As information and communication technology develops, it brings various benefits to our lives. However, information and communication technology has had various side effects in our lives. Representative side effects include internet addiction, smartphone addiction, copyright violation, personal information infringement, cyber bullying and hacking. Recently, smart phone addiction rate is increasing with the spread of smart devices in Korea. In this study, we analyze the correlation between age group and smartphone addiction. In order to obtain fair and objective results, statistical analysis was performed based on the national statistical data of the National Information Society Agency. The results showed that the infant group and the adult group were correlated with the smartphone addiction rate. In this study, we analyzed the causes of smartphone addiction for different age groups. We also discuss dangers of smartphone addiction for different age groups. In additions, we proposed various ways to prevent and cure smartphone addiction for infants, adults, and senior citizen group. The results of this study are expected to be widely used as a remedy for smartphone addiction and future smartphone addiction research works.

In the cases of the major cities, high poverty rate of the elderly, immature pension policies, and insufficient market conditions, policies and services for the employment of the elderly decrease the desire for the job participation. It is time to prevent the problems of the elderly, and induce the reachable seniors to participate in social activities. This research provides the location-based, customized job-search service for the elderly in order to actively support the participation in the economic activities of the elderly. The goal of SSJS(Smart Senior Job Search) is to provide the individual elderly with the customized position. It prints the appropriate positions near user location based on the residential area, job classification, and the physical condition, and provides the mash-up of the selectable job range in the unit distance based on the map. This customized service, which enables the seniors to select the type of the jobs based on their physical, mental and life conditions of the seniors, supports the participation in economic activities of the elderly people, and contribute to the expansion of the social job positions for the elderly and the equalization of the local development.

The construction of smart factories for government SMEs is not easy due to the lack of professional manpower. The use of retired professionals is a way to solve the problem to some extent and to solve the job problem of seniors by effectively utilizing social assets. This study examines the effectiveness of using Meister based on a survey of 195 companies participating in the Smart Meister Support Program. As a result, the better pre-participation readiness and the better management and coordination of change during the participation, the more significant influence was on Meister's ability development and corporate performance. In particular, it was confirmed that Meister's competence plays a role in both 'pre-participation readiness and business performance' and 'between change management during participation and business performance'. In order to improve the performance of the smart meister business in the future, it is necessary to proactively promote the purpose and purpose of the business targeting companies that wish to participate in the business. In addition, it was found that it is necessary to support the development of change management in order to minimize the resistance to innovation during the project. It will be possible to enhance social competitiveness by resolving senior jobs and strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs by discovering and utilizing Meister, who is an expert among retirees.

고령자들의 정신적/육체적 건강 유지를 위해 디지털 메디신 (Digitial Medicine)의 일환으로 일상에서의 운동 프로그램을 사용하는 시도가 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 특히 웨이러블 기기에 부착된 센서를 활용한 운동 처방과 분석 방법은 IoT 기술을 헬스케어 분야에 적용시키는 대표적인 예로 제시된다. 본 연구에서는 현재 수원시 노인정신건강센터에서 운영하는 운동 프로그램에서 기존에 수기로 수집되고 작성되는 데이터 분석의 신뢰성을 개선하고 노인들의 운동 동기를 촉구하고자 스마트밴드와 BLE 스캐너 장치를 활용하여 IoT(Internet of Thing)기반 행동 인터벤션(intervention) 시스템을 구현한다. 실제 운동 처방과 운동 데이터 분석을 통해 행동 인터벤션 시스템을 테스트하여 데이터 수집과 분석의 무결성을 검증하고 시스템의 개발과 적용에 대한 일련의 과정을 제시한다.

고령화 사회로 진입된 현재 노인들의 응급상황에 대한 안전 보호 기능이 더욱 요구되고 있으나, 노인들이 거주하고 있는 주거설비나 시설들은 노인의 안전에 대한 특성을 배려하지 못하고 있으므로 각종 안전사고가 일어날 수 있다. 특히 현재, 홀로 거주하는 노인들이 집안 내부 중 폐쇄공간인 화장실과 욕실과 같은 공간에서 발생하는 응급상황에 대비할 수 있는 기능은 호출 버튼을 누르는 정도이나, 노인들의 경우 화장실과 욕실에서 미끄러짐과 넘어짐과 같은 응급 상황이 많이 발생하고 있고 특히 생명과 직결되는 경우가 많다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 노인들이 거주하는 집안과 자주 이용하는 화장실에서 노인 안전 보호 기능을 강화할 수 있도록 다양한 센서를 통해 노인들의 움직임과 동작을 수집하고 수집된 노인들의 생활 패턴 정보에 대해 사례기반추론을 이용하여 실시간으로 상황을 인식하여 응급상황이 발생할 경우 신속하게 가족 혹은 친척이나 관련 기관에 전화를 걸어 대처할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다.

고령화 시대에 따라 고령운전자 역시 증가하고 있으며, 이들에 의한 교통사고 심각성에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 고령운전자에 의한 사고심각도 예측 모형의 필요성이 점차 요구됨에 따라, 본 연구에서는 기계학습 기법을 활용하여 고령운전자에 의한 차대사람 사고심각도 예측을 위한 모형 정립 및 분석을 수행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 4개의 기계학습 알고리즘 (Logistic Model, KNN, RF, SVM)을 활용, 예측 모형을 개발하고 각 결과를 비교하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 Logistic과 SVM 모형이 상대적으로 높은 예측력을 보였으며, 정확도 측면에서는 RF가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 추가적으로 각 중요 변수들을 이용하여 교차분석을 수행한 후 그 결과를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과들은 고령화시대에 고령운전자에 의한 사고심각성을 예방하기 위한 안전정책 및 인프라 개발에 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

This report was prepared to introduce the developed Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Food Safety Management System (iMEAL) for children's foodservices registered in the Center for Children's Foodservice Management and report the results of hygiene monitoring through microbial analysis of two foods simulated and distributed based on this system. The program consisted of three menu screens: a foodservice management and meal inspection function, a refrigerator/freezer monitoring function, and a sanitary/safety inspection log function. Data such as cooking temperature, refrigerator and freezer temperature, salinity, and chlorine concentration were collected using IoT sensors or terminals, and hygiene safety inspection diary results (recorded by cooks) were transmitted to the Internet and stored. The APCs (3.78±0.07 log CFU/g) and E. coli (not detected) in stir-fried pork teriyaki sauce and the heating process met cooking standards. Similarly, the APCs (4.05±0.05 log CFU/g) and E. coli (not detected) in cucumber/chomuchim, which was not heated, also met cooking standards. APCs increased over time when cooked food was left for 1 hour, 1.5 hours, or 2 hours but remained acceptedable. Based on hygiene monitoring results of these two foods, using the i-MEAL system resulted in the safe production and distribution of children's food.

The number of elderly citizens has risen in Korea and resulted in an aging society. Correspondingly, the social interest in the aging population has escalated immensely; however, research or product development on the quality of life for seniors has shortcomings. Healthcare smart clothing is required to help the elderly with changes and weaknesses that follow aging; however, there is unfortunately insufficient amounts available. This study explores the feasibilities of smart clothing for seniors based on a universal design. Based on previous research, we analyzed the universal design theory, body shape characteristics and design requirements for seniors, and heart rate measurement method. The design is different according to body shape and body shape is different between sex, age, and body race; therefore, subjects were limited to 70-74 year old Korean males in this study. This study proposes a guideline for heart rate sensing clothing that satisfies the 'universal design' aspects as well as the functionality of heart sensing, senior's physical characteristics and needs. It has broadened the range of smart clothing, which was once limited to the younger generation and provided a foundation for the development of specialized smart clothing for seniors.

In the Republic of Korea, there's been a culture called 'Hyo' since Koryo Dynasty and this word represents the meaning of paying utmost respects to one's own parents and ancestors whether they are alive or have passed. However, nowadays, most of people live away from their family gravesites so that they do not and cannot take care of them except on the special holidays. For this reason, people could not respond promptly to the incidents occurred at the sites as they receive notifications much later dates most of the time. Thus, in this paper, we propose a low-cost gravesite monitoring system which the users can immediately respond to the disastrous events after being informed of current situations through PLC without delay. For the performance evaluation, the lab and test bed experiments were performed on an actual ship using 200Mbps and 500Mbps products instead of performing an on-site experiment after the system has actually been constructed. The Mountain Region PLC was installed on the power lines and the result showed successful 36.14Mbps communication. Therefore, we expect that this study will contribute in time and cost reduction while constructing the internet infrastructures in mountain regions or building the Smart-graves, tumulus, and charnel houses.
