Differential gear case와 피니언 샤프트 체결을 위한 핀 압입 장치설계 및 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Measurement of Pin Press-Fit Device for Fastening Differential Gear Case and Pinion Shaft)

  • The differential gear system is a device designed to distribute the driving force of both vehicle wheels and control the rotational speed when the vehicle turns on a curve. The differential device consists of a differential gear case, a ring gear, and a pressure ring. A differential pinion gear and side gear are mounted on the differential pinion shaft inside the differential gear case. In this study, a pin press-fitting device that mounts the pinier gear and side gear to the differential pinion shaft in the differential gear case was designed, and a jig device for pin press-fitting using servo press was developed. In addition, by precisely measuring the pin press-in load and press-in distance according to the pin hole diameter of the differential gear shaft, the optimization of the pin pressin process was established.

박육직교축 치차의 설계에 관한 기초적 연구 (Study on the Design of Thin Intersected Axe Gear)

  • The various configuration of thin-shaped bevel gears are used usually for such as main reduction gear of the hovercraft. But the reasonable and concise guide to thedesign of the se bevel gears is not yet obtained, since the tooth of bevel gear has complex form. The purpose of these investigation is to be establish the design guide and to propose the desirable configuration form for thin-shaped straight bevel gear. In this report, the desirable configuration is examined experimentally by clearing up the effect of web and rim thickness, rim support condition upon the load distribution and root stress distribution along the tooth trace. The results are summarized as follows. (1) The crowning of tooth trace exerts a significant effect on the root stress distribution of thin-shaped bevel gear. (2) As the desirable configuration of the thin-shaped bevel gear, it is to be recommended that the rim is supported at the heel side of tooth trace. (3) But, as special type, it is desirable that the rim is supported at the toe side.

유압식 차동제한장치의 유동 및 토크해석 (Flow and torque analysis of hydraulic limited slip differential system)

  • The hydraulic LSD which uses the principle of gear pump is packed with viscous oil in tight container. When a slip occurs on one wheel, the hydraulic LSD generates torque caused by high oil pressure in the container. In this study, two dimensional(2-D) side pinion gear model was developed for hydraulic LSD. Using that model the flow analysis was conducted to preestimate pressure distributions of the side pinion gear according to the variations in the design factors such as oil viscosity, gear gap and rpm. Then, applying the obtained pressure distributions on the side pinion gear, finite element analysis was conducted to evaluate the torque characteristics. From the analysis results, the torque characteristics according to the design factor variations were evaluated.

무인기용 착륙장치 측력 모델링 및 지상활주 제어기 설계 (Side Force Modeling of Landing Gear and Ground Directional Controller Design for UAV)

  • 무인항공기의 자동이착륙을 성공적으로 수행하기 위해서는 자동 지상활주 제어는 반드시 설계되어야 하는 중요한 부분이다. 이러한 지상활주 제어기를 설계하기 위해서는 정확하고 신뢰도 높은 착륙장치 모델은 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 착륙장치 모델링을 완성하기 위해서 특별히 착륙장치 측력 모델링을 수행하였다. 조향각 명령을 포함한 Cornering Angle을 계산하여 측력을 모델링하였다. 그리고 모델링된 착륙장치 모델을 포함한 비선형 6자유도 시뮬레이션 환경을 이용하여, 항공기의 바람벡터 방향인 Course Angle 오차를 해소하기 위한 전륜 조향(Nose Wheel Steering)과 러더 조향(Rudder Steering)을 동시에 이용하는 자동 지상활주 제어기를 설계하였다. 설계된 지상활주 제어기를 동일하게 적용하여, 착륙장치 모델을 포함한 시뮬레이션 결과와 실제 무인기를 이용한 자동 지상활주 시험 결과를 비교하였고, 이로써 착륙장치 측력 모델링과 지상활주 제어기의 정확성을 입증하였다.

강소성 유한요소법의 역추적기법을 활용한 차동사이드기어의 스플라인 성형에 관한 연구 (Preform Design in forging of Spline of Side Gear by the FEM)

  • Differential side bevel gears have been produced by machining process, but recently cold forging process for the bevel gear is under development in domestic industry. This study presents the possibility to form not only bevel gear but also spline gear at the same time using the experiment and numerical analysis. The preform shape is designed to form both bevel gear and spline gear simultaneously by the backward tracing scheme of the rigid-plastic finite element method(FEM). The experimental results confirm that the numerically-designed preform is satisfactory to form both bevel gear and spline gear. It is noted that the backward tracing scheme is helpful in designing preforms.

선미식 안강망 어구의 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of the Stern Stow Net)

  • Because stow net being used in now is doing throwing net and hauling net through a ship's side, the work is very complicated and the fishing boat needs many seamen and it could cause a loss of lives and ship in stormy weather. We are now using small mesh size 36~500mm and it even catches young fish, so we call it the fishing gear of resource reduction type.Therefore we must make manpower reduction in automatic operation, safe operation of throwing net and hauling net in the stern and the stern-typed stow net of resource management using large mesh. And we performed three-typed model tests to examine the fishing gear. The obtained results are as follows;1. The fishing gear being used in the ship's side type stow net has inappropriate standard and arrangement of the net, resistance increase of the fishing gear and frequent breakdown of the net.2. To supplement the fault of A-typed stow net, we schemed fishing gear developed as both B-type(12-seamed net) and C-types(8-seamed net) of the stern-typed stow net. 3. In model tests, C-typed model net(mesh size 40~1,600mm) was proved good fishing gear because the resistance in accordance with the flowing speed was comparatively small and it's mouth area was broad. 4. A-typed stow net had the spreading device attached to side panel of the net, but the stern-typed stow net had the spreading device consisted of 4 lines far behind about 6m from side panel of the net mouth. In the flowing speed 2knot, the spreading condition of fishing gear was proved batter than the former.

고조파 조절기 형상이 자석 기어의 코깅 자기력에 미치는 영향 분석 (Influence of Harmonic Modulator Shape on the Cogging Force of Magnetic Gear)

  • The reduction ratio of the magnetic gear is determined by the ratio of the number of poles between the high-speed permanent magnet layer and the low-speed permanent magnet layer. In general, it is known that the greater the least common multiple of both poles, the smaller the torque ripple called by cogging of the magnetic force generated in the magnetic gear. However, little is known about the effect of the harmonic modulator that filters the magnetic field in the magnetic gear to magnetically couple the high-speed side and the low-speed side except for the number of poles. In this study, torque ripple characteristics according to changes in modulator shape such as opening ratio and tooth thickness are analyzed using a finite element analysis tool.

중층 트롤 어구의 망구 형상 해석 (Analysis of the Net Mouth Shape for a Midwater Trawl Gear)

  • 본 연구에서는 실물 어구를 이용한 해상실험을 통하여 예망 중인 어구의 망구 형상을 해석하기 위해서 예망 속도, 어구의 저항, 전개판의 간격, 망고 등을 계측ㆍ분석하였다. 또한 망구 형상을 이론적으로 계산하기 위해서 망구의 형상을 지배하는 뜸줄, 발줄 및 옆줄의 모양을 현수곡선으로 간주하고 수학모텔을 기술하여 수치해석 하였고, 이 결과를 실제 측정된 값과 비교하여 모텔의 타당성을 검토하였다. 본 실험에 대한결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 선속의 변화에 따라 크게 변하는 요소로는 장력과 망고였고, 끌줄 길이의 변화에 민감하게 반응한 것은 어구 수심과 전개판의 간격이었다. 2. 계측된 트롤 어구의 상태량을 토대로 뜸줄 및 옆줄의 형상을 수치해석한 결과, 선속이 증가함에 따라 뜸줄 및 발줄의 폭과 옆줄의 높이는 감소하였고, 뜸풀 및 옆줄 중앙부의 처짐 정도는 증가하였다. 3. 예망속도에 따른 망고변화에 대하여 수치해석한 결과와 실제 실험에서 얻은 데이터를 비교한 결과, 비교적 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 4. 수치해석한 결과로부터 망구의 형상을 추정한 결과, 선속이 증가함에 따라 횡축으로 긴 직사각형의 형상이 나타났으며, 횡축 및 종축 모두 크기가 감소하였다.

내접치차의 굽힘강도에 관한 연구-피지점 부근의 응력상태 파악을 포함하여- (A Study on the Bending Strength of Internal Gear-With investigation of Stress State around Pitch Point-)

  • When designing an internal gear. the bending strength around pitch point as well as that at tooth root fillet should be considered because the bending stress around pitch point may occur as high as that at tooth root fillet. In this study, including stress state around pitch point, the bending strength (tensile side and compressive side) of internal gear tooth is investigated by the use of the finite element method(FEM) with regarding many influencing factors of cutter and gear geometries. Then, the critical sections around pitch point and at tooth root fillet are determined, and the simple formulae based on nominal stresses(bending, compressive, and shear) are derived for the calculations of actual stresses as the functions of tooth thicknesses and radii of curvatures of involute and fillet curve at those critical sections. The stresses calculated by the formulae agree well with those by the FEM. And the bending stresses around pitch point and at tooth root are easily estimated by the use of those formulae, therefore, those formulae are useful for the purpose of the design or the bending strength estimation of internal gear.

원통형 웜기어의 접촉선 해석 (Tooth Durability Evaluation of n Cylindrical Worm Gear by Contact Line Analysis)

  • Applying the conjugate contact condition, contact lines of a cylindrical worm gear has been calculated. The characteristics of tooth contact were analyzed and the pitting resistance were also assessed. It has been verified that: i) the length of contact is shortest on the 1st tooth of the front region, ii) the contact region is more narrow in the recess side than in the access side, iii) the contact region is more narrow in worm than in worm wheel. Hence, the pitting resistance is weakest in the recess side of the 1st contacting worm tooth.
