Recently, smart lighting systems are the combination between sensors and lights. These systems turn on/off and adjust the brightness of lights based on the motion of object and the brightness of environment. These systems are often applied in places such as buildings, rooms, garages and parking lot. However, these lighting systems are controlled by lighting sensors, motion sensors based on illumination environment and motion detection. In this paper, we propose an automatic lighting control system using one single camera for buildings, rooms and garages. The proposed system is one integration the results of digital image processing as motion detection, hand gesture detection to control and dim the lighting system. The experimental results showed that the proposed system work very well and could consider to apply for automatic lighting spaces.
The era of the fourth industrial revolution, which will bring about a great wave of change in the 21st century, is the age of super-connection that links humans to humans, objects to objects, and humans to objects. In the smart city and the smart space which are evolving further, emotional engineering is a field of interdisciplinary researches that still attract attention with the development of technology. This paper proposes an emotional object prototype as a possibility of emotional interaction in the relation between human and object. By suggesting emotional objects that produce color changes and movements through the emotional interactions between humans and objects against the current social issue-loneliness of modern people, we have approached the influence of our lives in the relation with objects. It is expected that emotional objects that are approached from the fundamental view will be able to be in our lives as a viable cultural intermediary in our future living space.

Recently, due to decrease hardware prices and the development of technology, analog signage has been changing to digital signage for providing content such as advertisements, videos. Furthermore, in order to provide advertisements and contents to users more effectively, technical researches are being conducted in various industries. In addition, including digital signage that uses displays, it can be seen that it provides advertisements and contents using diverse devices such as LED signage, smart pads, and smart phones. However, most digital signage is installed in one place to provide contents and provides interactivity through simple events such as manual content provision or touch. So, in this paper, we suggest a new object detection algorithm based on an adjacent frames based image correction algorithm for interactive building signage.
The major problems of recent object tracking methods are related to the inefficient detection of moving objects due to occlusions, noisy background and inconsistent body motion. This paper presents a robust method for the detection and tracking of a moving in infrared animal videos. The tracking system is based on adaptive optical flow generation, Gaussian mixture and Kalman filtering. The adaptive Gaussian model of optical flow (GMOF) is used to extract foreground and noises are removed based on the object motion. Kalman filter enables the prediction of the object position in the presence of partial occlusions, and changes the size of the animal detected automatically along the image sequence. The presented method is evaluated in various environments of unstable background because of winds, and illuminations changes. The results show that our approach is more robust to background noises and performs better than previous methods.
Weakly supervised object localization (WSOL) is a task of localizing an object in an image using only image-level labels. Previous studies have followed the conventional class activation mapping (CAM) pipeline. However, we reveal the current CAM approach suffers from problems which cause original CAM could not capture the complete defects features. This work utilizes a convolutional neural network (CNN) pretrained on image-level labels to generate class activation maps in a multi-scale manner to highlight discriminative regions. Additionally, a vision transformer (ViT) pretrained was treated to produce multi-head attention maps as an auxiliary detector. By integrating the CNN-based CAMs and attention maps, our approach localizes defective regions without requiring bounding box or pixel-level supervision during training. We evaluate our approach on a dataset of apple images with only image-level labels of defect categories. Experiments demonstrate our proposed method aligns with several Object Detection models performance, hold a promise for improving localization.

This paper reports a novel object-detection technique in video sequences. The proposed algorithm consists of detection of objects in illuminated and occluded videos by using object features and a neural network technique. It consists of two functional modules: region-based object feature extraction and continuous detection of objects in video sequences with region features. This scheme is proposed as an enhancement of the Lowe's scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) object detection method. This technique solved the high computation time problem of feature generation in the SIFT method. The improvement is achieved by region-based feature classification in the objects to be detected; optimal neural network-based feature reduction is presented in order to reduce the object region feature dataset with winner pixel estimation between the video frames of the video sequence. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves better overall performance than other object detection techniques, and region-based feature detection is faster in comparison to other recent techniques.

Artificial intelligence is evolving rapidly in the ICT field, smart convergence media system and content industry through the fourth industrial revolution, and it is evolving very rapidly through Big Data. In this paper, we propose a face recognition method based on object recognition based on object recognition through artificial intelligence. In this method, Were experimented and studied through the object recognition technique of artificial intelligence. In the conventional 3D image field, general research on object recognition has been carried out variously, and researches have been conducted on the side effects of visual fatigue and dizziness through 3D image. However, in this study, we tried to solve the problem caused by the quantitative difference between object recognition and object recognition for human factor algorithm that measure visual fatigue through cognitive function, morphological analysis and object recognition. Especially, The new method of computer interaction is presented and the results are shown through experiments.

This paper presents a method for estimating the bounding volume for image-based 3D object reconstruction. The bounding volume of an object is a three-dimensional space where the object is expected to exist, and the size of the bounding volume strongly affects the resolution of the reconstructed geometry. Therefore, the size of a bounding volume should be as small as possible while it encloses an actual object. To this end, the proposed method uses a set of silhouettes of an object and generates a point cloud using a point filter. A bounding volume is then determined as the minimum sphere that encloses the point cloud. The experimental results show that the proposed method generates a bounding volume that encloses an actual object as small as possible.
Recently, smart factories have attracted much attention as a result of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Existing factory automation technologies are generally designed for simple repetition without using vision sensors. Even small object assemblies are still dependent on manual work. To satisfy the needs for replacing the existing system with new technology such as bin picking and visual servoing, precision and real-time application should be core. Therefore in our work we focused on the core elements by using deep learning algorithm to detect and classify the target object for real-time and analyzing the object features. We chose YOLO CNN which is capable of real-time working and combining the two tasks as mentioned above though there are lots of good deep learning algorithms such as Mask R-CNN and Fast R-CNN. Then through the line and inside features extracted from target object, we can obtain final outline and estimate object posture.

Smart work has been gaining more popularity recently. Smart work means that employees perform their works anytime and anywhere as utilizing the information and communication technology. It can be divided into four categories; the mobile office, the home office, the work-at-center and the tele-cooperation. Among them, the mobile office based on tablet personal computers(PCs) or smart phones, employees can exchange information with tablet PCs or smart phones via mobile radio communication networks and portable terminals. Smart devices such as tablet PCs and smart phones help to access intranet system for requests, approvals, information search whenever employees need. This mobile office system for real-time HSE managing can contribute to improve the productivity and work efficiency in a shipyard. In this study, the main goal is to design the specialized mobile application for the HSE management system on the shipbuilding industry. The mobile application including 10 functions is designed based on ooCBD(object-oriented Component Based Development) methodology.
