In this paper, a quasi-sliding mode (QSM) control with load observer is discussed for field-oriented induction motor speed drive. The proposed QSM control, which is defined in the discrete time domain and act with the load torque observer eliminating impacted load torque, restricts the bound of chattering within specified band. With this strategy, we can obtain fast dynamics without overshoot and robustness to parameter variation and disturbance. The proposed scheme is verified by digital simulation.

In this paper, we discuss the development of monitoring system with data process equipment which transfers data from Remote Terminal Unit(RTU) to monitoring computer. The RTUs sense temperature, pressure and PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) nodes conditions of scrubber in semiconductor manufacture processing. The data Process equipment is connected every RTU and a monitoring computer through serial communication. This equipment receives informations from RTU, process data, and transfers them to monitoring computer. To avoid congestion in data communication, task scheduling algorithm used RT O/S(Real-Time Operating System) is embedded in ROM which is a part of data Process equipment.

무선 센서 네트워크(Wireless Sensor Network) 환경에서의 작고 상이한 많은 센서들은 물리적 공간에서 서로 통신하며 끊임없이 데이터 스트림을 생성한다. 이런 센서는 측정 데이터와 센서를 표현하는 메타데이터로 구성되어 있다. 메타데이터는 센서의 측정 간격, 위치, 타입, 측정 단위 등의 중요한 정보를 내포하고 있다. 무선 센서는 메타데이터를 관리하기 위한 명확한 표준안의 제시 없이 독자적인 기준을 적용함으로써, 상이한 센서 간에 데이터 수집 및 통합에 어려움이 뒤따른다. 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 상이한 센서 간 메타데이터를 효율적으로 통합, 관리하기 위해 OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium)에서 제시한 SensorML(Sensor Model Language)을 기반으로 상이한 메타데이터를 표준화된 형식으로 표현하고, 이를 토대로 메타데이터 관리 시스템을 설계한다.

웹 서비스는 표준화된 XML 메시지를 통하여 네트워크에 연결된 기계간에 상호작용 위하여 고안된 분산 컴퓨팅을 지원하는 기술이다. 일반적으로 웹 서비스를 구성하는 프로토콜 중 SOAP은 현재 웹 서비스의 메세징 프레임웍을 정의하는 프로토콜의 표준으로 사용되고 있지만 REST의 경우 전송방식이 개발에 용이하고 사용이 편리하여 앞으로 구축이 활발해질 전망이다. 또한 SRW/U, OAI-PMH는 웹 기반 정보검색을 표준화된 방식으로 수행하도록 규정하는 웹 서비스 프로토콜이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 서비스의 다양한 프로토콜에 대한 기술을 소개하고 이에 대한 비교 분석을 통하여 장단점을 살펴본다.

A human being as a client has been understood only through a western cultural view so far, now we put forth efforts to set up the concept which is suitable for our korean nursing situation. This paper was reviewed to discover Korean behavior pattern through the concept of the human being in Korean traditional thoughts to keep in pace with above idea and develope the stem of the nursing knowledge. Behavior pattern usually has two aspects, the one is unconscious behavior which conform to old custom and the other is conscious one which abide by a conventional rule. The former was considered through the concept of human being in Tan-kun mythodology, Divination, Tong-hak (Cheondoism) and the latter was Buddism, Confucianism, Sung-ri hak (Human nature and natural Laws), Sil-hak (The rule of Heaven philosophy). Through these traditional thoughts, we can lead Humanity, Present-oriented, Family-focused, Ranking-centered, Fatalism, Projection in Korean behavior pattern and unconscious behavior correspond to the Naturalistic human being, conscious to Societic human being as well. Even though Korean behavior patterns were changed to the times, we found that Korean natural characteristics were remained in the of unconscious-conscious behavior. This point must be considered for caring a client better than anything else in our nursing situiation.

Due to a major contingency, the congestion of the transmission may happen in power systems. In order to manage the congestion problem, load curtailment is one of the ways to resolve the problem. It is essential that the systematic and effective mechanism for the load shedding be developed. In this paper, the load shedding algorithm using the linear programming for the congestion problems by a major contingency is proposed. The simulations of the proposed algorithm are performed for the power system of Korea and their results are presented.

무선 센서 네트워크(Wireless Sensor Network)는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 구현을 위한 기반 네트워크로 초경량, 저전력의 센서들로 구성된 무선 네트워크이다. 센서노드에서 센싱된 데이터는 싱크노드에 의하여 수집되어 사용자에게 제공된다. 이런 환경에서 서비스마다 다른 정보교환 방법을 사용하는 것은 사용자들에게 불편함을 주므로 사용자와 서비스 간의 원활한 정보공유 및 교환방법을 위한 표준화된 식별 체계가 필요하다.

When a homothallic ascomycete Aspergillus nidulans is exposed to visible light, cleistothecial development is inhibited. The light response of development in A. nidulans implies the existence of delicate regulation process including reception and translocation of light signaling and determination of development. Previously, mutants that could develop cleistothecia even in the presence of relatively intensive visible light were isolated and several complementation groups were identified. A gene that was able to complement the silA98 mutation, which was responsible for preferred cleistothecia development under visible light, was isolated from AMA-NotI genomic library. The silA gene retained in the 4.3 kb recovered genomic library DNA has an open reading frame (ORF) consisted of 2,388 bp nucleotides, interrupted by 3 introns and consequently encoding 795 amino acids. The putative SilA carries a ${Zn_2}{Cys_6}$ binuclear cluster motif at N terminus and shows high amino acid sequence similarity to Aro80p of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Deletion mutants of silA showed a strong induction of sexual development under visible light, indicating that SilA is involved in the negative regulation of sexual development in response to the light.
