The isothermal reduction on $Pt/MoO_3/SiO_2$ at $50^{\circ}C$ demonstrates that the rate of hydrogen spillover is increased as calciantion temperature increases. That is due to the overlayer formation over the surface of Pt crystallites, investigated by TEM and CO chemisorption. It is known that reaction mechanism of skeletal isomerization of 1-butene into iso-butene is composed of 2 step such as formation of carbonium ion and isomerization of methyl group. It is expected that the increase of i-butene yield after calcination at $250^{\circ}C$ is due to increased rate of hydrogen spillover coming from first, overlayer formation over Pt surface and second, chlorine lessoning from $PtCl_x$ precursor.
Peak bone mass is established predominately during childhood and adolescence. It is an important determinant of future resistance to osteoporosis and fractures to gain bone mass during growth. The issue of low bone density in children and adolescents has recently attracted much attention and the use of pediatric dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) is increasing. The process of interpretation of pediatric DXA results is different from that of adults because normal bone mineral density (BMD) of children varies by age, body size, pubertal stage, skeletal maturation, sex, and ethnicity. Thus, an appropriate normal BMD Z-score reference value with Z-score should be used to detect and manage low BMD. Z-scores below -2.0 are generally considered a low BMD to pediatrician even though diagnoses of osteoporosis in children and adolescents are usually only made in the presence of at least one fragility fracture. This article will review the basic knowledge and practical guidelines on pediatric DXA based on the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) Pediatric Official Positions. Also discussed are the characteristics of normal Korean children and adolescents with respect to BMD development. The objective of this review is to help pediatricians to understand when DXA will be useful and how to interpret pediatric DXA reports in the clinical practice for management of children with the potential to develop osteoporosis in adulthood.
The nasal and zygoma bone are parts of frequently fracturing of facial bones because of anatomically protrusion. Of facial bone fractures, nasal bone is at the high level of incidence rate. But zygoma fracture that anatomical characteristics increase the incidence rate also is occupied considerable part of the facial bone fracture. The outline of face is decided by form of underlying skeletal structure, of that, zygoma plays an important role in. Zygoma is closely attached to surrounding anatomic structure as orbit, maxillary sinus. Aesthetic and functional disturbance are developed by zygoma fracture from trauma, complications, as facial asymmetry, trismus, sensory disturbance, epistaxis, periorbital hemorrhage, diplopia etc, are developed. The patterns of complications following displacement of fractured fragment of zygoma by trauma are slightly different.

The charged clusters or particles, which contain hundreds to thousands of atoms or even more, are suggested to from in the gas phase in the thin film processes such as CVD, thermal evaporation, laser ablation, and flame deposition. All of these processes are also phase synthesis of the nanoparticels. Ion-induced or photo-induced nucleation is the main mechanism for the formation of these nanoclusters or nanoparticles in the gas phase. Charge clusters can make a dense film because of its self-organizing characteristics while neutral ones make a porous skeletal structure because of its Brownian coagulation. The charged cluster model can successfully explain the unusual phenomenon of simultaneous deposition and etching taking place in diamond and silicon CVD processes. It also provides a new interpretation on the selective deposition on a conducting material in the CVD process. The epitaxial sticking of the charged clusters on the growing surface is getting difficult as the cluster size increases, resulting in the nanostructure such as cauliflower or granular structures.
The purpose of this study was to assess the skeletal characteristics of the maxillofacial norms and the interpretation of craniofacial relations in korean adults by applying the Ricketts Analysis. The factors of the applied lateral cephalometric measurements were composed of the 10 factor analysis (Summary Analysis) and 7 internal structures to be suggested by Ricketts. Lateral cephalograms were obtained from 60 subjects over 21 years old, that consisted of 30 males and 30 females with normal occlusion, acceptable profile. The results were as follows : 1. The tables of means, standard deviations in each item and sex were made. 2. The author performed whether there was significance(P<0.05) between the registered male and female's measurement in each item..
Fine structural characteristics of the cardiac muscle and its sarcomere organization in the black widow spider, Latrodectus mactans were examined using transmission electron microscopy. The arrangement of cardiac muscle fibers was quite similar to that of skeletal muscle fibers, but they branched off at the ends and formed multiple connections with adjacent cells. Each cell contained multiple myofibrils and an extensive dyadic sarcotubular system consisting of sarcoplasmic reticulum and T-tubules. Thin and thick myofilaments were highly organized in regular repetitive arrays and formed contractile sarcomeres. Each repeating band unit of the sarcomere had three apparent striations, but the H-zone and M-lines were not prominent. Myofilaments were arranged into distinct sarcomeres defined by adjacent Z-lines with relatively short lengths of $2.0{\mu}m$ to $3.3{\mu}m$. Cross sections of the A-band showed hexagon-like arrangement of thick filaments, but the orbit of thin filaments around each thick filament was different from that seen in other vertebrates. Although each thick filament was surrounded by 12 thin filaments, the filament ratio of thin and thick myofilaments varied from 3:1 to 5:1 because thin filaments were shared by adjacent thick filaments.
This study was carried out to observe the development of the autonomous skeletal development of the Favonigobius gymnauchen. Total length (TL) of larvae 3 days after hatching (DAH) were mean TL of 3.34 mm, with a line-shaped parasphenoid ossification in the cranium and basioccipital ossification in the back. The 10 DAH larvae had a mean TL of 5.20 mm, with the number of caudal vertebrae increasing to 15. The urostyle and two hypural bones in the lower part also began to ossify. The 23 DAH juveniles had a mean TL of 8.47 mm. The pectoral girdle's skeleton was completed as the scapula and coracoid were ossified. The pelvic girdle also fully supported the ventral fin as its ossification was completed. Favonigobius gymnauchen and Tridentiger obscurus showed similar characteristics in terms of the anus location of hatched larvae, number of myotomes, and melanophore distribution during the morphological development of the larvae and juveniles. However, this study confirmed differences in the development of the vertebrae and urostyle bone.
The fine structural characteristics of cardiac muscle cells and its myofibril organization in the orb web spider N. clavata were examined by transmission electron microscopy. Although myofibril striations are not remarkable as those of skeletal muscles, muscle fibers contain multiple myofibrils, abundant mitochondria, extensive sarcoplasmic reticulum and transverse tubules (T-tubules). Myofibrils are divided into distinct sarcomeres defined by Z-lines with average length of 2.0 ㎛, but the distinction between the A-band and the I-bands is not clear due to uniform striations over the length of the sarcomeres. Dyadic junction which consisted of a single T-tubule paired with a terminal cisterna of the sarcoplasmic reticulum is found mainly at the A-I level of sarcomere. Each cell is arranged to form multiple connections with neighboring cells through the intercalated discs. These specialized junctions include three types of intercellular junctions: gap junctions, fascia adherens and desmosomes for heart function. Our transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations clearly show that spider's cardiac muscle contraction is controlled by neurogenic rather than myogenic mechanism since each cardiac muscle fiber is innervated by a branch of motor neuron through neuromuscular junctions.
Objective: A three-dimensional-printed individual titanium plate was applied for maxillary protraction to eliminate side effects and obtain the maximum skeletal effect. This study aimed to explore the stress distribution characteristics of sutures during maxillary protraction using individual titanium plates in various directions and locations. Methods: A protraction force of 500 g per side was applied at forward and downward angles between 0° and 60° with respect to the Frankfort horizontal plane, after which the titanium plate was moved 2 and 4 mm upward and downward, respectively. Changes in sutures with multiple protraction directions and various miniplate heights were quantified to analyze their impact on the maxillofacial bone. Results: Protraction angle of 0-30° with respect to the Frankfort horizontal plane exhibited a tendency for counterclockwise rotation in the maxilla. At a 40° protraction angle, translational motion was observed in the maxilla, whereas protraction angles of 50-60° tended to induce clockwise rotation in the maxilla. Enhanced protraction efficiency at the lower edge of the pyriform aperture was associated with increased height of individual titanium plates. Conclusions: Various protraction directions are suitable for patients with different types of vertical bone surfaces. Furthermore, when the titanium plate was positioned lower, the protraction force exhibited an increase.
This study was investigated to evaluate the morphologic characteristics of openbite and deep bite in Class I malocclusion patients and to find skeletodental factors which contributed to vertical discrepancy in Class I malocclusion. The subjects were consisted of 40 control subjects (male 20, female 20) and 40 Class I openbite patients and 40 Class I deep bite patients. Lateral cephalograms in centric occlusion were taken, traced and digitized lot each subjects. The computerized statistical analysis were carried out with SPSS program. The results were as follows. 1. The pattern of vortical discrepancy in Class I malocclusion is mainly influenced by the skeletodental factors under palatal plane. 2. In openbite group, vortical discrepancy is prominent on anterior lower face and is closely related with skeletal factors such as mandibular form and inclination. 3. In deep bite group, dental factors such as ewe of Spee, vertical height of maxillary molar and skeletal factor such as articular angle were contributed to the vertical discrepancy. 4. The multiple regression analysis showed that overbite in Class I molar relationship was determined mainly by dental factors such as lower incisor to occlusal plane angle, curve of Spee, interincisal angle, and ODI.
