The study was performed as a part of 3-D exploration project of the South Con Son basin, where Korea National Oil Co. (KNOC) and SHELL Company are performing joint operation. In the structurally complex area, seismic facies or lap-out patterns, which are usually the tools for the conventional seismic stratigraphy developed by Exxon Group (Vail et at., 1977), are not easily identifiable. Therefore, stratigraphic informations are mainly extracted from seismic attribute maps of each sequence or systems tracts, and isopach maps in correlation with the stratigraphic information from the wells. The attribute maps of the sequence or systems tract boundaries and isopach map describe the variations of paleodepositional environments. The shape of the attribute maps of the boundaries is a reasonable description of the shape of the paleodepositional surface. With other maps such as isopach and structural maps, the variations of the parasequences in the systems tracts can be projected using the surface attribute maps. The reflection intensity attribute at each sequence or system tract boundary can be related to lithology, facies or porosity distributions. The azimuth attribute of source rock sequence can be used to identify the hydrocarbon migration patterns into the prospects. The overall risks of reservoir rocks, cap rocks, structure and hydrocarbon migrations were computed using the results of the study.
The stability of cutting slope influences the safety of railway operation, and how to identify the stability of the slope quickly and determine the rational monitoring plan is a pressing problem at present. In this study, the attribute recognition model of risk assessment for high cutting slope stability in the heavy haul railway is established based on attribute mathematics theory, followed by the consequent monitoring scheme design. Firstly, based on comprehensive analysis on the risk factors of heavy haul railway loess slope, collapsibility, tectonic feature, slope shape, rainfall, vegetation conditions, train speed are selected as the indexes of the risk assessment, and the grading criteria of each index is established. Meanwhile, the weights of the assessment indexes are determined by AHP judgment matrix. Secondly, The attribute measurement functions are given to compute attribute measurement of single index and synthetic attribute, and the attribute recognition model was used to assess the risk of a typical heavy haul railway loess slope, Finally, according to the risk assessment results, the monitoring content and method of this loess slope were determined to avoid geological disasters and ensure the security of the railway infrastructure. This attribute identification- risk assessment- monitoring design mode could provide an effective way for the risk assessment and control of heavy haul railway in the loess plateau.
The visual impact of fonts on lots of documents and design work is significant. Accordingly, the users desire to appropriately use fonts suitable for their intention. However, existing font recommendation programs are difficult to consider what users want. Therefore, we propose a font recommendation system based on user-evaluated font attribute value. The properties of a font are called attributes. In this paper, we propose a font recommendation module that recommends a user 's desired font using the attributes of the font. In addition, we classify each attribute into three types of usage, personality, and shape, suggesting the font that is closest to the desired font, and suggest an optimal font recommendation algorithm. In addition, weights can be set for each use, personality, and shape category to increase the weight of each category, and when a weight is used, a more suitable font can be recommended to the user.

An IFC file is dependent on the IFC schema. Because of this relationship, most IFC-using software reads and interprets the IFC File by employing an early binding method, which uses a standard IFC schema. In the case of most open sources, early binding methods using standard IFC schema have a problem that they cannot express extra information of IFC File out of extended IFC schema. Also, in the case of previous studies, they suggested schema extension, such as adding attribute information to the schema, rather than the interpretation of IFC File. This study research on method of extracting shape and attribute information was conducted by analyzing the IFC File produced through the Port schema, which is an extended IFC schema. Three objects were created using the reference relationship between the Port schema definition and the IFC entity, and, at the end, the three objects were combined into one object. It has been confirmed that the shape and property data were express properly while delivering the combined object to the viewer. The process is possible because of the method of matching IFC schema and IFC File, which is dependent on IFC schema but not early binding method. However, this method has some drawbacks, such that contemporaneously generated many objects consume many memory spaces. Future research to investigate that issue further is needed.

The technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) is regarded as a classical method of multiple attribute decision making (MADM), often used to solve various decision-making or selection problems. It is based on the concept that the chosen alternative should have the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the farthest distance from the negative ideal solution. The TOPSIS can be applied to a design process for carrying out multi-objective shape optimization wherein the best and worst alternatives are to be decided. In this paper, multi-objective shape optimization using the TOPSIS and Rational Bezier curve was applied to the funnel of a cathode-ray tube (CRT). In order to minimize the weight and first principal stress, a new multi-objective shape optimization methodology is proposed, wherein the relative-closeness coefficients of the TOPSIS are defined as the performance indices of a multi-objective function and evaluated by response surface models. This methodology enables the designer to decide on the best solution from a number of design specification groups by examining the various conflicts between the weight and the first principal stress.

The Crack, occurred in the concrete structure, is a major cause of function deterioration such as strength, durability and waterproof. Therefore the need for crack reduction will continue as long as there is concrete structure. But, it is not easy to reduce or prevent crack cause of impact factor of it. There are so many factors of crack such as material, construction and maintenance environment, and structure, and these are acting in combination. So, this study derives a correlation between the cracks and members through reviewing member crack occurred. And member's attribute, related crack, is analyzed by it. It consider that the basic attribute of member is similar when its requirements are similar. Through this study, therefore, foundation of countermeasure of crack will be provided by prediction of crack shape through member's attribute.

In automated search of a design database to support mechanical design, it is necessaryto recognize a shape pattern which represents a design object. This paper introduces the concept of a surface relation graph (SRG) for recognizing shape patterns from a 3D boundary representation scheme of a solid model(a B-rep model). In SRG, the nodes and arcs correspond to the faces and edges shared by two adjacent faces, respectively. An attribute assigned to an arc is given by an integer which discriminates the relationship between two adjacent faces. The + sign of the integer represents the geometric convexity of the solid, and the -sign the concivity at the shared edge. The input shape is recognized by comparison with the predefined features which are subgraphs of the SRG. A hierarchyof the database for upporting the design is presented. A search for the design database is also discussed. The usefulness of this method is illustrated by some application results.
The attribute of cartoon and comics has been known the combination of image and text. It is improved the we find the shape of comics at the first comics on the newspaper. But we can read the comic without word. These works don't give the difficult to read and it may transfer to readers by the image of figure on comics. Therefore how can the image reach the readers by the communication. This study is the research of the visual image communication and the attribute of wordless comics.
This paper proposes a new part family classification system (IPFACS: Image Processing and Fuzzy ART based Clustering System), which incorporates image processing techniques and a modified fuzzy ART neural network algorithm. IPFACS can classify parts based on geometrical shape and manufacturing attributes, simultaneously. With a proper reduction and normalization of an image data through the image processing methods and adding method in the modified Fuzzy ART, different types of geometrical shape data and manufacturing attribute data can be simultaneously classified in the same system. IPFACS has been tested for an example set of hypothetical parts. The results show that IPFACS provides a good feasible approach to form families based on both geometrical shape and manufacturing attributes.
