접착 면 처리 방법에 따른 이종 압축강도 콘크리트의 접착성능 평가에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental study on bonding performance evaluation of Bi-compressive strength concrete according to surface preparation)

  • An active study on UHPC, which has been recently used in high-rise building and bridges, is in progress. However, research on adhesion strength of normal concrete and UHPC is required to be studied due to the lack of information. In this study, experimental research progress for adhesion strength (shear strength of adhesive surface) evaluation of Bi-compressive strength concretes (UHPC, Normal concrete) is proceeded. First, specimens using glue are produced and surface treatment methods of concrete bonded section are considered. Second, Direct Shear test is applied on concrete bonded section of UHPC (80~180MPa) and Normal Concrete (NC). As a result of this study, it is confirmed that bond strength is deteriorated as the difference of intensity ration of NC and UHPC increases.

  • The twisting and extrusion process of the product with involute helical fin from the round billet is developed by the upper bound analysis. The twisting of extruded product is caused by the twisted die surface connecting the die entrance section and the die exit section linearly. In the analysis, the internal shear surface is defined as the curved twisted plane from the taisting of die surface and the shear work is calculated by the consumption of shear energy The increase rate of angular velocity is determined by the minimization of plastic work. The results of the analysis show that the angular velocity of the extruded product increases with the die twisting angle, the reduction of area, and decreases with the die length, the friction condition.

  • The reliability of BGA (ball grid array) package with OSP (organic surface preservative) surface finish under thermal cycle was investigated by using SEM (scanning electron microscopy), EDS(energy dispersive spectroscopy), image tool and ball shear test. The IMCs (intermetallic compounds) were increased with increasing number of thermal cycles. However, the shear strengths of solder ball were decreased with increasing number of thermal cycles. The order of solders which had the highest shear strength as follow: Sn-3.5wt%Ag-0.7wt%Cu, Sn-0.7wt%Cu, Sn-37wt%Pb.

A Method of Measuring Wood Failure Percentage of Wood Specimens Bonded with Melamine-Urea-Formaldehyde Resins Using I mage Analysis

  • Transparent and colorless melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resins make it difficult to identify the area of wood failure percentage (WFP) in the fracture surface of bonded wood specimens. Therefore, in this study, we develop a method of measuring WFP after the adhesion strength measurement of MUF resins under shear stress. The fractured wood surface of b lock shear strength (BSS) specimens bonded with cold-setting MUF resins at three melamine contents (20%, 30%, and 40%) was marked black, and then, WFP was accurately measured via image analysis. WFP values measured using this method consistently increased with BSS as the melamine content increased, showing the reliability of this new method. The results suggested that this new method is useful and reliable for measuring the WFP of the fracture surface of wood specimens bonded with colorless adhesives such as urea-formaldehyde, MUF, and melamine-formaldehyde resins.

치과용 금합금의 표면처리에 따른 교정용 브라켓의 전단결합강도 변화 (Change of shear bond strength of orthodontic brackets according to surface treatment on dental gold alloy)

  • 치과용 금합금에 브라켓을 부착하는 경우 자연치에 비하여 낮은 결합강도를 보이며, 잦은 브라켓 탈락이 나타나고 있는 바, 본 연구는 여러 가지 금합금 표면처리 방법이 교정용 레진 접착제와 금합금 간의 전단결합강도에 미치는 영향을 평가하여 금합금과 브라켓 간의 부착강도 증진방법을 모색하고자 시행하였다. 치과용 금합금으로 주조된 240개의 시편을 표면처리 유무 및 방법에 따라 무처리, 샌드블라스팅 단독처리, 샌드블라스팅과 주석도금 병용처리, 그리고 샌드블라스팅과 중간접착제 병용처리의 4가지 경우와, Ortho-one, Panavia 21, Superbond C&B의 3가지 레진접착제의 조합에 의해 12군으로 나누어 브라켓을 부착하였다. 시편을 증류수에 담아 $37^{\circ}C$ 항온 수조 속에서 24시간 동안 보관한 후, 만능물성 시험기를 이용하여 전단결합강도를 측정한 후 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 치과용 금합금의 표면을 처리하지 않은 경우에 비하여 표면처리한 군에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 전단결합강도가 나타났다. 2. 샌드블라스팅 단독처리에 비하여 주석도금 병용처리를 시행한 경우 Panavia 21에서만 유의한 결합강도 증가가 나타났다. 3. 샌드블라스팅 단독처리에 비하여 중간접착제 병용처리를 시행한 경우 모든 접착제에서 유의한 결합강도 증가가 나타났다. 4. 사용된 레진접착제에 따른 전단결합강도를 비교한 결과 Superbond C&B가 가장 높고 그 다음으로 Panavia 21, Ortho-one 순으로 나타나는 양상을 보였다. 이상의 결과는 금합금 표면에서 브라켓 부착강도를 증가시키기 위해서는 레진접착제 종류에 관계없이 샌드블라스팅과 중간접착제 병용처리가 필요함을 시사하였다.

콘크리트 수직시공이음 접합면의 전단강도에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Interface Shear Strength of Concrete in Vertical Construction Joint)

  • 수화열에 의한 균열은 대규모 콘크리트 타설시 흔하게 접하는 문제이며 이에 대한 해결은 시공이음을 만드는 것이다. 일반적인 방법으로 접합면을 할석으로 처리 하나 이 작업은 번거롭고 품질의 일관성을 유지하기 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 접합면을 3가지 방법으로 처리하여 접합면의 전단강도를 비교하기 위한 18개의 시험체에 대한 push-out실험을 수행하였다. 할석으로 접합면을 만든 시험체에 비해 리브라스를 이용한 시험체가 전단저항에 월등한 성능을 보여 주었으며 그리고 리브라스를 절곡하여 만든 전단키가 전단저항을 향상시키는데 큰 역할을 하였다.

일차파괴된 암반사면의 전단강도 및 보강설계법 고찰 (A study on the determination of shear strength and the support design of pre-failed rock slope)

  • Shear strength of the discontinuity on which the pre-failure of rock slope was occurred during surface excavation was measured through the direct shear test using core samples obtained in-situ. Internal friction angle was increased as the roughness of discontinuity surface(JRC) was increased. Results of the tilt test using core samples of higher JRC also showed very similar trend as those of the direct shear test. When the samples replicated from natural cores were used int he tilt test, results of friction angles showed almost perfect continuation of the residual friction angles from the direct shear test. However, when the gouge material existed in the discontinuity the internal friction angle strongly depended upon the rate of filling thickness to the height of asperity irrespective of the JRC. Based on the results of both direct shear test and tilt test internal friction angle and cohesion of discontinuity, which reflect the in-situ conditions fo pre-sliding failure and also can be used for the optimum design of support system, were assessed. Two kinds of support measures which were expected to increase the stability of rock slope were considered; lowering of slope face angle and installation of rock cable. But, it was found that the first method might lead to more unstable conditions of rock slope when the cohesion of discontinuity plane was negligibly low and in that case the support systems of any kind which could exert actual resisting force were needed to ensure the permanent stability of rock slope.

A new higher order shear and normal deformation theory for functionally graded beams

  • In this scientific work, constructing of a novel shear deformation beam model including the stretching effect is of concern for flexural and free vibration responses of functionally graded beams. The particularity of this model is that, in addition to considering the transverse shear deformation and the stretching effect, the zero transverse shear stress condition on the beam surface is assured without introducing the shear correction parameter. By employing the Hamilton's principle together with the concept of the neutral axe's position for such beams, the equations of motion are obtained. Some examples are performed to demonstrate the effects of changing gradients, thickness stretching, and thickness to length ratios on the bending and vibration of functionally graded beams.

  • The mechanical and electrical properties of ball grid array (BGA) solder joints were measured, consisting of Sn-3.5Ag, with organic solderability preservative (OSP)-finished Cu pads and Electroless Nickel/Immersion Gold (ENIG) surface finishes. The mechanical properties were measured by die shear test. When ENIG PCB was upper joint and OSP PCB was lower joint, the highest shear force showed at the third reflow. When OSP PCB was upper joint and ENIG PCB was lower joint, the highest shear force showed at the forth reflow. For both joints, after the die shear results reached the highest shear force, shear force decreased as a function of increasing reflow number. Electrical property of the solder joint decreased with the function of increasing reflow number. The scanning electron microscope results show that the IMC thickness at the bonding interface gets thicker while the number of reflow increases.

SH파 초동주시 역산과 표면파 분산곡선 역산으로부터 구한 횡파속도 단면 비교 (Comparison of Shear-wave Velocity Sections from Inverting SH-wave Traveltimes of First Arrivals and Surface Wave Dispersion Curves)

  • SH파 굴절법 토모그래피와 표면파 분산자료 역산을 통하여 2차원 S파 속도단면을 각각 구하였고, 비교 목적으로 P파 속도단면도 함께 구하였다. P파와 표면파는 지표에 수직하게 타격하여 발생시켰으며, 100 Hz와 4.5 Hz 수직지오폰 24개로 각각 수신하였다. SH파는 50 kg 나무원목의 좌우를 타격하여 발생시켰고, 8 Hz 수평 지오폰으로 수신하였으며, 좌측타격에서 우측타격을 빼주어 SH파 신호를 강화하였다. 초동주시 토모그램과 표면파 분산곡선으로부터 역산과정을 거쳐서 구한 S파 속도단면을 비교한 결과, 두 단면의 전체적인 양상은 서로 비슷하지만, 표면파 역산으로 구한 S파 속도단면이 전반적으로 작은 값을 갖는 경향을 보인다. 잡음에 취약한 SH파는 P파 및 PS 변환파 도달 이후에 기록되어 초동선택이 어려운 문제가 있으며, 균질한 수평모델을 가정하는 표면파의 분산곡선 역산은 측방 변화가 심한 곳에서 지하구조를 정확히 밝히는데 한계가 있음을 보인다.
