The objective of this paper is to evaluate the equilibrium price between PSTN and VoIP telephony services in the case of non-linear utility function. Currently there are two types of wired phone services we are known PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). The PSTN telephony which provide high quality service and VoIP which provides relatively low quality service form a vertically differentiated oligopoly. Therefore, the evaluation of the equilibrium price between PSTN and VoIP services is very important to wired phone service providers. The equilibrium price depends on the state of the service cost function has been proved different value. This paper was evaluated each equilibrium price for the state of the linear cost function and non-linear cost function. Subsequently, this paper analyzed the demand of both services and the equilibrium profit which can maximize the profit of both service providers.
The purposes of this study were,1) to examine the clothing purchase behaviors of the elderly, and 2) to investigate the relationships of clothing purchase behaviors, information source, service quality and clothing buying motive, which may provide insights related to the silver market. Data were obtained for women in their 50's and 60's women living in Busan (N=285), and analyzed using to factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, ANOVA and Duncan test. The research findings of the research wereare asan follows. The elderlys women bought clothes with their her friends, used credit cards, and usually shopped at the department stores. There were partly significant (Ed- it cannot be 'partly' either it was significant or it was not) differences in clothing purchase behaviors, information source, and service quality by clothing buying motive types. The ostentation group considered more massmideamass mediainformation sources and experience/salespersons/observation information sources, more was higher than the economic group and utility groups. The ostentation group and economical groups attached more importance to Facilities Service and Policy Service in service quality, was higher than the utility group. The Iimplications and drawn from the study results for the information will be useful to consumer behavior researchers and retailers of the silver market.

The purpose of this study is to find out the difference of evaluation of product and service quality according to consumers' attitude toward price in internet clothing purchase. This study surveyed 400 male and female consumers in their 20s-30s for empirical analysis in August 2010 who have ever purchased clothing through internet shopping malls. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, ANOVA analysis, Duncan test and cluster analysis are carried out using SPSS for Windows 12.0. The results are as follows. First, consumers' attitude toward price dimensions in internet clothing purchase are found 6 factors of sales proneness, price-prestige, price-comparison, low price, utility value and pricequality. Second, based on the attitude toward price dimensions, consumers are categorized into utility value seeking, sales price seeking, multi-dimension price seeking, lack price consciousness, low price seeking group. Third, there are significant differences in product quality and service quality depending on attitude toward price-based consumer types. In particular, sales price seeking and multi-dimension price seeking groups have higher values on product and service quality than other groups. The results of this study will help internet fashion mall businesses to develop price strategy and manage product and service quality.
Consumer demand for e-commerce services has skyrocketed due to the introduction of social distancing standards and lockdown measures that countries have taken to combat the pandemic. There has been a notable surge in the popularity of on-demand delivery services, with a significant influx of new users turning to the e-platform for assistance. This research paper tries to identify the enablers of E-commerce Utility and Service Quality and establish a connection using total interpretive structural modelling (TISM). Enablers are the building blocks for providing customers with an enhanced and more consistent service experience contributing to service quality. The enablers and the linkages thus established hold valuable insights for e-commerce marketers, aiding them in effectively reaching their customers, and achieving desired growth outcomes. The TISM- based model and the MICMAC analysis identified two barriers; website design and personalization as the decisive attributes of e-commerce service quality, possessing strong driving power and weak dependence. Furthermore, the factors of reliability, responsiveness, information, and ease of use form the linkage zone, indicating that any action taken on these factors would not only influence other factors but also have a reciprocal effect on them.
This paper introduce an algorithm for service restoration in electric power distribution systems. Power utility performs service restoration in order to restore out-of-service areas at fault. Developing effective service restoration program is a cost-effective approach to improve service reliability and to enhance customer satisfaction. The main objective in service restoration program is to restore as much load as possible by transferring de-energized loads via network reconfigurations to other supporting distribution feeders without violating operating and engineering constrains.
This study focused on analyzing effects of transparency on the water system specifically and quantitatively. It was observed that transparency can give a water utility considerable motives for improving its performance and make the service price meet the production cost. System simulation made sure that these functions of transparency will eventually result in the better service for customers and the more favorable finance for a water utility. Results of this study can help some decision makers and utilities to sort out positive countermeasure for improving transparency.
The purposes of this study were: a) to develop the a quality measurement tool for the contract-managed hospital foodservice, and b) to evaluate their performance with the developed quality measurement tool, and c) to verify the reliability and validity of the quality measurement tool. The developed quality measurement tool comprised two parts, which were foodservice management and medical nutrition care service. The foodservice management part was classified into six functional categories which were Menu, Procurement and Storage, Production and Distribution, Facility and Utility, Sanitation and Safety, and Management and Evaluation. The medical nutrition care service part indicated the medical nutrition care provided. Quality measurement tool had 91 standards and 324 indicators. The quality measurement tools were distributed to the hospital foodservice manager employed by the foodservice company. The 324 indicators were measured by foodservice manager on the 5-Likert-type scales, and then adapted to a 100 point scale. The SPSS Ver. 11.0 was used for statistical analysis. The categories whose scores were evaluated as being high were Procurement', General Sanitation', Personal sanitation' and Waste' and the categories whose scores were evaluated as being low were Diet Order Manual', Standard Recipe', Appropriateness (Facility and Utility)', Check (Facility and Utility)'and Information Management'. All the categories of medical nutrition service were evaluated as having seriously low scores. Therefore, it was necessary for the contract-managed hospital foodservice to improve its performance in the area of medical nutrition care service. For the verification of the developed quality measurement tool, the reliability obtained by calculating Cronbach's α was 0.8747, and the content validity was also proved by scrutiny of the modification of the Professional group's techniques. Objectives: Recently, the utility rate of Korean-Medical service has been a 6 percent of the domestic market share in medical service, so there is a lot of effort to increase utility rate of Korean medical service. However, in spite of the importance of image to promotion, there are still few studies about image of Korean medicine. Thus, the purpose of this study was to suggest ways to increase utility rate of Korean medical service by surveying and analysing recognition of image of Korean Medicine. Methods: People aged between 20s and 40s were targets of investigation. We divided respondents into three groups depending on relation approximation with Korean medicine (weak-related group, normal-related group, strong-related group). The questionnaire consisted of questions about images of Korean medicine, conducted through online and personal interviews. Results: In total, 282 members responded to the survey and the results of the analysis were as follows. The more a person was related to Korean medicine, the greater the tendency to experience Korean medical service. The most associated taste about Korean medical institutions was Bitterness, smell was smell of Korean medicine, color was yellow, feeling was warm, sound (instrument) was drum, and treatment pattern was Acupuncture, respectively. The most associated image of acupuncture was painful, and the most associated age of Korean medical doctors was 40s. The most associated general term of Korean medicine was physical constitution, and most associated pathological term was extravasated blood. Conclusions: This study can be very useful for future image marketing of Korean medicine because there have been no other studies about image on Korean medicine before now. But this study has also some limits like area, respondent selection, etc., so a more detailed and comprehensive survey is needed.

High-utility itemset mining (HIUM) has emerged as a key data-mining paradigm for object-of-interest identification and recommendation systems that serve as frequent itemset identification tools, product or service recommendation systems, etc. Recently, it has gained widespread attention owing to its increasing role in business intelligence, top-N recommendation, and other enterprise solutions. Despite the increasing significance and the inability to provide swift and more accurate predictions, most at-hand solutions, including frequent itemset mining, HUIM, and high average- and fast high-utility itemset mining, are limited to coping with real-time enterprise demands. Moreover, complex computations and high memory exhaustion limit their scalability as enterprise solutions. To address these limitations, this study proposes a model to extract high-utility frequent closed itemsets based on an improved cumulative summary list structure (CSLFC-HUIM) to reduce an optimal set of candidate items in the search space. Moreover, it employs the lift score as the minimum threshold, called the cumulative utility threshold, to prune the search space optimal set of itemsets in a nested-list structure that improves computational time, costs, and memory exhaustion. Simulations over different datasets revealed that the proposed CSLFC-HUIM model outperforms other existing methods, such as closed- and frequent closed-HUIM variants, in terms of execution time and memory consumption, making it suitable for different mined items and allied intelligence of business goals.
