  • 본 논문은 다수의 신재생 전원, 선로 및 변압기 데이터를 바탕으로 계획 DB 반영 시 추가되는 발전기 보완을 위한 Aggregation을 수행한다. 본 연구에서는 Aggregation 수행방식 중 Collector 방식과 Step-Up-Transformer를 통한 선로 및 발전기 모델링을 하여 사례연구를 진행한다.

Adaptive Time Delay Compensation Process in Networked Control System

  • Networked Control System (NCS) has evolved in the past decade through the advances in communication technology. The problems involved in NCS are broadly classified into two categories namely network issues due to network and control performance due to system network. The network problems are related to bandwidth allocation, scheduling and network security, and the control problems deal with stability analysis and delay compensation. Various delays with variable length occur due to sharing a common network medium. Though most delays are very less and mostly neglected, the network induced delay is significant. It occurs when sensors, actuators, and controllers exchange data packet across the communication network. Networked induced delay arises from sensor to controller and controller to actuator. This paper presents an adaptive delay compensation process for efficient control. Though Smith predictor has been commonly used as dead time compensators, it is not adaptive to match with the stochastic behavior of network characteristics. Time delay adaptive compensation gives an effective control to solve dead time, and creates a virtual environment using the plant model and computed delay which is used to compensate the effect of delay. This approach is simulated using TrueTime simulator that is a Matlab Simulink based simulator facilitates co-simulation of controller task execution in real-time kernels, network transmissions and continuous plant dynamics for NCS. The simulation result is analyzed, and it is confirmed that this control provides good performance.

  • Often a network becomes complex, and multiple entities would get in charge of managing part of the whole network. An example is a utility grid. While the entire grid would go under a single utility company's responsibility, the network is often split into multiple subsections. Subsequently, each subsection would be given as the responsibility area to the corresponding sub-organization in the utility company. The issue of how to make subsystems of adequate size and minimum number of interconnections between subsystems becomes more critical, especially in real-time simulations. Because the computation capability limit of a single computation unit, regardless of whether it is a high-speed conventional CPU core or an FPGA computational engine, it comes with a maximum limit that can be completed within a given amount of execution time. The issue becomes worsened in real time simulation, in which the computation needs to be in precise synchronization with the real-world clock. When the subject of the computation allows for a longer execution time, i.e., a larger time step size, a larger portion of the network can be put on a computation unit. This translates into a larger margin of the difference between the worst and the best. In other words, even though the worst (or the largest) computational burden is orders of magnitude larger than the best (or the smallest) computational burden, all the necessary computation can still be completed within the given amount of time. However, the requirement of real-time makes the margin much smaller. In other words, the difference between the worst and the best should be as small as possible in order to ensure the even distribution of the computational load. Besides, data exchange/communication is essential in parallel computation, affecting the overall performance. However, the exchange of data takes time. Therefore, the corresponding consideration needs to be with the computational load distribution among multiple calculation units. If it turns out in a satisfactory way, such distribution will raise the possibility of completing the necessary computation in a given amount of time, which might come down in the level of microsecond order. This paper presents an effective way to split a given electrical network, according to multiple criteria, for the purpose of distributing the entire computational load into a set of even (or close to even) sized computational loads. Based on the proposed system splitting method, heavy computation burdens of large-scale electrical networks can be distributed to multiple calculation units, such as an RTDS real time simulator, achieving either more efficient usage of the calculation units, a reduction of the necessary size of the simulation time step, or both.

A Systems Engineering Approach to Multi-Physics Analysis of a CEA Withdrawal Accident

  • Deterministic accident analysis plays a central role in the nuclear power plant (NPP) safety evaluation and licensing process. Traditionally the conservative approach opted for the point kinetics model, expressing the reactor core parameters in the form of reactivity and power tables. However, with the current advances in computational power, high fidelity multi-physics simulations using real-time code coupling, can provide more detailed core behavior and hence more realistic plant's response. This is particularly relevant for transients where the core is undergoing reactivity anomalies and uneven power distributions with strong feedback mechanisms, such as reactivity initiated accidents (RIAs). This work addresses a RIA, specifically a control element assembly (CEA) withdrawal at power, using the multi-physics analysis tool RELAP5/MOD 3.4/3DKIN. The thermal-hydraulics (TH) code, RELAP5, is internally coupled with the nodal kinetics (NK) code, 3DKIN, and both codes exchange relevant data to model the nuclear power plant (NPP) response as the CEA is withdrawn from the core. The coupled model is more representative of the complex interactions between the thermal-hydraulics and neutronics; therefore the results obtained using a multi-physics simulation provide a larger safety margin and hence more operational flexibility compared to those of the point kinetics model reported in the safety analysis report for APR1400. The systems engineering approach is used to guide the development of the work ensuring a systematic and more efficient execution.

도심지 도로설계에서 가능교통량과 가상 주행을 통한 최적노선선정 (Optimal Route Location using Possible Traffic Capacity and Virtual Running and Application at Road Design in the City Centre)

  • 본 연구는 가능교통량과 가상주행을 통한 최적후보 노선선정에 군을 선정한 다음 최적 노선 선정에 관한 연구이다. 노선선정은 예비타당성조사, 기본 및 실시설계단계 등을 충분히 검토한 다음 도로를 설계하게 된다. 다양해진 도로이용자의 요구사항은 도로설계를 할 때부터 반영되어야 하나 기존방법은 2차원적인 지형요소를 고려하기 때문에 불규칙한 지형에 대한 적정 설계기준을 포함하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 후보노선을 선정을 위해 가상교통량분석과 주행을 실시하였다. 3차원 자료구축 구조물의 가상도로주행에서 모의관측으로 경관 및 지형 분석을 실시하여 최적노선을 선정하였다. 가상교통량과 3차원 모의관측기법을 통하여 도로건설 후에 미치는 자연환경과 조화되는 경관분석이 가능하고 조망권 차단 등 지역주민들과 마찰이 예상되는 부분에서 객관적인 해석이 가능하였다.

  • PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) is one of innovative manufacturing paradigms which leverages e-business technologies to allow a company's product content to be developed and integrated with all company business process through the extended enterprise. In these days, most construction companies also make an effort to enhance their systems for creating, sharing and managing information to improve business efficiency through entire lifecycle of project execution. Because of different needs, business process and diverse engineering activities such as design, structural analysis, installing simulation, documents and data managements, a new paradigm for construction companies is needed to manage and share the entire workflow, and information in total project lifecycle. In this paper, we conducted user requirement and business process analysis of constructions to design C-PLM system which is a PLM system for effective management of civil project and engineering activities. Also, we implement C-PLM system based on commercial PDM system, and applied it to civil project as case studies.

오류 주입을 이용한 Triple DES에 대한 라운드 축소 공격 (A Round Reduction Attack on Triple DES Using Fault Injection)

  • Triple DES(Data Encryption Standard)는 DES의 안전성을 향상시키기 위하여 2번의 DES 암호화와 1번의 DES 복호화를 수행하는 국제 표준 암호 알고리즘이다. 본 논문에서는 Triple DES에서 수행되는 각각의 DES 알고리즘 중 마지막 라운드를 실행시키지 않도록 오류를 주입함으로써 비밀키를 찾아내는 차분 오류 분석(Differential Fault Analysis, DFA)공격을 제안한다. 제안한 공격 방법을 이용하여 시뮬레이션 결과, 9개 정도의 정상-오류 암호문 쌍을 얻을 수 있으면 $2^{24}$번의 비밀 키 전탐색을 통해 3개의 비밀키를 모두 찾을 수 있었다. 또한, ATmega128 칩에 Triple DES 암호 알고리즘을 실제로 구현하고 레이저를 이용한 오류를 주입함으로써 제안 공격이 오류 주입 대응책이 적용되지 않은 범용 마이크로프로세서 칩에 적용 가능함을 검증하였다.

  • 고성능 마이크로프로세서에서 값 예측기는 한 명령어의 결과를 미리 예측하여 명령들 간의 데이터 종속관계를 극복하고 실행함으로써 명령어 수준 병렬성(Instruction Level Parallelism, ILP)을 향상시키는 기법이다. 본 논문에서는 ILP 프로세서 명령어 수준 병렬성의 성능향상을 위하섞 값을 미리 예측하여 병렬로 이슈하고 수행하는 값 예측기를 비교 분석하여 각 테이블 갱신 시점에 따른 예측기별 평균 성능향상과 예측률 및 예측정확도를 측정하여 평가한다 이러한 타당성을 검증하기 위해 실행구동방식 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 SPECint95 벤치마크를 시뮬레이션하여 비교한다.

  • Recently, the speed of change related with enterprise management is getting faster than ever owing to the competition among companies, technique diffusion, shortening of product lifecycle, excessive supply of market. For the example, the compliance condition (such as delivery date, product quality, etc.) from the ship owner is getting complicated and the needs for the new product such as FPSO, FSRU are coming to fore. This paradigm shift emphasize the rapid response rather than the competitive price, flexibility and agility rather than effective and optimal perspective for the domestic shipbuilding company. So, domestic shipbuilding companies have to secure agile and flexible ship production environment that could respond change of market and requirements of customers in order to continue a competitive edge in the world market. In this paper, I'm going to define a standard shipbuilding production management system by investigating the environment of domestic major shipbuilding companies. Also, I'm going to propose a unified ship production management and system for the operation of unified management through detail analysis of the activities and the data flow of ship production management. And, the system functions for the strategic approach of ship production management are investigated through the business administration tools such as performance pyramid, VDT and BSC. Lastly, the research of applying strategic KPI to the digital shipyard as virtual execution platform is conducted.

플래시 메모리를 사용하는 demand paging 환경에서의 태스크 최악 응답 시간 분석 (Worst Case Response Time Analysis for Demand Paging on Flash Memory)

  • 최근 NAND 플래시 메모리를 데이터뿐만 아니라 프로그램 코드를 저장하기 위한 목적으로 사용하는 실시간 시스템이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 데이터의 순차 접근만을 허용하는 NAND 플래시의 물리적인 특성 때문에, NAND 플래시 메모리 기반의 시스템에서는 일반적으로 shadowing 기법을 통해 프로그램을 수행한다. 그러나 shadowing 기법은 시스템의 부팅 시간을 증가시키고 불필요한 DRAM 영역을 차지한다는 단점이 있다. 이에 대한 대안 중 하나는 demand paging 기법을 활용하는 것이다. 그러나 demand paging 환경에서는 프로그램 실행 도중 임의로 발생하는 page fault 때문에 프로그램의 최악 응답 시간을 예측하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 demand paging 환경에서의 태스크 최악 응답 시간 분석 기법을 제안한다. 분석 기법은 분석의 정확도와 시간 복잡도에 따라 DP-Pessimistic. DP-Accurate으로 나뉜다. 또한 시뮬레이션을 통해 DP-Pessimistic과 DP-Accurate 분석 기법의 정확도를 비교한다.
