Medical signal processing requires noise and interference-free inputs for precise segregation and classification operations. However, sensing and transmitting wireless media/devices generate noise that results in signal tampering in feature extractions. To address these issues, this article introduces a finite impulse response design based on a two-level transpose Vedic multiplier. The proposed architecture identifies the zero-noise impulse across the varying sensing intervals. In this process, the first level is the process of transpose array operations with equalization implemented to achieve zero noise at any sensed interval. This transpose occurs between successive array representations of the input with continuity. If the continuity is unavailable, then the noise interruption is considerable and results in signal tampering. The second level of the Vedic multiplier is to optimize the transpose speed for zero-noise segregation. This is performed independently for the zero- and nonzero-noise intervals. Finally, the finite impulse response is estimated as the sum of zero- and nonzero-noise inputs at any finite classification.

Degradation of communication quality is due to transmission error rather than quantization noise when DPCM signal is transmitted over a heavily noise channel. The communication quality can be improved by employing an error correcting code to the DPCM signal transmission over such a channel. We considered both quantization noise and transmission error simultaneously in evaluating the signal to noise ratio. To efficiently improve the signal to noise ratio, we analyze the unequal symbol error probability of convolutional code, and encoded to more protect significant symbols from channel errors than least ones, so that the signal to noise ratio is improved. We derived related formulas and also made computer simulations.

Electrocardiogram(ECG) signal noise as well as conducting other bio-signal measurement were generated. It was intened to enhance the accuracy of cadiac disease diagnosis with removing signal white-noise. Sampling signal was made with generating white-noise. The noise were removed using wavelet transforms and thresholding. Removed noise were compared numerical using SNR(signal to noise ratio). The results compared SNR showed that SURE method was 5.931, 4.9301 in 3, 5dB noise, uninversal was 3.6590, 1.9698 in 7, 9dB noise. De-noising by Thresholding removed noise effectively. ECG signal is expected to improve the accuracy of cadiac desease dianosis.

This paper proposes a repeat-back jamming signal detection scheme that utilizes a combined pseudo random noise signal that is effective for processing a global positioning system (GPS) repeat-back jamming signal with the early minus late phase scheme to alleviate any existing multipath signal detection. The proposed scheme uses the combined pseudo random noise signal to treat repeat-back jamming signals like similar multipath signals and can effectively detect a repeat-back jamming signal by applying the early minus late phase scheme to a combined pseudo random noise signal. Through a Monte-Carlo simulation, the detection probability of the proposed scheme is better than the one of the conventional scheme under low jamming to signal power ratio.
PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is about noise which is generated from roads and is consist of irregular frequency variation from low frequency to various band. The existing methods of noise reduction are sound barrier that uses insulation material and absorbing material or have applied passive technology of noise reduction by devices. The total frequency band is needed to apply active noise control. METHODS : In this study applies to the field of road traffic environment, signal processing controller and various analog signal input/output, the amplifier module is based on parallel-core embedded processor designed. DSP performs the control algorithm of the road traffic noise. Noise sources in the open space performance of evaluation were applied. In this study, controller of active signal processor was designed based on the module of audio input/output and main controller of embedded process. The controller of active signal processor operates noise reduction algorithm and performance tests of noise reduction in inside and outside environment were executed. RESULTS : The signal processing controller with OMAP-L137 parallel-core processors as the center, DSP processors in the active control operations dealt with quickly. To maximize the operation speed of an object and ARM processor is external function keys and display for functions and evaluating the performance management system was designed for the purpose of the interface. Therefore the reduction of road traffic noise has established an electronic controller-based noise reduction. CONCLUSIONS : It is shown that noise reduction is effective in the case of pour tonal sound and complex tonal sound below 500Hz by appling to Fx-LMS.

Measurement of noise is not only to know the information of acoustic pressure but to assess human response to noise. To find human response to transportation noise through the laboratory study we have to measure and reproduce noise. The method of noise reproduction is largely divided into monaural and binaural techniques. But human fundamentally hears sound through both ears, referred as binaural hearing. Binaural signal is different from monaural signal because it includes more information of physical phenomena like acoustical reflection, diffraction and refraction. Especially head and pinna play an important role in perceiving change of signal origin. So, the amplitude of binaural signal is higher than that of monaural signal and spectrum of both signals is discriminated. Most of assessment and regulation of transportation noise are, however, based on monaural measurement techniques. The quantitative difference between monaural and binaural measurement is investigated in this study. Comparison on several transportation noisesshows defect of information in monaural measurements.

Active noise control (ANC) is a method of cancelling a noise signal in an acoustic cavity by generating an appropriate anti-noise signal via canceling loudspeakers. The continuous progress of ANC involves the development of improved adaptive signal processing algorithms, transducers, and DSP hardware. In this paper, the convergence behavior and the stability of the FxLMS algorithm in ANC systems with real-time implementation is proposed. Specially, The advanced DSP H/W with dual core(DSP+ARM) and API(application programming interface) S/W programming was developed to improve the real-time implementation performance under the FxLMS algorithms of input noise such as road noise environment. The experimental results are found to be in good agreement with the theoretical predictions.

On the research field for speech signal, neural network mainly uses for the category classification in speech recognition and applies to signal processing. Accordingly, this paper proposes a noise reduction system using a time-delay neural network, which implements the mapping from the space of speech signal degraded by noise to the space of clean speech signal. It is confirmed that this method is effective for speech degraded not only by white noise but also by colored noise using the noise reduction system, which restores the amplitude component of fast Fourier transform.

The audio and image signal are corrupted by various noises in signal processing, many studies are being accomplished to restore those signals. In this paper, the algorithm is proposed to remove additive Gaussian noise and impulse noise at one dimension signal like an speech signal. The algorithm is composed to remove Gaussian noise after removing impulse noise. And the method using wavelet coefficient accumulation is used to remove the Gaussian noise, and the median filter based on element deviation is applied to remove the impulse noise. Also we compare existing methods using SNR(signal-to-noise ratio) as the standard of judgement of improvemental effect.

This paper addresses the problem of signal acquisition with a sparse representation in a given orthonormal basis using fewer noisy measurements. The authors formulate the problem statement for randomly measuring with strong signal noise. The impact of white Gaussian signals noise on the recovery performance is analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for the reasonable design of the measurement matrix. With the idea that the measurement matrix can be adapted for noise suppression in the adaptive CS system, an adapted selective compressive sensing (ASCS) scheme is proposed whose measurement matrix can be updated according to the noise information fed back by the processing center. In terms of objective recovery quality, failure rate and mean-square error (MSE), a comparison is made with some nonadaptive methods and existing CS measurement approaches. Extensive numerical experiments show that the proposed scheme has better noise suppression performance and improves the support recovery of sparse signal. The proposed scheme should have a great potential and bright prospect of broadband signals such as biological signal measurement and radar signal detection.
