system. Second, we examine exploratively if tie strength between a franchisee and its franchisor plays a moderating role on the relationship between social network properties and information sharing. The study model was established as shown in

The natural language on social network platforms has a certain front-to-back dependency in structure, and the direct conversion of Chinese text into a vector makes the dimensionality very high, thereby resulting in the low accuracy of existing text classification methods. To this end, this study establishes a deep learning model that combines a big data ultra-deep convolutional neural network (UDCNN) and long short-term memory network (LSTM). The deep structure of UDCNN is used to extract the features of text vector classification. The LSTM stores historical information to extract the context dependency of long texts, and word embedding is introduced to convert the text into low-dimensional vectors. Experiments are conducted on the social network platforms Sogou corpus and the University HowNet Chinese corpus. The research results show that compared with CNN + rand, LSTM, and other models, the neural network deep learning hybrid model can effectively improve the accuracy of text classification.
Social network service(SNS), provided by social network sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Cyworld is rapidly growing in online business. Furthermore, many companies have growing interests in finding effective ways to use SNSs for their innovations, marketing and advertisement. In fact, firms have recognized the utility value of the SNS for their business. In this aspect, this study attempts to identify key factors influencing the intention to continuous use of SNSs. Based on the UTAUT(the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Usage of Technology)model, this study proposes the research model, including the effects of social network service characteristics(social relationship support, information sharing, image expression) and individual characteristics(self-disclosure, extroversion, familiarity) on performance expectancy as well as the moderating effect of perceived information security among UTAUT variables. The 412T sets of data collected in a survey were tested against the modeling using SEM using SmartPLS. Results indicated that social network service and individual characteristics had significant effect on performance expectancy with exception of self-disclosure. In addition, the moderating effect of perceived information security had significant effect. The results had important implications for firms providing SNSs hoping to develop a successful business model.

Degree distribution can provide basic information for structural characteristics and internal relationship in social network. It is a critical procedure for social network topology analysis. In this paper, based on the mean-field theory, we study a special type of social network with exponential distribution of time intervals. First of all, in order to improve the accuracy of analysis, we propose a spreading coefficient algorithm based on intimate relationship, which determines the number of the joined members through the intimacy among members. Then, simulation show that the degree distribution of follows the power-law distribution and has small-world characteristics. Finally, we compare the performance of our algorithm with the existing algorithms, and find that our algorithm improves the accuracy of degree distribution as well as reducing the time complexity significantly, which can complete 29.04% higher precision and 40.94% lower implementation time.

In recent years, Social Network Service, which is defined as a web-based service that allows an individual to construct a public or a semi-public profile within a bounded system, articulates a list of other users with whom they share connections, and traverses their list of connections. For example, Facebook and Twitter are the representative sites of Social Network Service, and these sites are the big issue in the world. A lot of people use Social Network Services to connect and maintain social relationship. Recently the users of Social Network Services have increased dramatically. Accordingly, many organizations become interested in Social Network Services as means of marketing, media, communication with their customers, and so on, because social network services can offer a variety of benefits to organizations such as companies and associations. In other words, organizations can use Social Network Services to respond rapidly to various user's behaviors because Social Network Services can make it possible to communicate between the users more easily and faster. And marketing cost of the Social Network Service is lower than that of existing tools such as broadcasts, news papers, and direct mails. In addition, Social network Services are growing in market place. So, the organizations such as companies and associations can acquire potential customers for the future. However, organizations uniformly communicate with users through Social Network Service without consideration of the characteristics of the networks although networks have different effects on information deliveries. For example, members' cohesion in an offline communication is higher than that in an online communication because the members of the offline communication are very close. that is, the network of the offline communication has a strong tie. Accordingly, information delivery is fast in the network of the offline communication. In this study, we compose two networks which have different characteristic of communication in Twitter. First network is constructed with data based on an offline communication such as friend, family, senior and junior in school. Second network is constructed with randomly selected data from users who want to associate with friends in online. Each network size is 250 people who divide with three groups. The first group is an ego which means a person in the center of the network. The second group is the ego's followers. The last group is composed of the ego's follower's followers. We compare the networks through social network analysis and follower's reaction analysis. We investigate density and centrality to analyze the characteristic of each network. And we analyze the follower's reactions such as replies and retweets to find differences of information delivery in each network. Our experiment results indicate that density and centrality of the offline communicationbased network are higher than those of the online-based network. Also the number of replies are larger than that of retweets in the offline communication-based network. On the other hand, the number of retweets are larger than that of replies in the online based network. We identified that the effect of information delivery in the offline communication-based network was different from those in the online communication-based network through experiments. So, you configure the appropriate network types considering the characteristics of the network if you want to use social network as an effective marketing tool.
In organizations, evaluating the competency of individuals through the position or status has many limitations. To overcome these limitations, this study analyzes the organization's informal network using social network analysis. We measured out-degree centrality and in-degree centrality by making use of social network analysis technique. Out-degree centrality is interpreted as 'madangbal' in that actors actively help other people, while in-degree centrality is interpreted as 'prestige' in that other people want to have a relationship with. This research examines the effects of individual's 'prestige' and 'madangbal' in the instrumental network and communication network on IT competency. We carried out empirical analysis using social network data that were collected from undergraduate students. The result reveals that relationship between IT competency and centrality in the instrumental network is statistically significant, while relationship between IT competency and centrality in the communication network does not show significant results.
The purpose of this study is to explore key factors that influence the intention of continuous use of social network service users in the online environment. Since the intention of continuous use is one of the most critical factors in the profit model of social network service, the findings of this study should be useful to the SNS firms. This study use the personal and network aspects as major behavior intention of that influence user's attachment to a social network service. The results are summarized as follows. First, use motivation in self-determination have effects on emotional attachment, information sharing intention, loyalty. The world's most leading social network services now, the social network service has developed very fast as a kind of new online service. During the past few years, the number of Twitter's registered users around the world has already exceeded 170 million. Not only have the United Sates, many countries around the world have also been hit by the wave of SNS, including those in Korea. Since the intention of continuous use is one of the most critical factors in the profit model of social network service, the findings of this study should be useful to the SNS firms. We need to continue the study of social network.

Recently, social network services are rapidly growing and it is estimated that this trend will continue in the future. Social network data can be published for various purposes such as statistical analysis and population studies. When data publication, however, it may disclose the personal privacy of some people, since it can be combined with external information. Therefore, a social network data holder has to remove the identifiers of persons and modify data which have the potential to disclose the privacy of the persons by combining it with external information. The utility of data is maximized when the modification of data is minimized. In this paper, we propose a privacy protection method for social network data that considers both structural and content information. Previous work did not consider content information in the social network or distorted too much structural information. We also verify the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method under various experimental conditions.

Recently, Social Network services(SNS) is gaining popularity as Facebook and Twitter. Popularity of SNS leads to active service and social data is to be increased. Thus, social search is remarkable that provide more meaningful information to users. but previous studies using social network structure, network distance is calculated using only familiarity. It is familiar as distance on network, has been demonstrated through several experiments. If taking advantage of social context data that users are using SNS to produce, then familiarity will be helpful to evaluate further. In this paper, reflect user's attention through comments and tags, Facebook context is determined using familiarity between friends in SNS. Facebook context is advantageous finding a friend who has a similar propensity users in context of profiles and interests. As a result, we provide a blog post that interest with a close friend. We also assist in the retrieval facilities using Near Field Communication(NFC) technology. By the experiment, we show the proposed soicial search method is more effective than only tag.

Many real networks exhibit overlapping community structures. Recent studies have been performed that analyze the impact of overlapping community structure on information propagation, but few of them concerned with individual behaviors. From this point of view, we propose a Markov process model to evaluate the performance of information propagation in social networks with overlapping community structures. In addition, many individual social behaviors are combined in the model. For example, individuals may exhibit selfish behaviors, such as individual and social selfishness, and people may discard the information after they have used it. The accuracy of the model is verified by simulation. Furthermore, the numerical results show that both overlapping community structure of the network and individual behaviors have a significant impact on the outbreak size and propagation speed of the information. Additionally, the overlapping community structure of the social network can reduce the impact of selfishness on information propagation.
