  • 네트워크를 통한 정보의 공유가 가속화되면서 정보시스템은 다양한 보안 위협에 노출되어 있으며 각종 보안 사고가 사회적 문제로 나타나고 있다. 이에 따라 시스템을 안전하게 보호하기 위하여 침입차단시스템, 침입탐지시스템, 가상사설망 등의 다양한 보안 시스템들이 운영되고 있다. 이러한 보안 시스템은 전문가적인 지식이 필요하며 일반 사용자가 운영하기가 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 공격에 대한 탐지가 아닌 운영체제상에서 공격에 대한 차단할 수 있는 보안 운영체제에 필요한 파일 접근제어 모듈을 설계 및 개발하였다. 본 논문에서 구현된 모듈은 윈도우 기반으로 하였으며 여러 사용자가 사용하는 윈도우 기반의 운영체제에서 파일에 대한 접근 제어를 함으로써 파일에 대한 무결성, 부인 방지를 할 수 있다.

Genetic testing in clinical pediatric practice

  • Completion of the human genome project has allowed a deeper understanding of molecular pathophysiology and has provided invaluable genomic information for the diagnosis of genetic disorders. Advent of new technologies has lead to an explosion in genetic testing. However, this overwhelming stream of genetic information often misleads physicians and patients into a misguided faith in the power of genetic testing. Moreover, genetic testing raises a number of ethical, legal, and social issues. Diagnostic genetic tests can be divided into three primary but overlapping categories: cytogenetic studies (including routine karyotyping, high-resolution karyotyping, and fluorescent in situ hybridization studies), biochemical tests, and DNA-based diagnostic tests. DNA-based testing has grown rapidly over the past decade and includes preandpostnatal testing for the diagnosis of genetic diseases, testing for carriers of genetic diseases, genetic testing for susceptibility to common non-genetic diseases, and screening for common genetic diseases in a particular population. Theoretically, once a gene's structure, function, and association with a disease are well established, the clinical application of genetic testing should be feasible. However, for routine applications in a clinical setting, such tests must satisfy a number of criteria. These criteria include an acceptable degree of clinical and analytical validity, support of a quality assurance program, possibility of modifying the course of the diagnosed disease with treatment, inclusion of pre-and postnatal genetic counseling, and determination of whether the proposed test satisfies cost-benefit criteria and should replace or complement traditional tests. In the near future, the application of genetic testing to common diseases is expected to expand and will likely be extended to include individual pharmacogenetic assessments.

Impact of Educational Service Information Distribution on Students' Satisfaction and Achievement Rate

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to discuss problems and propose the direction of the current international university placement program in the country by deriving the concept of and developing questionnaires for 'service satisfaction'. Research design, data, and methodology -The SERVQUAL scale was used to measure the quality of services. In this study reliability, empathy, and assurance are used to measure the quality of the international university placement system, considering the characteristics of the education environment. The survey data is based on responses from 280 students who either have completed the international university placement system and currently studying abroad, or are studying the domestic part of the program. Cronbach's Alpha value was calculated. To verify the hypothesis, the multiple regression analysis was conducted. Results - According to the study, the satisfaction rate of the domestic learning process is heavily relied on reliability and empathy; particularly empathy on the curriculum of the international placement program. The study also found that to make students to feel a high sense of achievement, the satisfaction rate is a priority which should be improved. Conclusions - The results from the analysis of the hypothesis shows that the satisfaction rate of students who are taking the domestic part of the international university placement program should be increased.

  • 스마트 그리드는 전력망에 정보통신 기술을 이용하여 에너지 이용 효율을 극대화 하는 것으로 고가용성을 요구한다. 최근 DDos공격 등 서비스중단을 통한 사회적 혼란을 야기하는 공격이 증가되고 있어 가용성에 대한 체계적인 관리가 요구된다. 한국형 스마트 그리드의 정보보호 관리체계 평가에 대해 본 논문은 가용성을 중심으로 하는 국제표준을 비교하여 새로운 평가항목을 제시하여 기존 정보보호 관리체계가 갖는 가용성 평가의 한계를 극복한다.

The Impact of Employee Engagement on Employee Performance: A Case Study of Multinational Corporations in Thailand

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between employee engagement and individual performance outcomes (including growth, achievement, contribution, and customer satisfaction) in large firms in Thailand, which is rapidly growing as an international business hub. The study took place in Thai offices of multinational corporations, whose performance is both very important for Thailand's overall economy and for the firm's continued presence in Thailand. The study was conducted using a survey methodology. A convenience sample of employees of multinational corporations (n = 423) completed a survey on employee engagement and individual performance outcomes. The data were analyzed using linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant, positive relationship between employee engagement and all four performance outcomes that were targeted. The strongest effect was observed for achievement (β = 0.899), followed by growth (β = 0.887), contribution (β = 0.872), and customer satisfaction (β = .867). These findings indicate that employee engagement is a significant and strong factor that determines the individual performance of employees of multinational corporations. This implies that companies do need to consider how to promote employee engagement. There were some limitations, especially social response bias and the self-reported nature of performance, that limit these findings.

A Study on the Determinants of Medical Institution's Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty: Focused on the Effects of Service Quality Factors

  • Objective: The objective of this study is to provide medical institutions with theoretical basis by analyzing the effect of service quality-related factors. It will be helpful for hospitals to enhance service quality which will be of use to attain customer satisfaction and ultimately competitive advantage. Design: An empirical study. Methods: To verify the model, I conducted a questionnaire survey analysis. Items for measurement have been extracted from several related studies on medical industry. The survey target has been set by convenience sampling method and consists of citizens reside in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province, and total number of 161 samples have been analyzed. To verify validity and reliability, I conducted factor analysis and reliability analysis, and for hypotheses verification, multiple regression analyses have been performed. Results: This study aims to investigate the relation between service quality factors and customer satisfaction, and also those factors and customer loyalty. Service quality factors consist of Tangibles(X1), Reliability(X2), Assurance(X3), Responsiveness(X4), and Empathy(X5). According to the results of regression analyses, X1, X2, X3, and X5 have been proved to have positive relations with customer satisfaction and loyalty, whereas hypothesis related X4 has not been supported. Finally, customer satisfaction has been founded to affects positively to customer loyalty. Conclusions: Service quality factors are significantly related to customer satisfaction and loyalty. So medical institutions should aware of this and try to enhance service quality for attaining competitive advantage.

스쿠버다이빙 리조트의 서비스 품질이 고객만족 및 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향: 위험지각속성의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Scuba Diving Resort Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Revisit Intention: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Perceived Risk Attributes)

  • Purpose: This study investigates the effects of scuba diving resort service quality on customer satisfaction and revisit intention, considering the moderating effects of perceived risk by scuba divers such as individual, social, and physical risks. Methods: This study surveyed scuba divers using scuba diving resorts in South Korea. The data were analyzed using multi-regression and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The results of this study are as follows; all five service quality dimensions (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) significantly affected customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction also affected revisit intention. However, no moderating effect by perceived risk were observed between customer satisfaction and revisit intention. The cause of these results is believed to be the nature of scuba diving as a adventure sport. Conclusion: These results implies that scuba divers' purchase action can be different from the general service users from the perspective of perceived risk. Considering the uniqueness of adventure sports of scuba diving, the managers of scuba diving resorts need to act actively paying attention to all dimensions of service quality, and customer satisfaction.

병원의 표준 혈액재고량 산출식 개발 (Development of the Standard Blood Inventory Level Decision Rule in Hospitals)

  • Two major issues of the blood bank management are quality assurance and inventory control. Recently, in Korea blood donation has gained popularity increasingly to allow considerable improvement of the quality assurance with respect to blood collection, transportation, storage, component preparation skills and hematological tests. Nevertheless the inventory control, the other issue of blood bank management, has been neglected so far. For the supply of blood by donation barely meets the demand, the blood bank policy on the inventory control has been 'the more the better.' The shortage itself by no means unnecessitate inventory control. In fact, in spite of shortage, no small amount of blood is outdated. The efficient blood inventory control makes it possible to economize the blood usage in the practice of state-of-the-art medical care. For the efficient blood inventory control in Korean hospitals, this tudy is to develop formulae forecasting the standard blood inventory level and suggest a set of policies improving the blood inventory control. For this study informations of $A^+$ whole bloods and packed cells inventory control were collected from a University Hospital and the Central Blood Bank of the Korean Red Cross. Using this informations, 1,461 daily blood inventory records were formulated.48 varieties of blood inventory control environment were identified on the basis of selected combinations of 4 inventory control variables-crossmatch, transfusion, inhospital donation and age of bloods from external supply. In order to decide the optimal blood inventory level for each environment, simulation models were designed to calculate the measures of performance of each environment. After the decision of 48 optimal blood inventory levels, stepwise multiple regression analysis was started where the independent variables were 4 inventory control variables and the dependent variable was optimal inventory level of each environment. Finally the standard blood inventory level decision rule was developed using the backward elimination procedure to select the best regression equation. And the effective alternatives of the issuing policy and crossmatch release period were suggested according to the measures of performance under the condition of the standard blood inventory level. The results of this study' were as follows ; 1. The formulae to calculate the standard blood inventory level($S^*$)was $S^*=2.8617X(d)^{0.9342}$ where d is the mean daily crossmatch(demand) for a blood type. 2. The measures of performace - outdate rate, average period of storage, mean age of transfused bloods, and mean daily available inventory level - were improved after maintenance of the standard inventory level in comparison with the present system. 3. Issuing policy of First In-First Out(FIFO) decreased the outdate rate, while Last In-First Out(LIFO) decreased the mean age of transfused bloods. The decrease of the crossmatch release period reduced the outdate rate and the mean age of transfused bloods.

전문가 제품 후기가 소비자 제품 평가에 미치는 영향: 텍스트마이닝 분석을 중심으로 (The Effect of Expert Reviews on Consumer Product Evaluations: A Text Mining Approach)

  • 최근 정보기술의 발달로 인해 소비자들은 온라인상에서 많은 정보를 쉽고 빠르게 획득할 수 있다. 소비자가 제품 구매시에는 소비자들이나 전문가들이 작성한 제품 후기 정보를 주로 탐색한다. 기존의 연구들이 소비자들이 창출한 제품 후기 중심으로 주로 진행되어 왔기 때문에, 전문가 제품 후기의 영향력에 대해서는 상대적으로 소수의 연구들만 존재하고 있다. 본 연구는 전문가가 생성하는 제품 후기에 초점을 맞추어, 방대한 실제 비정형데이터인 전문가의 후기를 어떻게 언어학적인 차원과 심리학적인 차원으로 나눌 수 있는지의 방법론을 제안하며, 실제 전문가 제품 후기를 사용하여 의미 있는 다섯 가지 차원의 새로운 변수들을 도출하였다. 그 결과 소비자들이 전문가 후기에서 반응하고 있는 언어적 특성은 제품에 대한 깊이 있는 정보의 양이나 충분한 설명을 나타내는 변수인 Review Depth, 그리고 전문가가 기술하는 방식이 제품에 대한 확신이 없는 듯한 말투를 나타내는 변수인 Lack of Assurance는 소비자의 전반적인 제품평가에 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, 제품에 대한 칭찬이나 긍정적인 면을 서술하는 방식인 Positive Polarity가 소비자의 제품 평가에 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 전문가가 하는 제품에 대한 비관적인 평가인 Negative Polarity는 소비자들의 평가와 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었다는 점이다. 전문가가 스토리텔링 관점에서 자주 사용하는 Social Orientation 특성은 유의한 관계를 미치지 못함이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 새로운 방법론을 제안하고 이를 실제로 활용한 결과를 보여준다는 차원에서 이론적이고 실무적인 공헌을 가진다.

사회연결망분석을 통한 군수품 산업의 지역별 클러스터 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the regional cluster of munition industry by Social Network Analysis)

  • 한국의 군수품 산업은 국내 민간 산업직접지의 전략적인 육성 정책에 맞추어, 그 개발과 생산이 특정지역에 편중되는 경향이 있다. 하지만, 최저가 입찰제, 물류의 발달 등으로 인하여 산업직접지의 거점 클러스터와 중소 클러스터의 연관성이 낮아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 군수품의 납품에 필수적인 공인 시험성적서 관련 정보를 군수품 품질정보 시스템을 통해 수집하고, 이에 대한 사회연결망분석을 실시하였다. 사회연결망분석은 국방품질보증기관, 시험기관, 계약 및 협력업체의 관계를 UCINET의 Two-Mode Network를 통해 분석하였으며, 데이터 간 관계의 단방향성으로 인하여 근접 및 매개 중심성 등은 계산되지 않았다. 중위 기술 산업인 무기체계 분야에서는 서울지역의 시험분석 인프라에 대한 의존도가 높아 지역 산업 클러스터의 특수성능시험과 같은 시험분석 인프라 강화가 필요한 것으로 분석되었으며, 이에 대한 정부 주도의 정책적인 지원이 필요한 것으로 판단되었다. 또한, 저위 기술사업인 전력지원체계 분야에서는 상대적으로 지역적인 시험분석 인프라를 효율적으로 활용하고 있는 것으로 분석되었고, 계약 낙찰과 관련한 전략적 사유로, 지역과 관계없이 컨소시엄을 구축하고, 계약 협력업체 지위를 전략적으로 바꾸는 등 중소 클러스터의 지역적 경계를 극복하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 연구결과, 군수품 산업에서 거점 클러스터와 중소 클러스터의 공간적인 불일치성이 일부 확인되었으며, 이에 대한 정책적인 제언이 필요한 것으로 판단되었다.
