Smart machines are one of the topics of our society recently. A smart machine should have a wiser or smarter function than the past. In the modern society, the environment of each family is being improved toward the direction of smart home. In this environment, smart speakers are now increasingly serving as interfaces for controlling various devices in the home, from devices that listen to conventional music. In this paper, we review the technology development trends of domestic and foreign smart speaker market, and describe the core technologies required. In Korea, while SKT and KT are dominant in the speaker market, major IT companies such as Amazon, Google and Apple are focusing on launching related products and technology development.

This paper explores the causal relationship between acceptance attitudes and expected effects of smart work. With the rapid development of smart technologies, lots of organizations try to innovate in the conventional working styles for maximizing organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Although many organizations wish to foster smart working environment, they don't have confidence in detailed action plans and effects from it. Therefore, this study that explores the causal relationship between acceptance attitudes and effects may have crucial meaning to organizations pursuing smart work. In this research empirically conducted by questionnaire survey, the acceptance attitudes as predictors and the expected effects of smart work as influenced variables were used. This research analyzed 118 collected data and multiple regression analysis. As a result of analysis, teleworking shows the positive relations to all of dependent variables. And others have a positive or negative influence on effects of smart work. Results of this study may give implications to organizations that want to implement smart work environment.
Korean prior studies on smart clothing seeking complete mixture of clothing and computer with diverse functions in the ubiquitous environment were so mere, while there have been aggressive activities to develop diverse smart clothing products led by the relevant industries and universities in foreign countries. Given prospective growth of the smart clothing market, there should be customers' evaluation of functions and utility of and sensitivity to smart clothing as well. This study conducted a questionnaire to Korean customers in their twenties regarding their perception and liking of and willingness to use smart clothing, and examined the needs of new functions of smart clothing. As a result, the customers in their twenties turned out to like well-designed and comfortable clothing, and be exposed to diverse and continuous computing environment. Also, they have relatively low perception but considerably high liking of smart clothing, indicating their high willingness to use smart clothing products. They cited 'selectable functions' and 'mobile and convenient ' as merits, and 'too expensive' and 'easy to wash' as demerits of smart clothing. In the respect, they proposed many interesting smart clothing ideas, such as 'clothing with automatic temperature-sensing function, which gets higher heat- insulating function by tightening the textile structure in winter and higher ventilating function by loosening the textile structure in summer.' We hope the results of this study will serve basic data for development of more efficient smart clothing in the future.
There are now many different commercial weather sensors suitable for smart farms, and various smart farm devices are being developed and distributed by companies participating in the government-led smart farm expansion project. However, most do not comply with standard specifications and are therefore limited to use in smart farms. This paper proposed the connecting structure of operating non-standard node devices in smart farms following standard specifications supporting smart greenhouse. This connecting structure was proposed as both a virtual node module method and a virtual node wrapper method. In addition, the SoftFarm2.0 system was experimentally operated to analyze the performance of the implementation of the two methods. SoftFarm2.0 system complies with the standard specifications and supports non-standard smart farm devices. According to the analysis results, both methods do not significantly affect performance in the operation of the smart farm. Therefore, it would be good to select and implement the method suitable for each non-standard smart farm device considering environmental constraints such as power, space, distance of communication between the gateway and the node of the smart farm, and software openness. This will greatly contribute to the spread of smart farms by maximizing deployment cost savings.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-identity and smart phone addiction among University students. This study used descriptive cross sectional study to analyze the relationship between self-identity and smart phone addiction. Study participants included 357 University students located in C province who selected through volunteered, but 10 missing data were excluded and finally 347 participants completed the study. The study data were collected using self-identity tool made by Park A chung in 1996 which was composed of Independence, Proprioception, Future conviction, Goal orientation, Initiate, and Intimacy and Smart phone addiction tool made by National information society agency. The self-identity's Cronbach's alpha was .937 and Smart phone was .670. All data analyses were performed using SPSS 18.0. Results showed that most students were not addicted(97.1%) in Smart phone using and middle level(73.2%) of self identity. Also, there was a difference in self - identity level according to gender and grade(the ratio of smart phone general users, not at all addicted, was 90.79% for males and 98.53% for females), and there was difference in Smart phone addiction level according to gender and residence type(the ratio of Smart phone general users, not at all addicted, is 99.32% for commute, 97.04% for dormitory, and 89.66% for self governing). Also there were strongly related with self-identity and Smart phone addiction(p < .001). This results reveled that self-identity affect to Smart phone addiction, therefore it is important to raise self-identity to prevent Smart phone addiction for University students.
Smart Learning has been spreaded rapidly to the education and industry fields. Especially, Smart Learning of the university and Smart Campus are the focus of attention of the knowledge based age, because university education play a core role for lifetime education and has largest ripple effect. This article is exploring on the concept and realization conditions of 'Smart Campus'. We think, Smart Campus is an alternative solution for the continuous development of university education in the smart time. The purpose of this study is to find out the difference of sense of self-efficacy and stress encountering strategy of university students under the stress situation depending on the smart-phone user group (addiction group, general user group). For this purpose, the study issues are established as follows. First, it has analyzed what is the correlation of smart-phone addiction, sense of self-efficacy, and stress encountering strategy. Second, it has studied if there is any difference of sense of self-efficacy and stress encountering strategy for the smart-phone user group. In order to verify such study issues, For 1,670 university students in the Chungcheong area, smart-phone addiction scale, sense of self-efficacy scale, and stress encountering method scale were administered. Looking into the study result, first, as a result of the relativity analysis, it displayed the correlation of preference of test difficulty, self-control efficacy and important negative from the smart-phone addiction and sense of self-efficacy. In addition, all sub-variables of smart-phone addiction and avoidance orientation from the stress encountering strategy displayed the important positive correlation, and from the smart-phone addiction, the virtual world orientation and pursuit of social-support displayed the important negative correlations, and all sub-variables (interference with ordinary living, virtual world striving direction, withdrawal, resistance) of smart-phone addiction and problem solving-orientation displayed the negative correlation. Second, as a result of verification for the difference of the smart-phone addiction group and general use group following the sense of self-efficacy, the general use group is shown to have higher self-control efficacy sense than the addiction group. And third, as a result of verifying the difference of stress encountering following the smart-phone addiction group and general use group, the addiction group is shown to be lower than the general use group in terms of social support pursuit and problem solution orientation with the avoidance orientation shown to be higher. This type of result is expected to provide the base data when developing the smart-phone addiction preventive education program by finding out in details for the characteristics of smart-phone addiction group for university students.
