The present faunistic study, on the marine harpacticoids of Chindo Island, Korea was based on the materials collected from various habitats during the periods from October 23-24 in 1993and July 23-25 in 1994. As a result of examining the specimens, 9 species or subspecies of 6 families were identified , of which 6 species or subspecies were newly recorded from Korea : Tachidius (Tachidius) discipes Giesbrecht, 1881 : T.(Neotachidius) triangularis Shen and Tai, 1963 ; Scutellidium longicauda acheloides Ito, 1976 ; Alteutha depressa (Baird, 1837) ; Amonardia normani (Brady, 1872) ; Onychocamptus bengalensis (Sewell, 1934).

A thermal postbuckling analysis is presented for a moderately thick rectangular plate subjected to uniform or nonuniform tent-like temperature loading and resting on an elastic foundation. The plate is assumed to be simply supported on its two opposite edges and the two side edges remain free. The initial geometrical imperfection of the plate is taken into account. The formulation are based on the Reissner-Mindlin plate theory considering the first order shear deformation effect, and including plate-foundation interaction and thermal effects. The analysis uses a mixed Galerkin-perturbation technique to determine the thermal buckling loads and postbuckling equilibrium paths. Numerical examples are presented that relate to the performances of perfect and imperfect, moderately thick plates resting on Pasternak-type or softening nonlinear elastic foundations from which results for Winker elastic foundations follow as a limiting case. Typical results are presented in dimensionless graphical form.

The two cases of thermal postbuckling of initially compressed plates and of compressive postbuckling of initially heated plates are considered. The initial geometrical imperfection of the plate is taken into account. The formulations are based on the Reissner-Mindlin plate theory considering the first order shear deformation effect, and including the plate-foundation interaction and thermal effect. The analysis uses a deflection-type perturbation technique to determine the buckling loads and postbuckling equilibrium paths. Numerical examples cover the performances of perfect and imperfect, moderately thick plates resting on Winkler or Pasternak-type elastic foundations. Typical results are presented in dimensionless graphical form.

최근에 YEH-SHEN은 스마트 카드를 이용한 일회용 패스워드 인증 스킴을 제안했다. 본 논문에서는 YEH-SHEN의 인증 스킴이, 사용자 등록 단계에서 로그인 사용 횟수를 N번으로 제한하고 있으며 또한 로그인 단계서 일회용 패스워드를 계산할 때 일방향 해쉬 함수를 (N-로그인 횟수)번 만큼 반복 수행해야 한다는 문제점을 지적한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 이를 개선한 보다 효율적인 새로운 인증 스킴을 제안하고 제안된 스킴이 여러 보안 요구사항에 안전함을 보인다.

Collections of isopod custaceans from the south coasts of Korea contained a new species of sphaeromatid genus Dynoides . Description is given under the name of Dynoides spinipodus. The proposed new species is allied to D. serratisinus BArnard, 1914, D. barnardi Baker, 1928 and D.Dentisinus Shen , 1929 in the presence of a conical median process on the pleon , but it is readily distinguished by the pleotelsonic foramen without maginal teeth along its inner border.

Species of the genus Pseudodiaptomus are reported as the major constituents in the fresh or brackish waters in the northeastern Asia (Suh et al., 1991; Oka et al., 1991). Of these species, P. inopinus (Burckhardt) and P. poplesia (Shen) are particularly numerous in spring and autumn (Suh et al., 1991; Shen and Song, 1979). Recently. we found a presence of two types of Pseudodiaptomus inopinus during the course of investigation on zooplankton from Korean estuaries. (omitted)

We have conducted faunistic study of sea lice collected from marine plankton samples of western and southern coasts of Korea. These specimens were identified as Caligus undulatus Shen and Li, 1959, belonging to family Caligidae and order Siphonostomatoida with worldwide distribution. The range extension of C. undulatus is reported in addition to the previously known distributional range from the Northwest Pacific (China, Japan, and Korea), India, Brazil, and Mexico. This species can be distinguished from all previous reports with characteristics such as overall body proportions of both sexes, structure details of mouth appendages, armature of legs, and some variation in body size. The distributional range of C. undulatus is now given with its northern and south hemisphere limit being 40 to $10^{\circ}N$ in the Indo-Pacific and $30^{\circ}S$ in the Southwest Atlantic. This is the first record of its female occurring in Korea.

A genuine interstitial cyclopoid species belonging to the genus Psammophilocyclops Fryer, 1956 is recorded from the filtration basin of a water treatment plant, South Korea. The genus Psammophilocyclops is very rarely found, and only three species have been recognized as yet: P. boccaroi Fryer, 1956 from Africa, P. trispinosus Shen et Tai, 1964 and P. bispinosus Shen et Tai, 1964 from China. The present new species differs from the congeneric species by the character combination of 11-segmented antennule in female, four-segmented maxilliped with 2,1,1,2 setation, the spine formula of 3,3,3,3, and setal arrangement of 3,3,5,3 on the distal endopodal segments of legs 1-4. Descriptio and taxonomic accounts of the new species are presented with a revised generic diagnosis and a key to the species hitherto known in the genus.

Mycena subpiligera, a new taxon in sect. Fragilipedes that can strongly enhance the germination efficiency of Gastrodia elata seeds, was discovered in subtropical areas of China. As revealed by a morphological comparison with related Mycena species as well as maximum likelihood (ML) and Bayesian phylogenetic analyses based on sequences of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) and the large subunit (LSU) regions of nuclear ribosomal RNA, the new taxon can be distinguished from phenotypically similar and phylogenetically related species. Optimal cultural conditions for M. subpiligera basidiomata are reported, and the germination rate of the new species is compared with that of M. citrinomarginata.
