인스타그램에서의 페르소나와 패션을 통한 자기표현에 관한 연구 -20~30대 여성을 중심으로- (A Study on Persona and Self-Presentation through Fashion on Instagram -Focusing on Women in Their 20s and 30s-)

  • This study qualitatively explored the case of users utilizing multiple accounts on one social network service to create their own multiple spaces and different personas. The purpose of the study was to understand the behavior of people who use multiple accounts to express their identity online using Carl Jung's personality theory. We used in-depth interviews and the Zaltman metaphor elicitation technique (ZMET), targeting 19 people in their 20s and 30s who use more than one personal account on Instagram. Creating a shared consensus map using the configuration concept of ZMET derived six personas in relation to Instagram accounts. The motivations for the respondents' self-presentation associated with their personas and self-presentation types shown on Instagram were analyzed in terms of persona and fashion and subdivided into five dimensions: relationship management strategic presentation, self-monitoring presentation, competence demonstration presentation, anonymous presentation, and persona-centered presentation. Each respondent's persona and self-presentation formed by the Instagram account was analyzed.

A Study on the Establishment of Integrated Health Information Service Model of Public Libraries

  • Currently, it is not easy for most domestic public libraries to collect and provide reliable health information services on their own. Health information is distributed or professional, making it inconvenient for users to use. Based on the implications derived from the case study, the Library Health Information Integration Service Model was proposed as a specialized information service. The model consists of a composition shared by librarians, health and medical experts, and users, focusing on library websites that provide integrated health information integration services, and has the following features. First, it provides health and medical information on a specialized subject. Second, it provides integrated health and medical information services provided in various ways. Third, librarians and health and medical experts work together to provide information services. Fourth, users can freely use health information integration services online and offline. The model presented in this study means that libraries can play a leading role in health information integration services to increase the utilization rate of public libraries and further contribute to librarians serving as experts in health information services.

조직구성원의 개인-환경적합성과 정보시스템 수용요인이 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 사회자본의 매개역할 (A Study on the Impact of Employee's Person-Environment Fit and Information Systems Acceptance Factors on Performance: The Mediating Role of Social Capital)

  • In a knowledge-based society, a firm's intellectual capital represents the wealth of ideas and ability to innovate, which are indispensable elements for the future growth. Therefore, the intellectual capital is evidently recognized as the most valuable asset in the organization. Considered as intangible asset, intellectual capital is the basis based on which firms can foster their sustainable competitive advantage. One of the essential components of the intellectual capital is a social capital, indicating the firm's individual members' ability to build a firm's social networks. As such, social capital is a powerful concept necessary for understanding the emergence, growth, and functioning of network linkages. The more social capital a firm is equipped with, the more successfully it can establish new social networks. By providing a shared context for social interactions, social capital facilitates the creation of new linkages in the organizational setting. This concept of "person-environment fit" has long been prevalent in the management literature. The fit is grounded in the interaction theory of behavior. The interaction perspective has a fairly long theoretical tradition, beginning with proposition that behavior is a function of the person and environment. This view asserts that neither personal characteristics nor the situation alone adequately explains the variance in behavioral and attitudinal variables. Instead, the interaction of personal and situational variables accounts for the greatest variance. Accordingly, the person-environment fit is defined as the degree of congruence or match between personal and situational variables in producing significant selected outcomes. In addition, information systems acceptance factors enable organizations to build large electronic communities with huge knowledge resources. For example, the Intranet helps to build knowledge-based communities, which in turn increases employee communication and collaboration. It is vital since through active communication and collaborative efforts can employees build common basis for shared understandings that evolve into stronger relationships embedded with trust. To this aim, the electronic communication network allows the formation of social network to be more viable to rapid mobilization and assimilation of knowledge assets in the organizations. The purpose of this study is to investigate: (1) the impact of person-environment fit(person-job fit, person-person fit, person-group fit, person-organization fit) on social capital(network ties, trust, norm, shared language); (2) the impact of information systems acceptance factors(availability, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use) on social capital; (3) the impact of social capital on personal performance(work performance, work satisfaction); and (4) the mediating role of social capital between person-environment fit and personal performance. In general, social capital is defined as the aggregated actual or collective potential resources which lead to the possession of a durable network. The concept of social capital was originally developed by sociologists for their analysis in social context. Recently, it has become an increasingly popular jargon used in the management literature in describing organizational phenomena outside the realm of transaction costs. Since both environmental factors and information systems acceptance factors affect the network of employee's relationships, this study proposes that these two factors have significant influence on the social capital of employees. The person-environment fit basically refers to the alignment between characteristics of people and their environments, thereby resulting in positive outcomes for both individuals and organizations. In addition, the information systems acceptance factors have rather direct influences on the social network of employees. Based on such theoretical framework, namely person-environment fit and social capital theory, we develop our research model and hypotheses. The results of data analysis, based on 458 employee cases are as follow: Firstly, both person-environment fit(person-job fit, person-person fit, person-group fit, person-organization fit) and information systems acceptance factors(availability perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use) significantly influence social capital(network ties, norm, shared language). In addition, person-environment fit is a stronger factor influencing social capital than information systems acceptance factors. Secondly, social capital is a significant factor in both work satisfaction and work performance. Finally, social capital partly plays a mediating role between person-environment fit and personal performance. Our findings suggest that it is vital for firms to understand the importance of environmental factors affecting social capital of employees and accordingly identify the importance of information systems acceptance factors in building formal and informal relationships of employees. Firms also need to reflect their recognition of the importance of social capital's mediating role in boosting personal performance. Some limitations arisen in the course of the research and suggestions for future research directions are also discussed.

협업 가상현실 기반의 분자모델링 교육 시스템 (A Molecular Modeling Education System based on Collaborative Virtual Reality)

  • 협업 시스템은 원거리의 다수 사용자들이 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 공동의 작업을 진행 할 수 있도록 서비스를 제공하는 시스템이다. 하지만 모든 시스템들이 그렇듯이 처음 사용할 때는 여러 가지 시행작오가 생기게 된다. 가상분자모델링 시스템인 VRMMS[1]는 여러 사용자들이 온라인상에서 분자 구조를 관찰하고 시뮬레이션 결과를 확인 할 수 있고 또한 피드백까지 줄 수 있는 협업시스템인데, 분자 모델을 연구하는 사람들에게는 유용한 시스템이지만 익숙하게 분자 구조를 조작하기 위해서는 인터페이스에 대한 학습이 필요하다. 가장 좋은 방법은 직접 만나서 교육을 시켜주는 것이지만 한 장소가 아닌 여러 장소에서 원격으로 실험을 진행하는 상황에서는 사용법에 대한 직접적인 교육이 힘들기 때문에 시행착오 기간이 길어질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시행착오를 줄이기 위해 가상의 현실세계인 세컨드라이프[2]를 통해 분자 구조를 관찰하고 시뮬레이션을 할 수 있는 협업시스템을 제안한다. 각각의 사용자들은 가상세계에서 자신의 아바타를 통해 가상분자모델링 시스템인 VRMMS를 사용하여 현실 세계에서와 같은 방식으로 실험을 진행할 수 있으며, 실험에 익숙하지 않는 사용자들은 실험방법을 직접 보고 따라 해 볼 수 있어서 좋은 학습효과를 기대할 수 있다.

소셜미디어 사진 게시물의 딥러닝을 활용한 도시공원 이용자 활동 이미지 분류모델 개발 (Development of Image Classification Model for Urban Park User Activity Using Deep Learning of Social Media Photo Posts)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인공지능의 딥러닝을 활용하여 소셜미디어에서 공유되는 도시공원 이용자 활동사진을 분류하는 기초 모델을 만드는 것이다. 소셜미디어 데이터는 네이버 검색을 통해 수집된 도시공원 관련 사진들을 수집하여 분류모델에 활용하였다. 도시공원 특성 평가에 활용할 수 있는 지표인 자연성(naturalness), 잠재적 매력성(potential attraction), 활동(activity)을 기반으로 최종 21개의 분류 항목체계를 만들고, 항목별로 네이버에서 공유되는 실제 도시공원 사진을 수집하여 주석이 달린 데이터 세트를 구축했다. 수집한 사진 데이터 세트에 대해 커스텀(cuntom) CNN 모델과 사전 훈련된 CNN의 전이학습 모델을 설계하고 분석하였다. 연구결과, 가장 우수한 성능을 보였던 Xception 전이학습 모델이 최종적으로 도시공원 이용자 활동 이미지 분류모델로 선정되었으며, 그 외 다양한 평가 지표를 통해 모델을 평가했다. 본 연구는 소셜미디어에 공유되는 이용자 사진을 활용하여 도시공원 특성을 평가할 수 있는 지표로서 AI를 구축한 것에 의의가 있다. 딥러닝을 활용한 분류모델은 수동분류에 대한 한계를 보완하고, 대량의 도시공원 사진을 효율적으로 분류할 수 있어서 향후 도시공원의 모니터링 및 관리에 활용할 수 있는 유용한 방법이라고 할 수 있다.

MaxEnt를 활용한 기후변화와 토지 피복 변화에 따른 멸강나방 및 혹명나방의 한국 내 분포 변화 분석과 예측 (Analysis and estimation of species distribution of Mythimna seperata and Cnaphalocrocis medinalis with land-cover data under climate change scenario using MaxEnt)

  • 멸강나방(Mythimna seperata)과 혹명나방(Cnaphalocrocis medinalis)은 중국 남부 양쯔강 유역에서 봄철 편서풍을 타고 국내로 유입되는 비래 해충(Migratory insect pests)으로 벼를 기주로 삼아 벼 잎을 가해하여 생육을 저해시킨다. 두 나방의 분포를 파악하기 위해서는 서식처의 온습도 뿐만 아니라 주변 환경 요소를 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구는 두 나방의 분포를 파악하기 위해서 SDM(Species Distribution Model) 중 Machine learning model인 MaxEnt (Maximum Entropy)에 출현 자료, SSPs (Shared Socio-economic Pathways) 시나리오, RCP (Representative Concentration Pathway) 시나리오를 적용하여 현재와 미래의 서식지 적합성 모형을 예측했다. 결과로 시기에 따른 서식처 면적이 큰 차이가 없었으며, SSPs 시나리오가 나빠짐에 따라 분포 면적이 넓어졌다. 두 나방은 중국으로부터 비래 후 생존하기 위한 최적의 장소가 기주가 있는 서해안과 남해안에 집중되어 있다. MaxEnt 결과 토지피복 자료, DEM (Degital Elevation Model) 순으로 기여도가 높게 나타났다. 이는 논에서의 출현 확률 높고 고도가 높아지면서 출현 확률이 낮아졌기 때문이다. 기후 변수에서 멸강나방은 BIO_4 (Temperature seasonality), 혹명나방은 BIO_2 (Mean Diurnal Range)가 높게 나타났다. 멸강나방은 계절에 의한 기온 차가 31.9℃ 이상일 때 서식처가 줄어들고, 혹명나방은 일교차 클수록 서식처가 넓어질 것으로 나타났다. 서식지 적합성 모형에서 두 나방은 대부분의 논에서 서식이 가능할 것이라 예측되었다. 하지만, 두 나방의 출현 위치를 정확하게 예측하는 데 한계가 있으므로, 서식지 적합성 지도를 기초로 조기에 대응하는 것이 중요하다고 판단된다.

Secure Key Management Protocol in the Wireless Sensor Network

  • To achieve security in wireless sensor networks (WSN), it is important to be able to encrypt messages sent among sensor nodes. We propose a new cryptographic key management protocol, which is based on the clustering scheme but does not depend on the probabilistic key. The protocol can increase the efficiency to manage keys since, before distributing the keys by bootstrap, the use of public keys shared among nodes can eliminate the processes to send or to receive keys among the sensors. Also, to find any compromised nodes safely on the network, it solves safety problems by applying the functions of a lightweight attack-detection mechanism.

  • RFID is a generic term for technologies which use RF waves to identify, track, or categorize any object. A radio frequency identification (RFID) reader recognizes objects through wireless communications with RFID tags. Tag collision arbitration for passive tags is a significant issue for fast tag identification due to communication over a shared wireless channel. One of the research areas in RFID system is a tag anti-collision protocol. In this paper, various anti-collision protocols are discussed. The pros and cons of different anti-collision protocols are compared with each other and their performance is analyzed and the better performance anti-collision protocol is suggested.

  • This paper discusses the quorum based algorithm for group mutual exclusion defined by Yuh-Jzer Joung. Group mutual exclusion[4,5,6] is a generalization of mutual exclusion that allows a resource to be shared by processes of the same group, but requites processes of different groups to use the resource in a mutually exclusive style. Joung proposed a quorum system, which he referred to as the surficial quorum system for group mutual exclusion and two modifications of Maekawa's algorithm[6]. He mentioned that when a process may belong to more than one group, the process must identify one of the groups it belongs when it wishes to enter CS(Critical Section). However, his solution didn't provide mechanism of identifying a group which maximizes the possibility to enter CS. In this paper, we provide a mechanism for identifying that each process belongs to which group.

  • Recently, researches into ways of improving large vocabulary continuous speech recognition and speech synthesis are being carried out intensively as the field of speech information technology is progressing rapidly. In the field of speech recognition, developments of stochastic methods such as HMM require large amount of speech data for training, and also in the field of speech synthesis, recent practices show that synthesis of better quality can be produced by selecting and connecting only the variable size of speech data from the large amount of speech data. In this paper we design and discuss linguistic contents for speech copora for speech recognition and synthesis to be shared in common.
