서비스디자인 품질요인과 유용성이 사용자만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Design Quality Factors and Availability on User Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 서비스디자인이 단순히 새로운 디자인 방법론이 아니라, 기존 유형의 시각화 중심의 디자인 관점을 서비스라는 무형의 관점으로 전환하는 디자인의 패러다임 변화를 제시하고, 증명하고자 하였다. 다양한 문헌연구를 기반으로 서비스 디자인을 정의하고 그 특징을 규명하여 기존 디자인적 접근과 사고와의 차이점 등을 증명하였다. 이를 위하여 서비스디자인에 대한 이론적 고찰과 프로세스와 방법론을 연구하였으며, 서비스디자인의 품질요인과 유용성, 사용자만족을 정의하였고, 입증할 가설을 세웠다. 본 연구는 서비스디자인 전문기업과 서비스디자이너, 그리고 그들의 고객들을 대상으로 하여 설문조사를 실시하였고, 설문결과를 기반으로 구조방정식을 통해서 가설을 검증하였다. 검증 결과 서비스디자인의 품질요인으로 신뢰성, 유형성, 확신성, 공감성을 검증하였고, 반응성은 품질요인에서 기각 되었다. 또한 품질요인이 유용성에 긍정의 영향을 미치고, 궁극적으로 사용자만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 정량적 연구결과는 서비스디자인을 받아들이는 디자인전문기업과 서비스 중심 디자인 환경으로 변화하는 관점에서 디자이너에게 시사하는 바가 있을 것이며, 디자인의 전략적 접근에 있어서 서비스 본질에 대한 이해의 중요성을 보여줄 것이다.

패션 제품 소셜 라이브 스트리밍 서비스(SLSS)의 인지적 공유를 통한 서비스품질 지각과 구매경험의 조절효과 (Perceived Service Quality through Cognitive Communion of Social Live Streaming Service (SLSS) of Fashion Product and Moderating Effect of Purchasing Experience)

  • Consumers' shopping experience has recently expanded to mobile and social networks; in addition, online fashion retailers started to focus on real-time interaction services as an emerging marketing tool. This study explores the consumer' shopping experience based on social live streaming services (SLSS) to investigate consumer's response behavior and effects through perceived service quality. An online survey method was conducted and a total of 186 female consumer panels were collected. The results indicate that cognitive communion of co-experience had a significant effect on perceived SLSS service quality (responsiveness, contents informativeness, playfulness, system availability). Service quality of SLSS (responsiveness, contents informativeness, and playfulness) had significant effect on trust in SLSS seller while system availability had no significant effect. Also, trust in seller showed significant effect on purchase intention. Last, it was confirmed that the moderating effect of purchasing experience of SLSS was significant in the relationship between cognitive communion and responsiveness/playfulness. There was also an additional significant moderating effect of purchasing experience between system availability and trust in seller.

네트워크 서비스의 가용도 향상를 위한 재활기법의 다중화 시스템 분석 (Analysis of Redundant System with Rejuvenation for High Availability of Networking Service)

  • 가용도는 사용자에게 고가용 서비스를 제공하는 네트워크 시스템의 주요 성능지표로서 임의의 시간에 사용자에게 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 확률이다. 네트워크 서비스의 가용도를 향상시키는 대표적인 방법으로 다중화 방식과 재활기법이 있다. 본 논문에서는 2N redundancy와 시간 기반의 재활기법이 가용도에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 2N redundancy는 active 시스템과 standby 시스템으로 구성하는 다중화 방식이다. 재활주기에 의존하는 시간기반의 재활기법이다. 본 논문은 시간기반의 재활기법을 적용한 2N redundnacy모델을 stochastic reward net으로 설계한다. 설계한 모델은 stochastic Petri net package를 이용하여 분석한다. 수치해석을 통해 재활기법을 적용한 시스템의 가용도가 적절한 주기에서 재활기법을 적용하지 않은 시스템의 가용도보다 높다는 것을 알 수 있다.

Design and Evaluation of a Dynamic Continuous Media Streaming Supporting Method on the basis of Logical Grid Hierarchy for MANETs

  • As wireless connectivity is integrated into many handheld devices, streaming multimedia content among mobile ad-hoc peers is becoming a popular application. In this paper, we propose a dynamic service replication algorithm for providing guaranteed continuous streaming services to all nodes in mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). First, a MANET is comprised of logical grid hierarchy, and a streaming service is replicated to a lower server region of the logical grid hierarchy by considering the link availability between a mobile node and the streaming server within a server region or the popularity of the streaming service. We evaluate analytically the performance of the proposed algorithm, and compared with that of existing Qin's algorithm. Evaluation results show that our algorithm can achieve better streaming performance than Qin's algorithm. Therefore, the proposed algorithm not only improves the sharing availability of replicated streaming services but also controls efficiently the number of streaming service replications.

  • RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintenance) has been applied to design and analysis tools which affects system's operational sustainability and its life cycle cost as RAM-c(2009 DoD). RAM-c plays also an important role to guarantee the system engineering for mission assurance. Reliability is highly related to the probability of system failure. Availability means mission capability or the condition of ready to mission. Maintenance includes both the repair to recover the system in the event of failure/unexpected breakdown and proactive maintenance to prolong the design service life of the system or machinery. It is the purpose that this paper is to analyze and conclude the objective service life of UAV. The more UAV is operated, the less the level of its reliability becomes. Repairing failures and supplying spare parts on time, system reliability could be improved up until the time over target. Applying statistical Weibull distributions, this paper suggests the analysis of the design service life and economic life of UAV based on RAM-c with operational data.

  • Recently IPTV service is penetrating to the ordinary home users very swiftly. One of the first phase of IPTV service is considered to be VoD, and a nationwide availability of the VoD service imposes tremendous pressure to the network resource due to its requirements for the broad bandwidth, the inherent nature of unicast technology, and the large scalability, etc. This work suggests a novel and practical method to the design of network resource for the VoD service. Especially, we explore the distributed content storage problem that takes into account the popularity of the video contents and its corresponding link dimensioning problem that takes into account the grade of service for the flow level quality of service about the VoD service. By assuming a realistic topology for the nationwide IP backbone network of Korea, which is a typical tree topology, we suggest an analytic method for the design of VoD service.

  • The distribution center location and routing problem involves interdependent decisions among facility, transportation, and inventory decisions. The design of distribution system affects the customers' purchase decision by sets the level of customer service to be offered. Thus the lower product availability may cause a loss of demand as falls off the customers' purchase intention, and this is related to the firm's profit reduction. This study considers the product availability of the distribution centers as the measure of the demand level change of the demand points, and represents relation between customer service and demand level with linear demand function. And this study represents the distribution center location and routing to demand point in order to maximize the total profit that considers the products' sales revenue by customer service, the production cost and the distribution system related costs.

A Systems Engineering Approach to Implementing Hardware Cybersecurity Controls for Non-Safety Data Network

  • A model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach to implementing hardware-based network cybersecurity controls for APR1400 non-safety data network is presented in this work. The proposed design was developed by implementing packet filtering and deep packet inspection functions to control the unauthorized traffic and malicious contents. Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack was considered as a potential cybersecurity issue that may threaten the data availability and integrity of DCS gateway servers. Logical design architecture was developed to simulate the behavior of functions flow. HDL-based physical architecture was modelled and simulated using Xilinx ISE software to verify the design functionality. For effective modelling process, enhanced function flow block diagrams (EFFBDs) and schematic design based on FPGA technology were together developed and simulated to verify the performance and functional requirements of network security controls. Both logical and physical design architectures verified that hardware-based cybersecurity controls are capable to maintain the data availability and integrity. Further works focus on implementing the schematic design to an FPGA platform to accomplish the design verification and validation processes.

  • Linux cluster Server makes a high performance PC cluster system, and provides scalablity and availability as compared with an expensive single server. In this paper, we design and implement a VOD streaming service system to serve video and audio streaming services on the Linux cluster server. Our Streaming server supports the MS Window Media Format based on the RTSP streaming protocol.

  • 국방부는 지난 2010년, '2012 정보화사업계획'의 일환으로 2014년까지 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술이 포함된 국방통합정보관리소(메가센터)를 구축하기로 결정하였고, 현재 추진 중에 있다 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경은 데이터 센터에 많은 IT 자원이 집약된 형태로 효율적인 인프라구조를 위한 기술과 정책을 적용하여 시스템을 설계해야 한다. 즉, 사용자의 요구를 만족 시키기 위해 클라우드 서비스를 효율적으로 제공하여야 하며, 시스템 구축 시 불필요하게 낭비되는 자원이 없게 설계되어야 한다. 그러나 최적 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 시스템 설계 최초단계에 서비스 성능과 자원 사용의 가용성을 예측할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 국방 클라우드 컴퓨팅 시스템의 서비스 가용성 예측을 위해 CloudAnalyst 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 현재 전 세계에서 가장 많은 사용자를 보유한 소설 네트워크 서비스 중 하나인 Facebook을 클라우드 모델링 및 분석하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 최적의 국방 클라우드 컴퓨팅 설계 모델을 제안한다.
