초임계 이산화탄소에 의한 멸치어유의 고도불포화지방산 농축 (Concentration of Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids from Anchovy Oil by Supercritical Carbon Dioxide)

  • 멸치어유로부터 EPA와 DHA가 농축된 분획을 제조할 목적으로, 흡착제, 보조용매, 추출압력을 달리하여 초임계 이산화탄소로 추출 분획한 후 추출수율과 지방산 조성을 측정하였다. 추출수율은 흡착제를 사용하지 않은 경우 추출시간의 증가에 따라 급격히 증가하여, 추출 3시간 후에는 63%였지만, 흡착제로 실리카겔과 질산은을 코팅한 실리카겔을 사용한 경우는 완만하게 증가하여 각각 26%와 33%였다. 어유를 질산은으로 코팅한 실리카겔과 혼합하여 추출하였을 때 추출잔류물 분획에 고도불포화지방산들이 농축되었다. 어유를 실리카겔과 혼합하여 초임계 이산화탄소에 보조용매로 hexane, ethyl acetate, ethanol과 함께 추출하였을 때 추출 2시간 후 추출수율은 각각 53.1, 86.3, 88.5%로 초임계 이산화탄소만으로 추출하였을때인 20.0%에 비하여 $2.7{\sim}4.4$배 증가하였다. 보조용매로 ethyl acetate를 사용하였을 때 추출잔류물 분획에서의 EPA와 DHA의 농도가 가장 높았다. 어유를 질산은이 코팅된 실리카겔과 혼합하여 초임계 이산화탄소에 보조용매로 ethyl acetate와 함께 추출하였을 때 추출 3시간 후 추출수율은 207, 276, 345 bar에서 각각 67.3, 76.4, 67.1%로 초임계 이산화탄소만을 사용하였을 때인 33.1%보다 2배 이상 증가하였다. 추출물 분획들의 지방산 조성은 원료 어유에 비하여 모든 추출압력 조건에서 $C14{\sim}C18$의 농도는 증가하였고, EPA와DHA 농도는 큰 폭으로 감소하였다. 추출압력 276 bar에서 추출잔류물 분획의 EPA와 DHA 농도는 각각 28.2%와 38.3%로 원료 어유에 비하여 각각 212%와 236% 농축되었다.

비파괴 분석법을 적용한 결정질 태양전지 모듈의 Snail trail 현상 연구 (Non-destructive Analysis of Snail Trail on Silver Grid Line in PV Module)

  • In recent years, discoloration defects, called as snail trail, have been observed at many crystalline photovoltaic modules after a period of time ranging from several months to several years after initial installation. It has been reported that this phenomenon doesn't impact on the performance of photovoltaic modules, but it can be detected through simple visual inspection. The origin and detailed mechanism for the formation have not been identified. In this study, non-destructive analysis by Raman spectroscopy has been carried out to investigate the origin of this phenomenon. In parallel, destructive analysis by scanning electron microscopt and transmission electron microscopy was also performed in order to confirm the results from non-destructive method. Through the extensive analysis, it was found that the main cause for discoloration is the formations of $Ag_2CO_3$ and $AgC_2H_3O_2$. Detailed mechanism for the formation of these particles was indentified through systematic studies.

  • Organophosphorous compounds can be reduced by zinc metal in acidic solution after alkaline hydrolysis. Although phosphates and phosphonates did not evolve any gas, dithioates did evolve hydrogen sulfide and phosphine, thionates and thiolates did evolve only hydrogen sulfide. The evolved gases were qualitatively detected by means of lead acetate and silver nitrate or mercuric bromide papers and determined by spectrophotometrically. The reduction mechanism and analytical method of dithioates were proposed.

Aldosterone 유도체-고혈압의 음성적 유해와 은침점전기자극의 aldosterone 억제 (Negative noxiousness of aldosterone analogue-induced hypertension and inhibition of aldosterone by silver spike point electrical stimulation)

  • The present study examined that in vivo/vitro test is investigated in normotensive sham-operated rats(NSR) and aldosterone-analogue deoxycorticosterone acetate (DOCA)-salt hypertensive rats(ADHR) and that the antiliypertensive effect was induced by silver spike point(SSP) electrical stimulation at meridian points(CV-3, -4, Ki-12, SP-6, LR-3, BL-25, -28, -32, -52), specifically, such as aldosterone in 24 hour urine analysis from normal volunteer. The heart weight, the tickness of vascular wall, collagen fiber and the systolic blood pressure were significantly increased in ADHR than that in NSR. The required time of PSS-induced resting tone and the phosphorylation of stress-activated protein kinase/c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase(SAPK/JNK) were significantly increased in ADHR than that in NSR. However, the Kv currents were significantly decreased in ADHR than that in NSR. The current of 1 Hz continue type of SSP electrical stimulation significantly decreased in excretion of urine aldosterone from normal volunteer. These results suggest that the development of aldosterone analogue-induced hypertension is associated with changed heart weight, content of collagen fiber, tickness of vascular wall, blood pressure, resting tone, voltage-dependent K+ current(Kv) and phosphorylation of SAPK/JNK, which directly affects blood pressure. Therefore the hypertension is a risk factor on cerebrovascular disease. Moreover, These results suggest that the SSP electrical stimulation, especially current of 1 Hz continue type, significantly regulates excretion of urine aldosterone from volunteer.

은침점전기자극이 $Na^+$, $K^+$ 이온과 $Ca^{2+}$ 이온변동에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Silver Spike Point Low Frequency Electrical Stimulation on Alteration of $Na^+$, $K^+$ and $Ca^{2+}$ Ions)

  • The present study examined that in vivo test is investigated in sham-operated(control group) and aldosterone-analogue deoxycorticosterone acetate (DOCA)-salt hypertensive animals(experimental group) and that the antihypertensive effect was induced by silver spike point(SSP) low frequency electrical stimulation at meridian points(CV-3, -4, Ki-12, SP-6, LR-3, BL-25, -28, -32, -52), specifically, such as diuretic action in 24 hour urine analysis from normal volunteer. The $Na^+$ and $Ca^{2+}$ ions were significantly increased in aldosterone-analogue DOCA-salt hypertensive rats than that in sham-operated rats. However, the $K^+$ ions were significantly decreased in aldosterone-analogue DOCA-salt hypertensive rats than that in sham-operated rats. The current of 1 Hz continue type of SSP low frequency electrical stimulation significantly increased in excretion of urine $Na^+$ and $K^+$ ions from normal volunteer. However, the excretion of $Ca^{2+}$ ion were significantly decreased by SSP electrical stimulation in volunteer. These results suggest that the development of aldosterone analogue-DOCA-salt hypertension is associated with changed $Na^+$, $K^+$ and $Ca^{2+}$ ions of urine. which directly affects blood pressure. Therefore, the hypertension is a risk factor on cardiovascular disease. Moreover, These results demonstrate that the SSP low frequency electrical stimulation, especially current of 1 Hz continue type, significantly regulates $Na^+$, $Ca^{2+}$ and $K^+$ ions from volunteer. Therefore, the SSP low frequency electrical stimulation is a good regulator through a diuretic action of aldosterone-induced hypertension.

  • 금속 아세테이프가 금속으로 열분해하는 반응을 이용하여 템플레이트 안에 잘 정렬된 금속 나노 구조물을 얻는 것은 센서 (sensor), 분리 막(separation), 저장 장치(storage), 에너지 전환 장치 (energy conversion)에 응용이 가능하다. 실버 아세테이트와 팔라듐 아세테이트에서 순수 실버와 팔라듐 나노 구조의 제조 및 형태의 차이를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 나노 입자의 크기와 활성화 에너지가 이에 영향을 주는 것으로 확인할 수 있었다. 금속 나노 구조의 확인 및 나노입자의 크기와 활성화 에너지를 분석 관찰하기 위해 DSC, TG, XRD, FE-SEM 등을 이용하였다.

양배추 Peroxidase의 포도당 분석에의 이용 (Application of cabbage Peroxidase for Glucose Assay)

  • Cabbage contained high peroxidase activity among tested plant sources. The cabbage peroxi-dase can replace horseradish peroxidase to assay glucose with glucose oxidase. The amount of glucose can be determined quantitatively by glucose oxidase-cabbage peroxidase. The opti-mum pH and temperature for enzymatic glucose determination by glucose oxidase-cabbage peroxidase were 6.0 and 35-45$^{\circ}C$ respectively. The glucose assay was inhibited by addition of various metal salts such as mercuric chloride lead acetate silver nitrate ammonium molyb-date sodium tunstate and cupric sulfate. The relationship between absorbance and amount of glucose was linear up to 8.33 mM glucose in the assay mixture under the assay conditions.
