  • This study evaluated the mechanical properties and alkali silica reaction of mortar according to the mixing ratio of waste glass. As a result, as the mixing ratio of the waste glass increased, the compressive and flexible strength of the mortar decreased due to the slip of aggregate, and the alkali-silica reaction(ASR) increased. So, it is considered that research is needed to prevent slip and ASR of the waste glass aggregate in order to use the waste glass as a fine aggregate for concrete.

다양한 벽 경계조건을 이용한 정사각형 항구의 흐름구조 예측 (Flow Structure Prediction for a Square Harbour using Various Wall Boundary Conditions)

  • A model harbour with Plan scale of $1.08{\times}1.08m$ is built on a tidal tank using a Froude relationship from a real harbour($432{\times}432m$). Velocity components are measured by a ultrasonic velocity meter and flow structure is then predicted using a 2-D depth integrated hydrodynamic model. In the finite difference model implemented in this study, various wall boundary conditions, i.e. no-slip, free-slip, partial-slip and semi-slip are used to represent turbulent diffusion terms, e.g. ${\partial}^2U_{ij}/{\partial}x^2\;or\;{\partial}^2U_{ij}/{\partial}y^2$. These conditions are focused to investigate their influence on the flow structure along the wall and basin of the harbour with aspect ratio of unity, i.e. Length/Breadth. Numerical experiments are compared with the measurements and used to analyse flow patterns in the basin during tidal cycles. It is shown from the results that no-slip closed boundary condition is the most appropriate method with respect to the location of the eddy centre, although the condition underestimates velocity components along the wall.

엔진맵에 기초한 엔진제어 TCS 슬립제어 알고리듬의 개발 (Development of engine control based TCS slip control algorithm using engine map)

  • A TCS slip control system improves acceleration capability and steerability on slippery roads through engine torgue and/or brake torque control. This research mainly deals with the engine control algorithm via the adjustment of the engine throttle angle. The following new control strategy is proposed and investigated ; the TCS slip controller whose input is the difference between the desired driving wheel speed corresponding to the optimum slip ratio and the actual speed yields the target engine torque and then estimates the throttle angle based on the engine performance curve. Various simulation and hardware-in-the-loop simulation have been carried out. The results show the proposed strategy may compensate for the inherent nonlinearity between variation of the throttle angle and variation of the engine torque and produce better performance than the previous strategies without the engine map, especially in the high speed region.

단상전원에 접속된 3상 유도전동기의 손실분석 (Loss Analysis of Three Phase Induction Motor Connected to Single Phase Source)

  • This paper analyzes the losses of a Steinmetz connection three-phase induction motor which is supplied by a single-phase source. The T-type equivalent circuit which is taken no-load losses into account is used to determine phase converter capacitive reactances at starting and rated speed by using the condition of the minimum voltage unbalance. The starting and the operating capacitor are replaced at the slip of the same voltage unbalance factor points which are depicted using two capacitive reactances. The operation characteristics are investigated by comparing with those of three-phase balanced operation to find the feasibility of single-phase operation. To analyze the losses of this motor, the output power decrease factor(OPDF), the loss ratio(LR), the no load loss ratio(NLLR), the copper loss ratio(CLR), the stator copper loss ratio(SCLR), and the rotor copper loss ratio(RCLR) are defined and simulated in the whole slip range. The simulated results show that OPDF is maintained almost uniformly, LR is low at low speed and high at high speed, CLR is higher !ban NLLR, but CLR varies concavely and NLLR varies convexly at high speed, SCLR is low at low speed and high at high speed, but SCLR varies convexly at high speed, and RCLR is nearly opposite to SCLR.

다판 클러치방식 차동제한장치 개발을 위한 설계인자 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Design Parameters for Development of LSD)

  • A differential case equipped with LSD(limited slip differential) has several advantages over a normal type for rear wheel drive vehicles. Specially, the torque distribution can be done between left and right drive wheel in the state of limited slip differential. Also although LSD types are very various according to operating type, medium and torque distribution, a multi-clutch type is generally applied to rear wheel drive vehicles. So, this study presents the analysis of design parameters for development of a friction plate for multi-clutch type LSD using vehicle road test, the simulation of analytical model and the development of vehicle dynamics model by a benchmark product. According to this investigation, the design parameters which are pre-load of coil spring, friction plate and contact area quantity, friction coefficient and TBR(torque bias ratio) for a friction plate are derived from experiment and simulation and consequently, vehicle dynamics model has been constructed for the development of friction plate for multi-clutch type LSD.

산업 안전을 위한 시각영역에 관한 연구 (A Study of Visual Field for Industrial Safety)

  • Due to the inconsiderateness of human capability and inappropriate arrangement of display and control unit at the industrial site, the human error leads to a various accidents. This study was performed to investigate the visual range at the eye field and stationary field at the various angles with three different visual stimuli of alphabetic character, color slip and light-emitting diode. Three kinds of various alphabetic characters depending on length and breadth ratio (1:1, 3:5, 5:3) and three different colors (red, yellow, green) were used for the stimuli. Twenty-five subjects (11 males and 14 females) participated for this study. The results showed that female had wider visual range than male at the eye field, however no significant difference was found at the stationary field. The light-emitting diode had a widest visual range then color slip and characters are in order at the eye field and stationary field. For the character stimulus, the widest visual range was shown at length and breadth ratio of 1:1. The other ratios (3:5 and 5:3) showed no significant difference. The color of red had a widest visual range on the light-emitting diode, however, the color of yellow showed a widest visual range on the just color slip at the eye field. The result of this study would be valuable in applying to the design of visual display and the panel layout of control and displays in the industrial site.

  • The method to improve the efficiency of a slightly loaded induction motor is suggested. It is based upon the optimal efficiency slip tracking by adjusting the voltage to frequency ratio(V/f). It is adopted the converter-inverter fed induction motor drive system. All the control loops are implemented bh the Z-80 microprocessor. By this method, 10% or more improvement is achieved at a few fraction of the full load.

  • The flash temperature of the cam-roller contacting surface for a marine diesel engine was analysed numerically. The elastohydrodynamic lubrication pressure and film thickness were adopted to get more accurate frictional coefficient, heat flux and temperature distribution. The maximum flash temperature was increased with both the increasing slip ratio of the contacting surfaces and increasing external load. This study tells that the temperature analysis is an indispensable procedure in designing elastohydrodynamic lubrication contacts on which the slip occurs.

  • 이 논문은 냉간 압연공정의 다단 압연기에서 각 롤 간의 슬립 현상에 대한 상태공간 모델을 도출하고, 이를 이용하여 롤 간 슬립 상태 관측기 설계에 관한 연구를 수행한다. 먼저 뉴튼의 운동법칙을 이용하여 각 롤들의 회전 운동 방정식을 1계 비선형 미분 방정식으로 기술한 후, 테일러 급수를 이용하여 임의의 동작점에서 상태공간 방정식으로 선형화한다. 다음에는 선형화된 상태공간 방정식에 기초하여 Gopinath 구성법으로 측정 가능한 구동 롤을 제외한 종동 롤의 회전 각속도를 추정하는 최소차원 상태 관측기를 설계한다. 마지막으로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 상태 관측기로부터 추정된 각 롤 회전각속도와 슬립률의 유용성을 고찰한다.

  • 초장대교 콘크리트 고주탑 시공시에 사용되고 있는 슬립폼 시스템의 상승속도를 결정하는 요소인 초기경화시간은 콘크리트가 거푸집에서 안전하게 빠져나올 수 있는 굳기를 갖게 되는 콘크리트 타설 후 경화시간으로서, 배합 시 단위시멘트량 및 타설시 여러 현장 환경에 크게 영향을 받으므로, 콘크리트 타설 전에 초기경화시간을 정확히 파악하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 따라서 슬립폼 시스템의 안전성 확보 및 콘크리트면의 유지관리 문제가 발생하지 않도록 초기경화시간 결정을 위한 콘크리트 경화정도를 파악하는 기술이 필요하다. 더구나 슬립폼 공법은 연속적인 시공이 이루어지므로 거푸집 탈형 전 콘크리트의 경화정도를 연속적으로 파악할 수 있어야 한다. 초음파를 이용한 기법은 콘크리트면에 초음파를 투과시켜 투과된 신호를 측정 및 분석하는 방법으로 정량적이며 연속적으로 콘크리트의 경화정도를 파악할 수 있다. 특히 표면파 속도를 이용하는 기법은 표면을 따라 전파하는 표면파의 특성을 이용한 것으로서 표면파 속도의 변화를 통해 콘크리트 경화정도를 알 수 있으며, 주탑과 같이 두께가 두꺼운 콘크리트 구조물에 적용이 적합하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 표면파 속도를 이용하여 콘크리트의 경화정도를 추정함으로서 슬립폼 시스템의 상승속도를 결정하는 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 슬립폼 시스템 상승속도와 초기경화시간과의 관계식을 유도하였으며, 표면파 진행문제의 수치해석 결과를 연속웨이블릿변환 하여 표면파 속도를 추정하였다. 이때 탄성파 발생위치와 두 개의 수신점 거리에 따른 추정된 표면파 속도의 정밀도를 조사하였으며, 추정된 표면파 속도와 탄성계수와의 관계를 조사하였다.
