In this paper, it is indicated that, currently, foundation of small and medium businesses is generally increasing in number, but the establishment of manufacturing companies is very slow. This is because of many factors interfering with promotion of the opening of small and medium businesses such as endless bakruptcies of the businesses and uncertain perspective. Therefore, it will be expected to encourage people to start business and activate establishment of small and medium sized manufacturing companies by improving tax support systems and providing tax support information services for founed companies and foundation supporting companies.

This paper describes the reasons for enterprises to implement the ISO 14001 standard, the definition of a small-and-medium sized enterprise in Taiwan, characteristics of the small-and-medium sized enterprises, the problems faced by the enterprises exporting their products and the implementation of ISO 14001 standard for the small-and-medium sized manufacturing industries in Taiwan.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan to improve the level of acceptance of related technologies and the transition to smart factories of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises by using 'technology readiness' and 'integrated technology acceptance model'. To this end, the research hypothesis was verified by collecting questionnaire data from 130 small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Korea and conducting path analysis. First, optimism affects performance expectations, social influence, and facilitation conditions, innovation affects performance expectations, effort expectations, and social influence, discomfort affects performance expectations, social influence, and facilitation conditions, and anxiety affects effort expectations, social influence and facilitation conditions. has been proven to affect Finally, performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, and facilitation conditions were verified to have a significant positive effect on the intention to accept technology.

The trouble rank of business management of the small-medium manufacturing enterprises in Korea is constituted by that average 28.6% of production management in the worst trouble of business management from 1982 to 1999. The status of production management approaching problem is analyzed for Korean small-medium manufacturing enterprises and it us checked productivity improvement and requirement facts impede productivity improvement. It is expected to contribute much productivity improvement through a new established model of production management system and technique or tool for small-medium manufacturing enterprises in Korea.

There hardly have been support policies for small wholesale vendors or any materials such as proper statistical standards and figures compared to diversity of support policies and size of budget for small and medium manufacturing business. The biggest concern coming from it is that there have never been any policies for small and medium wholesale vendors. This study proposes some ways to improve support policies through investigating the current status of those vendors as their true values haven't been properly recognized, while diverse support systems have been devised for manufacturing business thanks to the traditional industrial development process. According to the study on support policies for domestic and international small and medium wholesale vendors, I realized that those vendors need a policy to ensure them to be promptly adjusted to the rapidly changing distribution environment and to be competitive to access to the global distribution market to finally become hidden champions through systematical operations of small and medium wholesale vendors and implementing educational business through sales management. Therefore, I propose five ways to improve support policies for small and medium wholesale vendors by considering social and economic value, systematizing small wholesalers and scaling small and medium wholesale vendors, reinforcing support for wholesalers, support policies for new online market opening and offline market opening.

Numerous small and medium-sized manufacturing companies have implemented or plan to introduce ERP for their own survival in the highly competitive global market. Despite of increasing number of companies implementing ERP, there has been few research on evaluation of ERP performance in small and medium manufacturers. Thus, in this paper, the impact of ERP implementation on the organizational performance based on Balanced Score Card is investigated and also critical success factors are discovered. The results of analysis show positive relationships between the ERP implementation and organizational performance. This paper suggests some practical implication on the ERP implementation to the practitioners.

본 연구에서는 국내 중소 제조기업을 대상으로 스마트팩토리의 구축요인에 따른 활용 정도를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 스마트팩토리를 기존의 목표와 취지에 맞게 활용하기 위해서 스마트팩토리 도입에 따른 중소 제조기업의 구축요인에 대한 사전에 기업의 특성에 맞는 전략적 검토가 필요하다는 점을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 조직 내 구성원들이 스마트팩토리에 대해 어떻게 받아들이고 수용하느냐 따라 활용의 정도는 차이가 있다는 점을 실증분석을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 중소 제조기업 뿐 만 아니라 많은 기업은 조직 내 구성원들이 스마트팩토리에 따른 변화의 불안감을 갖지 않고, 적극적 참여를 유도하고 이를 통해 스마트팩토리 활용도를 높이기 위해 중요성을 확인할 수 있었다.

It's very important to make an effective and optimized production schedule for the small-to-medium-sized factory which have high-variety low-volume manufacturing properties. And now people say that MES is very useful to make scheduling more effectively. But for small-to-medium-sized factory, it is very difficult to build MES system because of fewer infrastructures in the factory, and more to keep it's continuous maintenance and improvement. Therefore it is more important to systematize the production scheduling generation using simpler and easier tools like EXCEL sheet. And it will be needed a new method to make simple MES construction for more efficient production scheduling. This paper proposes the method which can build simple MES easily using a tool of EXCEL VBA for a small-to-medium-sized factory, and introduces an applied case by the proposed method and EXCEL VBA.

It is an active confrontation as to the environments for information. Unlike the large scale enterprises in those days, hower, many small & medium enterprises especially the enterprises which are engaged in the manufacturing industry-aren't participate in information's rank due to the lack of funds, manpower, insufficient management environments, and manager or staff's lack of cognition as to information. So, this paper make a base of establishment for ISP through the establishment of ERP that is used to management activity for small & medium manufacturing enterprises. A way for small & medium enterprises' ERP construction is SMERP S/W for the small & medium enterprises' ERP package which is offered by the Korea chamber of commerce & industry. And, that is applied to the real management environment.
