This paper presents UI4GSD (User Interface for Grid Service Development) for grid service developers that provides an efficient and friendly development environment based on Globus Toolkit 4, Normally, implementing grid service requires special expert knowledge for Grid as well as programming, Moreover, grid service development as well as testing of the deployed service in the Globus container takes a long Time, which makes the grid service implementation very inefficient, However, UI4GSD can automatically generate a grid service interface file, a build file, and grid service class files as well as a client class file, using the information supplied by developers through GUI. In UI4GSD, a grid service is developed easily based on typical five step processes with required input data fed at each step. As, a result, UI4GSD can provide an easy and convenient development environment thereby increasing the efficiency and convenience in developing grid services.

Purpose:This study aims to suggest the future direction for applying service design to improve the quality of healthcare as part of hospital service innovation and present implementation plans in Korea, based on a review of quality improvement activities and the current status of service design applications. Methods: Through a literature review, we examined the status of service design introduction and application in the healthcare field, focusing on cases in the US and Europe. The possibility and limitations of service design in the healthcare field were examined through a comparison of oversea and domestic cases. Results: Recently, service design has begun to be applied to the healthcare field worldwide. Service design shows the possibility of an alternative that alleviates and complements the limitations of existing quality improvement activities. It also offers the possibility of creating new organizational improvement and innovation approaches through integration and convergence with existing quality improvement activities and management innovation. Conclusion: To effectively apply service design to hospitals, it is necessary to integrate internal organizations related to service improvement, combine methods, and objectively measure and evaluate performance. To this end, we propose the operation of a nationwide education and training center for quality improvement and service design led by academic society. Service design will provide an opportunity to change the management innovation and organizational culture of hospitals beyond the scope of the current quality improvement, which deals only with micro-subjects of individual hospitals.

For the implementation of a multimdia cinference applications in a various communication network,the fun-damental conference services are needed.MCS(Multipoint Sdrvices)is remommended for this purpose.In this paper,the related papers are analyzed for the implementation of MCS that is recommended in inter-national standard for a multimedia confernece.Based on this,the algorithm is proposed and implemented in unix machine and Windows/NT machine.

Recent demands of market forces are causing considerable attention to be forced on logistics functions and revitalizing interest in outsourcing them. The need to efficiently and economically adjust support to meet market demands is growing significantly. Logistics is playing a role it has never played before. In light of this, outsourcing to third parties has become a strategic issue demanding greater attention in corporate boardrooms. From the perspective of TPL users, this paper focuses on how best to make a strategic plan for the effective utilization of TPL. And the results are as follows : First, after deciding their logistics outsourcing, the companies have to set up the aim of TPL through development of logistical strategies. Second, the companies must decide service provider that fits to their business environment and conditions. Third, they have to conclude a contract with logistics service provider. Fourth, after doing the preparatory implementation they carry into effect the original implementation. Fifth, they use the result of original implementation to fix a partnership.

This paper presents a new object model, LOM(Lightweight Object Model) and an implementation method for the distributed trader in heterogeneous distributed computing environment including mobile network. Trader is third party object that enables clients to find suitable servers, which provide the most appropriate services to client in distributed environment including dynamic reconfiguration of services and servers. Trading service requires simpler and more specific object model than genetic object models which provide richer multimedia data types and semantic characteristics with complex data structures. LOM supports a new reference attribute type instead of the relationship, inheritance and composite attribute types of the general object oriented models and so LOM has simple data structures. Also in LOM, the modelling step includes specifying of the information about users and the access right to objects for security in the mobile environment and development of the distributed storage for trading service. Also, we propose and implementation method of the distributed trader, which integrates the LOM-information object model and the OMG (object Management Group) computational object model.

In this era of globally competitive world market, many business firms have been using ISO 9000 quality management system, whose principles are leadership, customer focus, people involvement, etc., which are expected and desired to be attained for the various long/short term goals of the business firms. This paper studies whether and how those principles are implemented in the areas of service, manufacturing, etc., and researches the regression relations between business firm's performance and those principles. Using hypothesis testing, we found and showed results which can be referenced for the higher performance of business firms and those can be added to the pool of knowledge about the ISO principles implementation in service and manufacturing industries.

Science-based Industry which is future growth industry leading national competitiveness in knowledge-based society is highly science-dependent field when developing technologies. And highly science-based field is absolutely dependent on core scholarly papers. Due to researchers' need of academic papers related to developing technologies and advances of linking technologies, it is possible to link service between patents and scholarly papers. This paper's purpose is to describe on implementation linking service between EPO patent and papers that cited on search reports. First, it describe case study of other linking services. Second, it describes a kinds of data used in linking services. Lastly, it describe implementation of linking different kinds of contents (patents and papers) in KISTI.

The concept of Service Node as the network element which can provide the multiparty multimedia services based on the ISDN was presented in last study. In this study, a multiparty connection service system(Service Node and terminals) was designed using the concepts, procedure, function, and structure of Service Node given above. Based on this, a small scale experimental model giving multiparty call connection control and voice service control function was implemented and tested, which proved the applicability of the concept and validity of the procedure of the Service Node. The experimental model of service system for 4 subscriber capacity was composed of a Service Node emulator and terminals with general S-interface card. The goal of implementation and testing was concentrated of the verification of the proposed functions and procedures of service system and the test results told us that the proposed concept is adequate.

Examine method to improve web geography information service system because this paper uses XML and presented specific implementation result. Through internet, it planed various geography information that offer in form of service that do not receive restriction of heterogeneous system environment. Also, did thing that is easy when request service about geography information that user need and deliver fast by purpose. Supplement and to improve open-ended and XML of form normalized use and developed existent web geography information service. So that can use map service in web browser without setup of application program that buy expensive GIS software or offer in each company design and implement.

The primary objective of this research is to explain how to implement the Service Oriented Architecture (hereafter SOA) enabled Enterprise Resource Planning (hereafter ERP) system successfully for service industries. An implementation of the ERP system help many organizations to alleviate the difficult job of supporting inflexible or legacy systems that in most cases result in cost increases, data redundancy and inaccuracy, and various inefficiencies. However, the ERP system is losing its market share rapidly to the cloud computing system which utilizes the Software-as-a-service (hereafter SaaS) and SOA. The SOA is an approach to integrate various types of IT resources to leverage existing ERP system, while at the same time building an infrastructure that can readily respond to new business environment and offer new dynamic applications. The companies that implement this system have less of a need for the kinds of all-in-one ERP system that have dominated the back office for decades and can move freely to best-of-breed applications. This research will identify the benefits and costs of the SOA enabled ERP system through case studies and its impact on competitive priorities such as cost, quality, delivery, and flexibility.
