DEVS 기반 모델링을 적용한 잠수함의 어뢰회피 성능 분석 시뮬레이션 (A simulation for the analysis of the evasive capability of submarine against a torpedo using DEVS modeling)

  • A simulation for the analysis of the evasive capability of a conventional costal submarine against a light Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) torpedo has been studied. The Torpedo, Submarine Controller, Devoy, and Jammer models of this simulation are analysised and designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and in addition they are modeled Discrete Event System Specification (DEVS). We examine maximum speed, acceleration, countermeasure systems capabilities of a submarine, and sonar range of a torpedo as the factors which affect the evasive capability of the submarine. This paper shows the relationships between those various factors and the submarine's evasive capability as the outcome of the simulation. The simulation models can be applied for simulation based acquisition (SBA) of a submarine system.

  • In modern automobile body manufacturing, the structural adhesive bonding is recognized to one of new joining techniques for the purpose of light weight body and its application scope in the automobile body has been gradually magnified. Specially, the structural adhesives have the advantages of not only enhancing the design flexibility of automobile body, but also improving automobile performances such as stiffness, crashworthiness and durability. In order to evaluate the performance simulation of the automobile body applied with structural adhesives, it is necessary to develop modeling techniques in the structural adhesives in advance. This paper aims to investigate modeling methodology of structural adhesive junctions for body stiffness simulation. Two main modeling points are the element selection for adhesives and the connectivity between adhesives and adherends. Both of the 1D element used in classical modeling and the 3D element which are more accurate are considered for the adhesives, and the congruent and incongruent mesh models of the adherends are compared for connectivity modeling. By applying the several kinds of modeling methodology to the simple structures, the simulation results are compared and some modeling guidelines are obtained.

  • In this paper, a mathematical modeling was developed to simulate 1kW class air cooled Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell(PEMFC) system. The proposed modeling was conducted under SIMULINK based environment. The model ing was developed based on the thermodynamic and chemical equilibrium. The objective is to design and implement the entire fuel cell system model ing including the system controller modeling. The fuel cell process and the control system modeling should have to be connected with each other simultaneously, therefore the two types of modeling influences each other when the system simulator run. The fuel cell modeling libraries are simulated using the SIMULINK under the thermodynamic and chemical equilibrium base. The PID controller application was designed and developed to test the process modeling and verify it. This the prototype development of the fuel cell system to design and test more complicate fuel cell systems, like the residential power generation system. The simulation results was compared to the real PEMFC system performance. We have achieved the reasonable accordance with the Lab test and the simulation results.

  • 기존의 객체지향 통합 모델링 방법은 전쟁게임 모델을 두 계층으로 구분하여 개발할 수 있는데, 상위계층에서는 객체의 추상화된 행위를 모델링하며 하위계층에서는 모델의 세부적인 행위를 표현하게 된다. 이 방법에서는 시뮬레이션 전문가와 군 관련 전문가가 각각의 계층에서 별도로 작업을 할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 통합 모델링을 발전시킨 파라미터 행위 모델링 방법을 이용하여 전쟁 게임 시뮬레이터를 구축할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 제안한 방법에서는 군 관련 전문가 또는 사용자가 모델링 방법에 대하여 별도의 지식이 없이도 새로운 알고리즘이나 전략을 시뮬레이터에 추가하거나 수정할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 제안한 방법의 효용성을 보이기 위해 구현된 해군 군함의 전쟁게임 시뮬레이터를 구체적으로 소개한다.

전달관로 모델링을 이용한 유압제어 시스템의 가변 시간스텝 시뮬레이션 및 해석 (Variable Time Step Simulation and Analysis of Hydraulic Control Systems using Transmission Line Modeling)

  • This paper presents a simulation method using the transmission line modeling to reduce simulation runtime of hydraulic control systems. This method is based on separating the system components each other using the transmission line elements prior to simulation, which leads to divide the simulated system into several subsystems suitable for an even more efficient integration. It can also handle nonlinearities and discontinuities without flag signal when restarting integration. By applying variable integration timestep to parallel hydraulic circuits via parallel processing, it is shown that simulation run-time can be reduced significantly compared with that of Runge Kutta method.

  • PWM 컨버터와 보상회로의 특이한 특성를 이용하는 새로운 이산시간 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 기법이 제안된다. 이러한 기법은 시스템 차수의 감소를 제공하고 수치적인 수렴 문제가 없는 보다 빠른 시뮬레이션을 가능하게 한다. 2단 출력 필터를 갖는 벅 컨버터가 제안된 기법의 유용성을 확인하기 위해 사용된다. 시뮬레이션 결과로부터, 이 방법은 높은 주파수가지 PWM 컨버터 시스템의 응답을 시뮬레이션 할 수 있음을 보여준다.

  • It is a indispensible condition that the simulation and the experiment to improve a efficiency of maglev system. We usually carry out the simulation using the approximate equation, because it is impossible to use a exact modeling such as a practice modeling. This paper proposed a ideal simulation ap to the maglev system modeling by Finite Ele Method. To save the electrical energy, zero p control method is used, and verifying the feasibi FEM dynamic simulation, we make an exper with a TI DSP TMS320F240-based hardware.

  • The internet is already a part of life. It is very convenient and people can do almost everything with internet that should be done in real life. Along with the increase of the number of internet user, various network attacks through the internet have been increased as well. Also, Large-scale network attacks are a cause great concern for the computer security communication. These network attack becomes biggest threat could be down utility of network availability. Most of the techniques to detect and analyze abnormal traffic are statistic technique using mathematical modeling. It is difficult accurately to analyze abnormal traffic attack using mathematical modeling, but network simulation technique is possible to analyze and simulate under various network simulation environment with attack scenarios. This paper performs modeling and simulation under virtual network environment including $NGSS^{1}$ system to analyze abnormal traffic-flooding attack.

  • It is quite necessary that an organization's information network should be equipped with a proper security system based on its scale and importance. One of the effective methods is to use the simulation model for deciding which security policy and mechanism is appropriate for the complex network. Our goal is to build a foundation of knowledge-based modeling and simulation environment for the network security. With this environment, users can construct the abstracted model of security mechanisms, apply various security policies, and quantitatively analyze their security performance against possible attacks. In this study, we considered security domain from several points of view and implemented the models based on a systematic modeling approach. We enabled the model to include knowledge in modular fashion and provided well-defined guidelines for transforming security policy to concrete rule set.

  • This paper shows the method of modeling and simulation of LED driver circuit. Simplified LED modeling is introduced and a driver IC, HV9910, is modeled by implementing the major function blocks. Circuit of buck type converter is constructed for simulation. Simulation includes the internal function of IC and various performances such as LED array current control and dimming. This results show that simulation approach is valid for circuit optimization and reduction of development time.
