리눅스는 처음에는 공개용 운영체제였으나 점차 그 사용이 늘어나고 있어 현재는 서버 및 개인용 컴퓨터로도 사용되고 있는 효율적인 운영체제이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 국내의 카지노 업체의 외국인 카지노 관광객 유치 및 효율적인 영업 관리를 위해서 리눅스 서버 기반의 호텔 카지노 정보 시스템을 설계 구현 하고자 한다.

In this paper we introduce a design and implementation of an agent for multimedia retrieval and personalized broadcasting service. It is compliant with TV Anytime Forum specifications and supports searching location resolving, storing and streaming of remote multimedia contents. For this service, we implemented a contents server, a 메타데이터 database server, a location resolution server and a client terminal is implemented The Client terminal gathers content information by SOAP of operation, and it has a user preference module and usage history module that make user information. The personalize service agent recommends suitable contents to user by similarity algorithm.

In this paper, we design andimplement a prototype of the distant ITS (Intelligent tutoring system): English tutor which is running on the information superhighway. It is designed for the purpose of teaching the english conversation effectively to the students whose mother tongues are not english. The tutor could chosse appropriate tutoring strategies and teach the students effectively according to the contents of the student model. And also it is based on the remote data management client/Server model and implemented on SPARC station and pentium PC using oracle 7.3 and power Builder 5.0.

Because streaming mode connection server suitable to wide area ATM networks performs transmission, reception and lookup with time restriction for the transmission time of a cell, it has demerits of large cell loss incase that burst traffic occurs. Therefore, in this paper to decrease cell loss we propose a high speed CAM (Content Addressable Memory) which is capable of processing data of streaming mode connections server at a high speed. the proposed CAM is applied to forwarding table VPC map which performs function to output connection numbers about input VPI(Virtual Path Identifier)/VCI(Virtual Channel Identifier). The designed high speed CAM consist of DBL(Dual Bit Line) CAM structure performed independently write operation and match operation and two-port SRAM structure. Also, its simulation verification and full-custom layout is performed by Hspice and Composs tools in 0.8 .$\mu$m design rule.

The importance of security in WLAN(Wireless LAN) service is very critical, so IEEE organization has made the IEEE 802.1x standard. The IEEE 802.1x standard uses the EAP as authentication protocol which requires AAA(Authentication, authorization, and Accounting) server for authentication & accounting. for the reliable and scalable AAA service, the Diameter protocol has more advanced characteristics than existing radius protocol. So the Diameter protocol can be used for WLAN service provider who has large scale WLAN system and a large number of subscriber. This paper proposes the design of Diameter AAA server for the authentication and accounting of WLAN system which is adopting IEEE 802.1x standard.

This paper describes the motivation, design and performance of bi-active Load balancer in Linux Virtual Server. The goal of bi-active Load balancer is to provide a framework to build highly scalable, fault-tolerant services using a large cluster of commodity servers. The TCP/IP stack of Linux Kernel is extended to support three IP load balancing techniques, which can make parallel services of different kinds of server clusters to appear as a service on a single IP address. Scalability is achieved by transparently adding or removing a node in the cluster. and high availability is provided by detecting node or daemon failures and reconfiguring the system appropriately. Extensive simulation reveals that the proposed approach improves the reply rate about 20% compared to earlier design.

본 논문은 지역적으로 산재한 대규모의 인터넷 사용자에게 안정적인 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스를 지원할 수 있는 대용량 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서버 플랫폼을 설계한 후 구현하고, 가상 클라이언트 트래픽 생성기를 통하여 구현된 서버에 부하를 가했을 때 서버가 안정적으로 동작함을 보여줌으로서 대용량 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서버의 설계 및 구현의 안정성을 입증하고자 한다.

In this paper, we design and implement a partial denoising boundary matching system using indexing techniques. Converting boundary images to time-series makes it feasible to perform a fast search using indexes even on a very large image database. Thus, using this converting method we develop a client-server system based on the previous partial denoising research in the GUI(graphical user interface) environment. The client first converts a query image given by a user to a time-series and sends denoising parameters and the tolerance with this time-series to the server. The server identifies similar images from the index by evaluating a range query, which is constructed using inputs given from the client and sends the resulting images to the client. Experimental results show that our system provides many intuitive and accurate matching results.

인터넷 기술의 발전과 함께 급진전한 디지털경제는 그 적용분야에 따라 B2B, B2C, A2B등의 많은 부류를 형성하였다. 또한, 고객의 요구사항에 맞추어 전자상거래 시스템 구축기술도 객체지향기반에서 컴포넌트기반의 개발방법으로 도입되고 있으며, 개발환경은 기존의 C/S(Client/Server)환경에서 3-Tier, 웹 기반 아키텍처등으로 변화, 도입되고 있다. 이러한 배경으로 본 논문은 전자상거래에 사용될 수 있는 좌석 예약 및 확인 시스템을 다중서버환경에서 구현하였다. 이는, 분산환경에서 효율성을 높이기 위해 해당 중요 로직은 서버 컴포넌트 모델인 EJB를 활용하였고, Main Server를 위해 Resin Server환경의 Servlet을 이용한JSP와Java를 통하여 구현하였다. 따라서, EJB를 이용한 독립 컴포넌트를 통하여 전자상거래 시스템 로직사이의 독려성을 높였으며, 분산된 EJB서버를 통하여 해당 메소드를 호출함으로써 서버의 부하를 줄이고, 각 로직자원들을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 하였다.
