중소기업의 해외시장진입방식으로서 인터넷 직접마케팅에 관한 연구 (A Study on the SMEs' Internet Direct Marketing as an entry mode to foreign markets)

  • It is likely that the Internet play a significant role in international marketing strategies. Especially small and medium sized enterprises that have suffered from lack of resources and information, are able to make the best use of information technology to overcome various barriers. The purpose of this study is to explore the availability of the Internet as a means for small and medium sized firms to enter into international markets. To do this we reviewed previous researches on obstacles faced by small and medium sized firms to go abroad. And we suggest that the Internet marketing can be used as an entry mode to foreign markets and some tasks should be executed to gain competitive advantage. Finally some public policies to support SMEs' internationalization are indicated

ISO 9000 품질경영시스템의 인풍기관 유형에 따른 중소기업 경영성과의 차이에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Difference in Management Performance of Small-and Medium-sized Companies Due to the Types of ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems Certification Agencies)

  • Small- and medium-sized companies obtain ISO 9000 quality management systems as a way of adapting to the changes of business environment and improving their business performance. Certificates of ISO 9000 quality management systems have been granted to companies by either domestic or foreign certification agencies with different requirements and standards. This study empirically examined whether there are differences in business performance among small- and medium-sized companies that have obtained ISO 9000 quality management system from different types (domestic or foreign) of certification agencies. This study found that there are statistically significant differences in both qualitative and quantitative business performance among them. The findings of this study imply that companies considering ISO 9000 quality management systems be prudent in choosing the type of certification agency to maximize the expected benefits of ISO 9000 quality management systems. This study also provides the government agency regulating ISO 9000 quality management certification system with some valuable information that brings up the need for establishing and managing a more effective quality management certification system.

기업의 사회적 책임활동이 기업이미지에 미치는 영향 : 대기업과 중소기업의 비교 (The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Corporate Image : Large versus Small and Medium Sized Company)

  • Previous studies have examined the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate's business performance (especially, consumers' corporate evaluation). According to them, the corporate social responsibility influences the consumers' corporate evaluation. A small and medium sized company as well as a large company is asked to conduct socially responsible actions, however, it is not easy to find a study that focuses on whether the effect of the corporate social responsibility on the consumers' corporate evaluation is different by the size of company. In this paper, we classified the corporate social responsibility into the four dimensions (economic responsibility, legal responsibility, ethical responsibility, philanthropic responsibility), and investigate the differences between a small and medium sized company and a large company in the effects of the four dimensions on the consumers' corporate evaluation. We showed that the each dimension of the corporate social responsibility had an positive effect on the corporate image regardless of the size of company. In addition, we demonstrated that the effects of the four dimensions on the company image were different by the size of company; The legal responsibility and ethical responsibility are more influential to the corporate image of a large company than to that of a small and medium sized company, however, the effects of economic responsibility and philanthropic responsibility are not different by the size of company.

  • 본 연구는 간접지원사업과의 연계 및 시너지 창출을 염두에 두고 IT분야 중소기업의 필요를 적절히 지원해 줄 수 있는 금융지원방법에 대해 그 대안 및 정책적 적용여부를 제안하고 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 대표적인 직접지원 방식인 융자지원과 관련하여 기존사업의 개선점들을 살펴보고 외국의 융자정책사례를 벤치마킹함으로써 종합적으로 대안적인 융자방식에 대해 살펴보았다. 다음으로, 투자방식을 통한 직접지원정책을 함께 고려한 대안적 금융지원 방식에 대해서도 살펴봄으로써 IT분야 중소기업에 대한 금융지원정책을 총체적으로 진단하고 있다.

중국 중소기업의 자본구조 결정요인 (Determinants on the Capital Structure of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises in China)

  • 중국의 전체 산업 중 기업 수를 토대로 볼 때 중소기업이 차지하는 비중은 99%이고, 종업원 수는 80%를 차지하며, 중국 국내총생산(GDP)의 60%를 차지하고 있어 중국 내 중소기업은 중국의 경제성장에 매우 중요한 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 본 논문은 중국 심천증권거래소에 상장된 기업들 중 제조업에 속하는 45개 중소기업들을 대상으로 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 자본구조가 어떠한 요인들에 의하여 결정되는지를 확인하고자 하는데 연구목적이 있다. 본 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성장성은 부채비율에 1% 유의수준에서 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 수익성은 부채비율에 1% 유의수준에서 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기업규모는 부채비율에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 담보가치, 비부채성 절세효과는 부채비율에 약한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구는 투자자들에 대한 정보제공과 중국 중소기업의 재무구조 개선을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

지속가능 공급사슬관리가 만족과 상생협력에 미치는 영향: 중소유통물류센터와 체인점의 비교 (Effect of Sustainable Supply Chain Management on Satisfaction and Win-Win Cooperation: Comparison of Small and Medium-Sized Distribution Logistics Center and Chain Store)

  • Purpose: Recent emergence of diverse businesses in the distribution industry has led small and medium-sized retailers and their distribution logistics centers to face difficulties. Transactions between companies are connected within a supply chain, and the companies have relationships in the form of a supplier and a buyer. Therefore, it is important to identify causes of problems among companies through supply chain and strategic partnerships, thus developing optimal management plans and maximizing performances of companies. This study proposes that sustainable supply chain management consists of product quality, price quality, distribution quality, and promotion quality based on stakeholder theory and resource-based view. This study examined the impacts of sustainable chain management factors on satisfaction and win-win cooperation. Research design, data, and methodology: In the proposed model, satisfaction plays a mediating role in the relationship between sustainable chain management and win-win cooperation. The data were collected from 245 owners who use small and medium-sized distribution logistics center and analyzed using 2SLS (two-stage least square) with SPSS 28.0. Exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis were used to assess the validity and reliability of constructs. Results: The findings are as follows. In the case of the total and Nadeulgage samples, product, price, and distribution quality had a significant positive effect on satisfaction, but in the case of Neighborhood super, product and price quality have a significant positive effect on satisfaction. Satisfaction has a significant positive effect on win-win cooperation in the overall, Nadeulgage, and Neighborhood super. Satisfaction plays a partial or full mediating role in the case of total, Nadeulgage, Neighborhood super. Conclusions: This study emphasized the need for sustainable supply chain management of small and medium-sized distribution logistics centers by examining the relationship between small and medium-sized distribution logistics centers and chain stores. It was found that store satisfaction plays an important role in the win-win cooperation between small and medium-sized distribution logistics centers and chain stores. Small and medium-sized distribution logistics centers can maximize product quality, price quality, distribution quality, and promotion quality by understanding the effect of chain store-related satisfaction and win-win cooperation on chain stores.

An Empirical Assessment of Organizational Commitment and Job Performance: Vietnam Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

  • Research on employee commitment to the organization is necessary for human resource management, and the result is applied in practice to improve organizational effectiveness. The aim of the present study is to explore factors affecting organizational commitment at the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. Besides, the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance is examined as well. The research was conducted on a sample consisting of 67 white-collar workers and 260 blue-collar workers at SMEs. A total of 327 valid complete questionnaires were input into SPSS 20 database for processing to provide evidence. The research model and hypotheses were tested using the technique of the hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The research resultsrevealed that income, reward and welfare, direct manager, working environment, coworker, and promotion opportunity tended to associate positively with organizational commitment. Besides, the finding also showed that, when the employee has a high organizational commitment, it would lead to high job performance. The main findings of this study provided some managerial implications for SMEs, in general, and managers, in particular. It implies that Vietnam's small and medium-sized enterprises should improve these six factors to retain employees as well as enhance their job performance.

지방 중소병원의 역량이 경영성과에 미치는 영향과 조직구조의 조절효과 (Influence of Competencies on the Performance of Local Small and Medium-sized Hospitals and the Moderating Effect of Organizational Structure)

  • Main purpose of this study is to provide some managerial suggestions for local small and medium-sized hospitals that are in poorer business environment than large hospitals such as university hospitals, in managing the manpower efficiently, improving business performance and enhancing competitiveness, by empirically investigating the relationship among competency, organizational structure and business performance. Major results are as follows: First, regression analysis for the effects of hospital competency on nonfinancial performance revealed that marketing competency, intangible resource competency and financial resource competency, in that order of importance, had significant influence on nonfinancial performance. Second, regarding the analysis of the effects of hospital competency on financial performance, financial resource competency, marketing competency and intangible resource competency, in that order of importance, significantly affected financial performance. Third, as for the moderating effect, significant result was obtained in an interaction between hospital competency and organizational structure. Financial resource competency had a positive significant impact on nonfinancial performance. However, it had negative significant impact on it by interactive effect with organizational structure.

  • The study examines the influence of the five pillars of inclusive financing on the empowerment of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and the influence of institutional conditions on the empowerment of MSMEs. This study uses primary and secondary data. The population of the study are MSMEs; the is a total of 930,620 MSMEs in Jakarta. Owners of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises is a good population to be measured because they are the main actors that know exactly the challenges and the obstacles in doing business addressing problems faced in inclusive financing, which is related to the purpose of the study. The research borrows from finance and entrepreneurial theories for model design. The results of the study show that all the variables are significant and positive in the efforts to finance MSMEs in Indonesia, which means that financial education plays an important role in the sustainability of financial inclusion. The financial theory, developed to explain financing at the company level, needs to be adapted to the entrepreneurial situation, so that it can explain the behavior of small businesses. This means that, with correct financial knowledge, financial inclusion plays an important role in the sustainability of MSMEs in Indonesia.

중국의 창업판시장과 중소벤처기업의 상장전후 경영성과 분석에 관한 연구 (Chinese Growth Enterprise Market and Business Performance Analysis on Small and Medium Sized Firms and Venture Firms Before and After Listing)

  • 글로벌 경제위기이후 중국은 세계경제의 두 축의 하나로 부상하였으며, 한국경제에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 국가로 자리매김 하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 현재까지 한국에서는 중국의 금융시장 특히는 자본시장에 관한 연구가 매우 적은 실정이다. 본 연구는 중국 심천증권거래소에 출범한 창업판시장을 살펴보고, 중국 중소벤처기업의 상장전후 경영성과를 비교분석하였다. 기술혁신 벤처기업과 고성장형 중소기업들의 자금조달을 목적으로 하는 중국 창업판시장에서 기업의 상장요건은 상해와 심천 증권거래소의 주시장보다 완화되어 있으며, 상장절차도 간소화되어 있다. 따라서 중국의 많은 기업들이 상장하고자 하며, 상장 경쟁도 매우 치열하다. 그리고 창업판시장에 최초로 상장한 36개 기업의 상장 전후의 경영성과를 살펴본 결과, 자기자본 순이익률 부채비율 영업이익증가율 등 3개 지표는 모두 크게 하락하였으며, 거의 모든 기업에서 이런 현상이 나타났다. 즉, 중국 창업판시장에 상장한 중소벤처기업들의 수익성과 성장성은 상장후 급속하게 하락하였으며, 많은 자금조달로 인하여 안정성만이 개선되어 있었다. 나아가 이러한 현상은 중소벤처기업들이 상장을 위하여 상장전 경영성과를 과대 포장한데서 기인한 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 중국 증권감독관리위원회는 향후 상장기업에 대한 회계심사기준과 심사제도를 강화하여야 할 것이며, 분식회계기업에 대해서는 엄중한 제재조치를 실시하여 건전한 자본시장 풍토를 정착시켜야 할 것이다.
