거리측정이 가능한 단동형 수중 스테레오 카메라의 제어 (Control of an Underwater Stereo Camera Embedded in a Single Canister Capable of Measuring Distance)

  • This paper present the control of the image disparity of a parallel stereo camera and its application to an underwater stereo camera to enhance the working efficiency of underwater vehicles that are equiped with manipulators in seabed operation. The stereo camera consists of two parallel lenses mounted on a lateral moving base and two CCD cameras mounted on a longitudinal moving base, which is embedded in a small pressure canister for underwater application. Because the lateral shift is related to the backward shift with a nonlinear relation, only one control input is needed to control the vergence and focus of the camera with a special driving device. We can get clear stereo vision with the camera for all the range of objects in air and in water, especially in short range object. The control system of the camera is so simple that we are able to realize a small stereo camera system and apply it to a stereo vision system for underwater vehicles. This paper also shows how to acquire the distance information of an underwater object with this stereo camera. Whenever we focus on an underwater object with the camera, we can obtain three-dimensional images and distance information in real-time.

  • 본 논문에서는 Dynamic Programming(DP)을 적용한 트리구조 미로내의 목표물 탐색 알고리즘을 구현한다. DP는 큰 문제를 이루는 작은 문제들을 먼저 해결하고 작은 문제들의 최적해를 이용하여 순환적으로 큰 문제를 해결한다. 먼저 실험을 위해 적외선 센서론 부착한 소형 이동 로봇과, 'Y'형태로 갈라진 길을 연결한 트리 구조의 미로 환경을 구성한다. 실험에서는 두 개의 서로 다른 알고리즘 - 좌수법, DP - 을 사용하여 목표물 탐색을 시도한다. 마지막으로 위 실험을 통해 DP를 미로 탐색문제에 적용했을 때의 성능을 검증한다.

수산경영학의 대상규정에 관한 시론적 고찰 (A Tentative Paper on the Object of Study in Fisheries Management)

  • The dispute on the object of study in the business management have been carried out since 1912 in Germany, and then it is the situation of "business management" academic world there is no the confirmed object. But P. F. Drucker has prescribed the large enterprise as the object of his study of management, because the large enterprise it the decisive, the representative, and constitutive in modern industrial country. And it is usual that we would consider the large manufacturing enterprise as the object of study. But, in fisheries management, because large fisheries enterprises are almost attached too much to the pelagic fisheries, it is judged that they are not "decisive". And it is judged that they are not "representative", because the large fisheries enterprises can not sufficiently symbolize the managerial characteristic of fisheries industry. The coastal and inshore fisheries which constitute th real part of fishing industry have been operating by private enterprises which are small business in scale, so the large fisheries enterprises could not be considered "constitutive " Therefore, the private fisheries enterprises is "decisive" because it is distributed in all most fisheries management, "representative" because it is exceedingly symbolize the managerial characteristic of fishing industry, and constitutive because it constitute the real part of fisheries industry. From the above-mentioned, it could be concluded that the object of study is regarded the private fisheries enterprise as appropriate as long as it is engaging in producing fisheries product as good and conducts the pursuit of principle of profit maximization. Because the object of study can not include all the thing which has to be observed in order to study, the materialization of the object is actually necessary. And then as aforesaid we intend to realize the materialization through taking the private fisheries enterprise as the object in fisheries management theory. And the materialization does mean a necessary process in choosing the object of analysis, but not the entity itself.choosing the object of analysis, but not the entity itself.

몰입 가상현실 환경에서 적응형 캐스팅을 통한 객체 선택 방법 (An Object Selection Method through Adaptive Casting in Immersive Virtual Reality)

  • 몰입 가상현실 환경에서 사용자들은 다양한 가상객체들을 선택하여 목표로 하는 일을 수행할 수 있다. 사용자가 원하는 가상객체를 선택하기 위해서는 일반적으로 사용자의 시야에서 가상의 선분을 발사하여 그 선분과 객체가 일치되었을 때 객체를 선택하게 하는 Ray-Casting이나 여러 객체들을 동시에 선택해서 원하는 객체를 선택하는 Cone-Casting 기반의 객체선택 방법들이 널리 사용된다. 하지만 CAD에서 사용되는 가상객체들은 그 자체적으로 세부적인 작은 객체들로 구성되고 결합이 되어 있어서 사용자의 시야에서 원하는 객체를 기존 방법들로 선택하는 경우 사용자가 원하는 객체가 아니라 다른 객체가 선택되는 모호성 문제가 발생하여 원하는 객체를 선택하는데 문제가 발생하며, 그룹으로 객체를 선택하더라도 원하는 객체를 선택하기 위해서 결국 가상객체들의 위치 및 구조 등을 변경해야 하는 추가 작업을 해야 하는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 가상객체가 여러 작은 세부적인 가상객체들로 구성이 되어 있더라도 이들이 가지고 있는 공간적인 연관 관계를 계산하고 이 연관 관계에 따라서 세부적인 가상객체들을 펼치거나 줄여서 사용자가 선택을 원하는 객체를 빠르고 정확하게 선택하는 방법을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 본 논문에서 제안한 Adaptive-Casting 선택 방법과 기존의 Ray-Casting 과 Cone-Casting 방법들과 성능비교 실험을 하였다. 실험 결과 본 논문에서 제안한 방법이 사용자가 원하는 객체를 선택할 때 걸리는 속도가 가장 빠르면서 정확하다는 결과를 보여주었다.

Salient Object Detection via Adaptive Region Merging

  • Most existing salient object detection algorithms commonly employed segmentation techniques to eliminate background noise and reduce computation by treating each segment as a processing unit. However, individual small segments provide little information about global contents. Such schemes have limited capability on modeling global perceptual phenomena. In this paper, a novel salient object detection algorithm is proposed based on region merging. An adaptive-based merging scheme is developed to reassemble regions based on their color dissimilarities. The merging strategy can be described as that a region R is merged with its adjacent region Q if Q has the lowest dissimilarity with Q among all Q's adjacent regions. To guide the merging process, superpixels that located at the boundary of the image are treated as the seeds. However, it is possible for a boundary in the input image to be occupied by the foreground object. To avoid this case, we optimize the boundary influences by locating and eliminating erroneous boundaries before the region merging. We show that even though three simple region saliency measurements are adopted for each region, encouraging performance can be obtained. Experiments on four benchmark datasets including MSRA-B, SOD, SED and iCoSeg show the proposed method results in uniform object enhancement and achieve state-of-the-art performance by comparing with nine existing methods.

실시간 객체지향 프로그램의 실행시간을 감시하는 모니터의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Monitor Checking the Execution Time of Real-time Object-oriented Programs)

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간 객체 모델인 TMO(Time-triggered Message-triggered Object)에 기반을 둔 실시간 객체지향 프로그램의 시간 제약이 제대로 만족되는가를 시스템 수행 중에 감시하기 위한 모니터의 효과적인 구현 방안에 대하여 논한다. 구현 환경으로 윈도우 OS상의 TMO 프로그램 실행 환경인 WTMOS(Windows TMO System)를 이용하였고, 감시 주체가 되는 수행 시간 모니터의 성능 분석을 위하여 온도 제어를 위한 응용 시스템이 구축되었다. 모니터 대상과 모니터 조건을 TMO 프로그램내에 명시하는 방법과 정의된 모니터의 기능을 WTMOS 내부와 TMO 형태의 응용 객체로 분산시켜서 적은 비용으로 시스템을 구축하는 방법을 제시한다.

수치지도 Ver. 2.0 대상물 연결기법 개선 (The Advance of Object Join Technique for Digital Map Ver. 2.0)

  • 대축척 수치지도를 이용하여 소축척 수치지도를 제작하기 위해서는 일반화 방법이 사용된다. 이중 가장 많은 처리시간과 수작업을 요하는 것이 대상물의 연결공정이다. 국토지리정보원에서 사용하는 대상물 연결기법은 수치지도 Ver. 1.0을 기반으로 하였기 때문에 속성정보가 포함된 수치지도 Ver. 2.0에 적용시킬 경우 저조한 연결율과 많은 처리시간이 필요하다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 속성정보와 도형정보를 고려하여 수치지도 Ver. 2.0에 적합하도록 대상물 연결기법을 개선하였다. 개선된 기법을 적용한 결과 대상물의 연결율을 높이고 처리시간의 감소효과를 얻을 수 있었다.

초음파 영상에서 LoG 연산자를 이용한 진단 객체의 3차원 분할 (3D Segmentation of a Diagnostic Object in Ultrasound Images Using LoG Operator)

  • This paper proposes a three-dimensional (3D) segmentation algorithm for extracting a diagnostic object from ultrasound images by using a LoG operator In the proposed algorithm, 2D cutting planes are first obtained by the equiangular revolution of a cross sectional Plane on a reference axis for a 3D volume data. In each 2D ultrasound image. a region of interest (ROI) box that is included tightly in a diagnostic object of interest is set. Inside the ROI box, a LoG operator, where the value of $\sigma$ is adaptively selected by the distance between reference points and the variance of the 2D image, extracts edges in the 2D image. In Post processing. regions of the edge image are found out by region filling, small regions in the region filled image are removed. and the contour image of the object is obtained by morphological opening finally. a 3D volume of the diagnostic object is rendered from the set of contour images obtained by post-processing. Experimental results for a tumor and gall bladder volume data show that the proposed method yields on average two times reduction in error rate over Krivanek's method when the results obtained manually are used as a reference data.

압전 플레이트의 모드 튜닝을 이용한 선형 엑츄에이터 설계 (Linear Actuator using Tuned Modes of a Piezoelectric Plate)

  • In this paper, linear ultrasonic actuators are designed using two dimensional motions of a PMW-PT piezoelectric plate. By equalizing the natural frequencies of longitudinal and transverse vibration modes in the cantilever structure, the ultrasonic motion of the combined vibration modes are generated. We have designed two different PMN-PT actuators: one uses a tip attached on the edge of the actuator and it drives the object in the perpendicular direction of the tip. In other model, the actuator plate moves itself through stationary guides. Prototypes of the two models are manufactured and experiments results are compared to the theoretical and numerical results. The effects of structural characteristics and the friction force existing between the actuator tip and the moving object are considered. Experiments show the possibility of small size ultrasonic linear motors which can be applicable to small form factor information storage and phone camera actuators.

2자유도 제어기법에 의한 전자 유압 서보계의 압력제어 (Pressure Control of Electro-Hydraulic Servo System by Two-Degree of Freedom Control Scheme)

  • The purpose of this study is to build up the control scheme that promptly controls the pressure in a hydraulic cylinder having small control volume, using a PCV(proportional control valve) and a digital computer. Object pressure control system has the character to be unstable easily, because the displacement-flow gain of the PCV is so large considering comparatively small volume of the hydraulic cylinder and the time delay of response of PCV is long. Considering the above-mentioned characteristics of the object pressure control system, in this study, a control system is designed with two degree of freedom scheme that is composed by adding a feed-forward control path to I-PD control system, and the reference model is used to decide control parameters. And through some experiments on FF-I-PD, the validity of this control method is confirmed.
