A Basic Structural Design for large Floating Crane (대형 해상크레인의 구조 기본 설계)

  • This paper describes basic structural design for the large floating crane barge of fixed undulation type. Structural analysis is performed to divide two parts because crane barge is composed two parts, crane part of jib boom back stay and back tower and barge part to support crane part. The structural strength for jib boom structure members are in compliance with JIS B 8821 and scantling of all barge structural members are in compliance with the requirement of KR (Korean Register of Shipping) Steel Barges and Rules for Classification of Steel Ships. For the structural analysis of large floating crane, MSC/NASTRAN & MSC/PATRAN software is used.

  • 운송 컨테이너의 식별자를 추출하고 인식하는 것은 컨테이너 식별자들의 크기나 위치가 정형화되어 있지 않고 외부의 잡음으로 인하여 식별자의 형태가 훼손되어 있기 때문에 어렵다 된 논문에서는 이러한 특성을 고려하여 컨테이너 영상에 대해 Canny 마스크를 이용하여 에지를 검출하고, 검출된 에지 정보를 이용하여 수직 블록과 수평 블록을 추출하여 컨테이너의 식별자 영역을 추출한다. 추출된 컨테이너의 식별자 영역에서 히스토그램 방법과 윤곽선 추적 알고리즘을 이용하여 개별 식별자를 추출한다. 컨테이너의 개별 식별자 인식은 ART1을 개선하여 지도 학습 방법과 결합한 개선된 신경망을 제안하여 적용한다. 실험 결과에서는 제안된 컨테이너 식별자 추출 린 인식 방법이 다양한 컨테이너 영상에 대해 효율적인 것을 보인다.

  • Recently, research has been actively conducted for getting interested in unit module housing. However, the domestic unit modular housing research in the early stages yet, so the major process for research is lacking. Explore all these reasons fit with domestic unit housing development this paper, focusing on the process of shipping cargo by truck, transport unit module was studied. The purpose of this paper is to present new ideas and derive the direction of the development of the equipment safely and effectively fixed to the unit module of the transport unit module that will be helpful in the development of the equipment required for the transport process of the next unit module.

  • 조선 프로젝트는 일반적으로 많은 블록 공정들을 거쳐 완성된다. 하나하나의 블록들이 일정에 따라 완성되면 다음 단계의 공정을 위한 플랜트로 이동하게 되는데 이러한 공정에 따른 블록 수송을 원활하게하기 위해 블록 수송계획을 세운다. 블록 트랜스포터는 블록 수송을 위한 주요 장비인데 트랜스포터의 일정 계획은 계획된 조선 프로젝트 완성을 위한 전체적인 일정 관리에 매우 중요한 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 트랜스포터의 일정계획 문제를 0-1 정수계획 모형으로 정식화하여 최적일정계획을 수립하는 방법을 제안하였다.

  • 부산항에서 환적되어 일본으로 향하는 화물을 대상으로 각 일본항만까지의 해상운송에 지역별 JR(Japan Rail) 컨테이너센터까지의 내륙운송을 합한 이동경로와 비용에 관한 측면을 조사하여 이를 시나리오 분석을 이용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 일본을 네 개의 지역으로 나누어 일본의 항만을 큐슈, 동부, 중부, 관서지역으로 구분하였으며, 일본 주요대형항만과 중소형항만을 비교하여 효율적인 운송루트를 찾는 것에 중점을 두고 분석을 수행하였다.

  • KEPCO signed up with LS CABLE as a contractor for HVDC submarine cable construction in February 2009. The desk research has been completed in may 2009. Also, Cable route and the protection method will be selected by November 2009. The tentative cable route between Jindo and Jeju which is consisted of sea farms and shipping route zone will reach almost 105km. The oceanographic survey for the selection of protection method will be carried out and the survey lists are consisted of MBES, SSS, CPT, ADSP. The protection methods such as burial, Concrete Mattress, UP Pipe, Rock Berm will be selected as per each condition of sea area after the oceanographic survey is completed. Kepco has developed variable methods based on the maintenance experience for HVDC submarine cable between HAENAM and JEJU. Based on the such a accumulated know-how, it can be expected for the confidence and stability of the 2nd HVC project to be improved.

  • Chipping is an unavidable phenomean in the slot grinding process of hard and brittle materials. However,it should be reduced for the improvement of surface integrity in the manufacture of optical and semiconductor components. Electrolytic In-process Dressing (ELID) technique for metal bonded superabrasive grinding wheel has been developed for mirror surface grinding of hard and brittle materials. Electrically dressed wheel surface has sharply exposed abrasives and results in lower grinding force, higher grinding efficiency in grinding. The paper deals with a newly developed method for slot grinding using ELID and was implemented to improve grooved surface quality and decreases chipping size on the edge of the groove. As a result, we accomplished shipping-free grooves and obtained the clear ground sufaces on glass and tungsten carbide.

  • Recently, the concept of automation is widely in shipping and unloading materials using the overhead crane for the enhanced productivity. In this regards, we designed an overhead crane that can be operated by operated by computer control system and installed this system at KAERI. In this paper, we introduce algorithms to find the 3D position, diameter, width, and rotated angle of objects such as drum, coil, and container. And the performance of the presented algorithms is tested using drum and container. The result will be useful for positoning grapple device such as spreader to objects in order to automatically grasp them.

  • It is conducted to analyze vibration loads on KSR-III(KSR: Korea Sounding Rocket) and its major segments during their ground transportation and various handling process. These loads may be different from the real flight environment. Inadequate assessment of these loads can cause not only local damages on the rocket system but also the critical problem like flight mission failure. Therefore, transportation and handling loads must be considered during design and attenuated to ensure that the rocket structural damage does not occur. This work is concerned with the generation of criteria and prediction of transportation and handling loads for KSR-III. The results show that the shipping container is well designed to satisfy the design requirements. The maximum vibration level recorded during whole transportation and handling for KSR-III is less than 2g, the criteria of KSR-III movement condition.
