  • High Level Architecture(HLA) is a specification for interoperation among heterogeneous simulators which are executed in a distributed environment. HLA originally allows a number of federates to join in a federation using a single RTI(Run-Time Infrastructure). To interoperate federations without modifying RTI, agent federate, which represents behavior of a federation, can be used. Agent federate can use MOM(Management Object Model) service or agent-user protocol to acquire information of a federation. This paper performs various experiments to measure performance of two architectures. MOM service shows a loss of performance but can be applied without modifying user federates. Experiment results can be used to determine appropriate architecture for interoperation of federations.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the aspect of the single-parent family discourse in the TV documentary. Considering the fact that the normal family myth shows limitations in reality, it is necessary to expand the single-parent family research based on various analysis subjects. For this purpose, the study conducted a narrative analysis of KBS1's documentary 'Gong-gam' (2015), which deals with single daddy and single mom's stories at the same time. Single daddy and single mom are commonly described as overcoming the 'deprived situation'. However, asymmetric description was outstanding in that single daddy is depicted as performing the role of mother as well whereas the single mom appears to be unable to perform even the mother's role. Also, the narrative in the documentary compares broken family with normal family and reproduces the fixed sex role, which considers the problem an individual area. Such description can be seen as a process of persuading them into a "modified normal family myth". However, as the fundamental problem is the absence of new discourse, the role of the media to reproduce and expand the conflicting family discourses will be important.

  • In this paper, TX/RX dual operation microstrip single antenna for satellite communication is designed, analyzed, fabricated and measured. TX/RX frequency ranges are 14.0∼l4.5 GHz, 11.7∼12.75 GHz in respectively and vertical and horizontal polarizations are used for TX and RX. This antenna uses microstrip direct feeding for RX and aperture coupled strip-line feeding for TX and accommodates stacked elements for a high directivity and wide impedance bandwidth. In an analysis of single element, FDTD and MOM was compared and FDTD analysis was more accurate because of the consideration of finite structure and imperfect two ground planes. The proposed structure facilitates generally to an extension of two dimensional array and lower an unwanted radiation by strip-line feed in TX. TX/RX 8${\times}$4 array has a return loss below -10 dB, -14 dB in TX, RX respectively and a gain ranging from 19.1∼20.7 dB in TX, 21.2∼21.8 dB in RX which has a radiation efficiency of 43∼5l %, 52∼57 %.

  • The moving vehicle loads on a bridge deck is one of the most important live loads of bridges. They should be understood, monitored and controlled before the bridge design as well as when the bridge is open for traffic. A MOM-based algorithm (MOMA) is proposed for identifying the timevarying moving vehicle loads from the responses of bridge deck in this paper. It aims at an acceptable solution to the ill-conditioning problem that often exists in the inverse problem of moving force identification. The moving vehicle loads are described as a combination of whole basis functions, such as orthogonal Legendre polynomials or Fourier series, and further estimated by solving the new system equations developed with the basis functions. A number of responses have been combined, some numerical simulations on single axle, two axle and multiple-axle loads, being either constant or timevarying, have been carried out and compared with the existing time domain method (TDM) in this paper. The illustrated results show that the MOMA has higher identification accuracy and robust noise immunity as well as producing an acceptable solution to ill-conditioning cases to some extent when it is used to identify the moving force from bridge responses.

  • In this study, the flexural fatigue performance of concrete beams made with 100% Coarse Recycled Concrete Aggregates (RCA) and 100% Coarse Natural Aggregates (NA) were statistically commanded. For this purpose, the experimental fatigue test results of earlier researcher were investigated using two parameter Weibull distribution. The shape and scale parameters of Weibull distribution function was evaluated using seven numerical methods namely, Graphical method (GM), Least-Squares (LS) regression of Y on X, Least-Squares (LS) regression of X on Y, Empherical Method of Lysen (EML), Mean Standard Deviation Method (MSDM), Energy Pattern Factor Method (EPFM) and Method of Moments (MOM). The average of Weibull parameters was used to incorporate survival probability into stress (S)-fatigue life (N) relationships. Based on the Weibull theory, as single and double logarithm fatigue equations for RCA and NA under different survival probability were provided. The results revealed that, by considering 0.9 level survival probability, the theoretical stress level corresponding to a fatigue failure number equal to one million cycle, decreases by 8.77% (calculated using single-logarithm fatigue equation) and 6.62% (calculated using double logarithm fatigue equation) in RCA when compared to NA concrete.

  • Using in depth interviews with phenomenological method, we explored subjective meaning of a participant assets-building program for low-income families. The research participants are 6 families who consisted of 30 low-income and low-wealth families in participating asset-building program. Findings indicate that we can find out a criteria of classify among low-income families. That are single mom family, single father family and grandparent family, and normal family. It could be useful to evaluate the policy of assets-building.

  • The purpose of the present study is to investigate the experiences of original family and social relationships in single women. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were arranged with 18 single women who met the criteria for the present research purpose. We considered only those responses of the interviewees that are directly related to their experiences of original family and social relationships, where the collected data were analyzed in three steps by methods of thematic analysis. As a result of the analysis, the experiences of original family and social relationships in single women could be grouped into six main clusters of themes which may be labeled as (1) themes centered on 'Family attachment', (2) themes centered on 'Special People' and (3) themes centered on 'Estrange relative relationship'. (4) themes centered on 'Small social life', (5) themes centered on 'Absence of a social relationshipship', (6) themes centered on 'Drive for freedom'. Among the first category of themes of 'Family attachment', we have found three sub-themes such as 'Adult Baby under parents' care', 'Confirm of single life', 'Intricate family relations'. As for the second category of themes 'Special People', three sub-themes have been found including 'I Only Love Mom.', 'Sister friend', 'My lovely nephew or niece'. And for the third category of only one theme 'Estranged relative relationship'. And for the fourth category of themes 'Small social life', there were found four sub-themes which include 'Relationship at work', 'Chat with friends', 'Keep oneself aloof from the opposite sex', 'Singles gather together'. And for the fifth category of themes 'Absence of a social relationshipship', there were found three sub-themes which include 'Alone than meeting', 'Lazism', 'Tight daily lives'. And for the final category of themes 'Drive for freedom', there were found two sub-themes which include 'Caution for attachment', 'Caution for entanglement'. In all, there are sixteen sub-themes to consider. On the basis of these results, we presented some conclusions on the experiences of original family and social relationships in single women. We also presented some implications of these results on population education and future research.

  • This study collected and analyzed big data from 1995 to 2020, focusing on the keywords "unwed mother", "single mother," and "single mom" to present appropriate government support policy directions according to changes in perspectives on unwed mothers. Big data collection platform Textom was used to collect data from portal search sites Naver and Daum and refine data. The final refined data were word frequency analysis, TF-IDF analysis, an N-gram analysis provided by Textom. In addition, Network analysis and CONCOR analysis were conducted through the UCINET6 program. As a result of the study, similar words appeared in word frequency analysis and TF-IDF analysis, but they differed by year. In the N-gram analysis, there were similarities in word appearance, but there were many differences in frequency and form of words appearing in series. As a result of CONCOR analysis, it was found that different clusters were formed by year. This study confirms the change in the perspective of unwed mothers through big data analysis, suggests the need for unwed mothers policies for various options for independent women, and policies that embrace pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting without discrimination within the new family form.

  • This study empirically validate the impacts of WOM information characteristics on the WOM effect in accordance with SNS media due to the increased the WOM role under SNS. The key results showed that the more vivid, negative, and objective WOM information was, the more positive impacts on the intention to adopt information. In addition, the intention to adopt information had a positive impact on the re-WOM intention. Second, there was no significant difference between Facebook and Blog groups regarding the impacts of the WOM information characteristics on the WOM effect. This can be inferred from the fact that consumers recognize all SNS media as a single online medium regardless of their characteristics in the process of accepting and spreading information. Based on these results, this research drew the following implications. It conceptualized the information characteristics factors that influence the online information acceptance process and the relationship with WOM effects by focusing on SNS and high-tech products that are rapidly emerging. This study is also significant because it attempted to expand the characteristics of WOM information and WOM effects to Facebook and blogs, which are SNS media, and proposed a future research direction.
