In this study, numerical analysis and model experiments were conducted to analyze behavioral characteristics acting on the track roadbed with excavation through steel pipe injection, a non-exclusive method of crossing construction under railroad as primary target. In model experiments that simulate injection excavation behaviors with an increase in the depth of soil cover, the upper displacement was measured by construction of the first and the second pipes in order to predict actual behaviors, and the behavior characteristics were verified through numerical analysis. The investigation results showed that surface displacement was smaller under the condition of higher soil cover. In the case of injecting two pipes, when the first pipe was injected, deformation of the surface increased linearly in both settlement and uplift experiments. However, when the second pipe was injected, the amount of change was found to be very small due to the relaxation and plastic zones around the first pipe. In addition, the results of numerical analysis on the same cross section with the model experiment found that the results of investigation into settlement ratio and volume loss were in very good agreement with those obtained by the model experiment.

Numerical model was developed that simulates radionuclide (3H and 14C) transport modeling at the 2nd phase facility at the Wolsong LILW Disposal Center. Four scenarios were simulated with different assumptions about the integrity of the components of the barrier system. For the design case, the multi-barrier system was shown to be effective in diverting infiltration water around the vaults containing radioactive waste. Nevertheless, the volatile radionuclide 14C migrates outside the containment system and through the unsaturated zone, driven by gas diffusion. 3H is largely contained within the vaults where it decays, with small amounts being flushed out in the liquid state. Various scenarios were examined in which the integrity of the cover barrier system or that of the concrete were compromised. In the absence of any engineered barriers, 3H is washed out to the water table within the first 20 years. The release of 14C by gas diffusion is suppressed if percolation fluxes through the facility are high after a cover failure. However, the high fluxes lead to advective transport of 14C dissolved in the liquid state. The concrete container is an effective barrier, with approximately the same effectiveness as the cover.
This paper introduces a preliminary work for the design of a mini-dish cluster system for power general ion. Each mini-dish (typically has a 20 to 30cm in diameter) is designed with a simple parabolic profile, concentrating sun light (after the glass glazing cover to avoid dust deposition on the reflector and facilitate cleaning) onto a centrally located small plane(or concave) mirror which is placed on the bottom side of the transparent glass cover. The mirror with a mini-dish concentrator is designed to focus beam radiation onto a focal point before it enters a bundle of optical fibers connected to a remote receiver for power generation different options are considered In designing a mini-dish concentrator to maximize its effectiveness for the collection and use of solar energy.

Kato[6] and Torres[9] characterized the Weierstrass semigroup of ramification points on h-hyperelliptic curves. Also they showed the converse results that if the Weierstrass semigroup of a point P on a curve C satisfies certain numerical condition then C can be a double cover of some curve and P is a ramification point of that double covering map. In this paper we expand their results on the Weierstrass semigroup of a ramification point of a double covering map to the Weierstrass semigroup of a pair (P, Q). We characterized the Weierstrass semigroup of a pair (P, Q) which lie on the same fiber of a double covering map to a curve with relatively small genus. Also we proved the converse: if the Weierstrass semigroup of a pair (P, Q) satisfies certain numerical condition then C can be a double cover of some curve and P, Q map to the same point under that double covering map.

This study presents a technique to quantitatively measure the corrosion level of a reinforcing bar using the infrared thermography system. The temperature-distribution of the concrete surface is monitored and the temperature change of the reinforcing bar is analysed in terms of corrosion level and concrete cover depth. The experimental results indicate that temperature increase of the reinforcing bar is significant when the corrosion level is high, which implies that the quantity of heat is strongly dependent on corrosion level. Also, as the concrete cover depth of the specimen and the atmosphere temperature increase, the temperature variation becomes small.

Structural Dynamics Modification is very effective technique to improve structure's dynamic characteristics by adding or removing auxiliary structures, changing material property, changing shape of structure. In this research, using the surface grooving technique, shape of base structure was changed to improve its first natural frequency. Utilizing the result of frequency variation analysis, groove shape was formed gathering the many small embossing elements. For this process, Criterion Factor was introduced. To reduce its amount of calculation, the range of target area was restricted to their neighboring area and initial grooving point was selected using high-strain energy. This surface grooving technique was successfully applied to the HDD cover model.

The land cover map has been produced by using satellite and aerial images. However, these two images have the limitations in spatial resolution, and it is difficult to acquire images of a area at desired time because of the influence of clouds. In addition, it is costly and time-consuming that mapping land cover map of a small area used by satellite and aerial images. This study used multispectral camera-based drone to acquire multi-temporal images for orthoimages generation. The efficiency of produced land cover map was evaluated using time series analysis. The results indicated that the proposed method can generated RGB orthoimage and multispectral orthoimage with RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) of ${\pm}10mm$, ${\pm}11mm$, ${\pm}26mm$ and ${\pm}28mm$, ${\pm}27mm$, ${\pm}47mm$ on X, Y, H respectively. The accuracy of the pixel-based and object-based land cover map was analyzed and the results showed that the accuracy and Kappa coefficient of object-based classification were higher than that of pixel-based classification, which were 93.75%, 92.42% on July, 92.50%, 91.20% on October, 92.92%, 91.77% on February, respectively. Moreover, the proposed method can accurately capture the quantitative area change of the object. In summary, the suggest study demonstrated the possibility and efficiency of using multispectral camera-based drone in production of land cover map.
Aging is characterized by a gradual decline in biological functions, leading to the increased probability of diseases and deaths in organisms. Previous studies have identified biological factors that modulate aging and lifespan, including non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs). Here, we review the relationship between aging and tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs), ncRNAs that are generated from the cleavage of tRNAs. We describe age-dependent changes in tsRNA levels and their functions in age-related diseases, such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. We also discuss the association of tsRNAs with aging-regulating processes, including mitochondrial respiration and reduced mRNA translation. We cover recent findings regarding the potential roles of tsRNAs in cellular senescence, a major cause of organismal aging. Overall, our review will provide useful information for understanding the roles of tsRNAs in aging and age-associated diseases.

The images of MODerate resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) that provide wider swath and shorter revisit frequency than Land Satellite (Landsat) and Satellite Pour I' Observation de la Terre (SPOT) has been used fer land cover classification with better spatial resolution than National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration/Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (NOAA/AVHRR)'s images. Due to the advantages of MODIS, several researches have conducted, however the results for the land cover classification using MODIS images have less accuracy of classification in small areas because of low spatial resolution. In this study, uncertainty of paddy fields classification using MODIS images was conducted in the region of Gyeonggi-do and the relation between this uncertainty of estimating paddy fields and topographical factors was also explained. The accuracy of classified paddy fields was compared with the land cover map of Environmental Geographic Information System (EGIS) in 2001 classified using Landsat images. Uncertainty of paddy fields classification was analyzed about the elevation and slope from the 30m resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM) provided in EGIS. As a result of paddy classification, user's accuracy was about 41.5% and producer's accuracy was 57.6%. About 59% extracted paddy fields represented over 50 uncertainty in one hundred scale and about 18% extracted paddy fields showed 100 uncertainty. It is considered that several land covers mixed in a MODIS pixel influenced on extracted results and most classified paddy fields were distributed through elevation I, II and slope A region.
