컨텐츠 기반 pub/sub(publish/subscribe)서비스를 피어투피어(peer-to-peer)네트워크에서 구성할 경우 사용자의 다양한 요구 컨텐츠 정보의 분산저장 및 발생될 이벤트의 효율적인 전송이 주요 요구사항이 된다. 이와 관련하여 DHT(Distributed Hash Table)기술을 기반으로 한 pub/sub 오버레이 네트워크 구성 방식 및 사용자 요구 컨텐츠를 이용한 필터기반 트리구조의 pub/sub 네트워크 구성방식 등이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나 DHT기반 방식의 경우 토픽기반 pub/sub서비스 제공에는 적합하나 다양한 요구 조건에 따른 컨텐츠 전송에는 효율적이지 못하다. 또한 필터기반 트리구조의 방식의 경우 컨텐츠에 대한 유사 요구를 가지는 사용자가 네트워크상에 분산되어 있을 경우 비효율적인 필터구성으로 이벤트 전송 시 많은 비용이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 사용자 요구 수용 및 이에 따른 이벤트 전송비용을 최적화하기 위해 R-Tree알고리즘 기반 오버레이 네트워크 구성방식을 제안한다. 제안된 방식은 사용자 요구의 다차원공간으로의 매핑 및 유사 요구들 간 계층적 그룹화를 통해 트리를 구성하여 비용 효율적 이벤트 전송방법을 제공하였다. 제안된 방식은 사용자요구 및 이벤트의 다양한 분포 환경에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 검증하였다.

Recently the design of railway systems have been performed, based on the analysis of operational conditions and service targets, it is to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of system operation. Many RAMS requirements have been developed to transform operation conditions into system design characteristics. However, our railway industry has not actived the application of RAMS into system design performance. According to short of RAMS application, many technologies that have been developed are not only applied the existing systems that is operating, but also have not succeed to apply for new systems. In order to design the effective and efficient railway systems that are optimized to operation conditions and service targets, a systems approach and RAMS management are necessary in railway development, operation and maintenance. Therefore, in this study, the RAMS performance requirement design methods are discussed. the allocation methods from system level to each devices of subsystems.

WFQ (Weighted Fair Queuing) provides not only fairness among traffic flows in using bandwidth but also guarantees the Quality of Service (QoS) that individual flow requires, which is why it has been applied to the resource reservation protocol (RSVP)-capable router. The RSVP allocates an enough resource to satisfy both the rate and end-to-end delay requirements of the flow in the condition of no packet loss, and the WFQ scheduler guarantees those QoS requirements with the allocated resource. In practice, however, most QoS-guaranteed services allow a degree of packet loss, especially from 0.1% to 3% for Voice over IP. This paper discovers that the packet loss rate of each traffic flow is determined by only its time-stamp adjustment value, and then enhances the WFQ to provide a differentiated packet loss guarantee under general traffic conditions in terms of both traffic characteristics and QoS requirements. The performance evaluation showed that the proposed WFQ could increase the utilization of bandwidth by 8~11%.

유비쿼터스 환경에서의 응용은 사용자의 요구사항 변경과 사용자의 서비스 환경 변화를 적응시킴으로써 사용자에게 최선의 서비스를 제공할 수 있어야 하며 상황 변화에 따른 하부 플랫폼의 동작에 서비스의 동작을 적응시킬 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자의 요구사항을 능동적으로 반영하고 사용자에게 유연한 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 상황 변화에 대한 동적인 응용 적응성을 지원하는 2-레벨 상황 적응 기법을 제안한다. 상황 적응성을 지원하기 위하여 상황의 범위를 사용자 요구사항으로 확대하여 응용 서비스 제공에 있어서 사용자의 선호도를 반영할 수 있도록 하였으며. 응용의 적응성은 적응 정책을 사용하여 발생할 수 있는 특정 상황에 대한 적응 방법을 명시적으로 요구함으로써 실제 상황이 발생했을 때 응용이 능동적으로 대처할 수 있도록 하였다.

계정 통합 시스템(SSO)은 다수의 웹사이트 계정 비밀번호를 통합 관리하기 때문에 높은 보안이 요구된다. 계정 통합 시스템을 이용하는 사용자는 웹사이트 로그인 시 주인증기관(IdP)을 통해 인증된다. 본 논문에서는 주인증기관 계정이 탈취된 사용자의 피해를 최소화하기 위하여 주인증기관이 취할 수 있는 보안 요구사항을 제시한다. 이를 만족하지 않을 시 발생하는 보안 위협을 설명한다. 실험을 통해 주인증기관이 보안 요구사항을 만족하지 않으면 사용자가 공격을 인지하더라도 공격자의 세션을 취소시킬 수 없음을 증명한다.

Recently IPTV service is penetrating to the ordinary home users very swiftly. One of the first phase of IPTV service is considered to be VoD, and a nationwide availability of the VoD service imposes tremendous pressure to the network resource due to its requirements for the broad bandwidth, the inherent nature of unicast technology, and the large scalability, etc. This work suggests a novel and practical method to the design of network resource for the VoD service. Especially, we explore the distributed content storage problem that takes into account the popularity of the video contents and its corresponding link dimensioning problem that takes into account the grade of service for the flow level quality of service about the VoD service. By assuming a realistic topology for the nationwide IP backbone network of Korea, which is a typical tree topology, we suggest an analytic method for the design of VoD service.

지능형 서비스 로봇(Intelligent Service Robots)이란 스스로 주변 환경을 모니터링 하고, 문제 상황 발생시 해결 방안을 마련하여 사용자에게 적절한 서비스들을 제공해 주는 로봇을 말한다. 그러나 로봇이 접할 수 있는 다양한 환경과 상황, 문제들을 미리 예측하여 필요한 모든 기능들을 내부에 포함시키기는 어렵다. 로봇 내부에는 환경에 맞는 필요한 기능들만 가지도록 하고, 필요에 따라 새로운 기능들을 증식 시켜 줄 수 있는 자가 성장 소프트웨어(Self-Growing Software)를 개발함으로써 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있다. 본 논문은 자가성장 소프트웨어가 외부로부터 필요 기능 수행을 위한 서브아키텍처(컴포넌트의 조합 패턴)의 획득을 브로커를 통해 수행 할 때, 기능적인 측면뿐 아니라 품질특성과 환경을 고려하여 적절한 서브아키텍처를 선택하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 사용자의 품질 요구를 고려하여 기능수행에 가장 적합한 서브아키텍처를 추론하기 위해 사용품질요구(Quality-Attributes In Use) 온톨로지를 구축하였고, 컴포넌트 조합 선택을 위해 추상화된 레벨 선택 및 구체적 레벨 선택의 2단계 선택 기법을 개발하였다 추상화된 레벨에서는 상위단계 목표를 기반으로 서브아키텍처의 특성들을 추론하고, 구체적 레벨에서는 컴포넌트 자체의 사용품질요구에 부합하는 특성들을 기반으로 실제 서브아키텍처를 검색한다. 이러한 방법을 통해 사용자의 목표나 상황에 따라 달라지는 품질 요구사항을 반영하여 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 또한, 로봇의 기능 증식 시에 사용자의 목표에 좀 더 부합하는 기능 선택이 가능하고, 사용자의 요구와 소프트웨어 기능 표현 및 해석상의 차이를 극복할 수 있다.

The National Health Insurance Service(NHIS) has been selectively covering the elderly on the dental implant and removable denture treatment and gradually expanding the eligibility criteria. Every dentist needs to have a good understanding of the insurance policy to provide qualified dental service to the beneficiaries and to avoid confusions and complications. In order to help dentists understand the NHIS requirements, the definitions, categories, and procedures of dental implant and conventional denture treatment are suggested.

Demand for rich media services is rapidly increasing and, as a result, several technologies are competing to deliver rich media services to mobile, resource-constrained devices. In this paper, we explore the existing rich media technologies and analyze their key features. In addition, in order to accommodate the new requirements introduced by emerging service models, such as service convergence, these technologies must evolve from their current status. We examine how the community intends to achieve this.

This paper considers the Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning mechanisms for the WDM burst switched ring networks. The loss-sensitive service and the delay-sensitive service are discussed. Considering their different requirements, different QoS provisioning schemes are proposed to provision them respectively. The proposed schemes are evaluated through simulation results.
