This paper presents a new approach for determining an accurate incentive levels of Direct Load Control (DLC) program using sequential Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) techniques. The economic analysis of DLC resources needs to identify the hourly-by-hourly expected energy-not-served resulting from the random outage characteristics of generators as well as to reflect the availability and duration of DLC resources, which results the computational explosion. Therefore, the conventional methods are based on the scenario approaches to reduce the computation time as well as to avoid the complexity of economic studies. In this paper, we have developed a new technique based on the sequential MCS to evaluate the required expected load control amount in each hour and to decide the incentive level satisfying the economic constraints. In addition, the mathematical formulation for DLC programs' economic evaluations are developed. To show the efficiency and effectiveness of the suggested method, the numerical studies have been performed for the modified IEEE reliability test system.

In this paper, we developed a delay test architecture and test procedure for clocked sequential circuit. In addition, we analyze the problems of conventional and previous method on delay test for clocked sequential circuit in IEEE 1149.1. This paper discusses several problems of Delay test on IEEE 1149.1 for clocked sequential circuit. Previous method has some problems of improper capture timing, of same pattern insertion, of increase of test time. We suggest a method called ARCH-S, is based on a clock counting technique to generate continuous clocks for clocked input of CUT. A 4-bit counter is selected for the circuit under test. The simulation results ascertain the aecurate operation and effectiveness of the proposed architecture.
Internet of Things (IoT) is considered the future network to support wireless communications. To realize an IoT network, sufficient spectrum should be allocated for the rapidly increasing IoT devices. Through cognitive radio, unlicensed IoT devices exploit cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) to opportunistically access a licensed spectrum without causing harmful interference to licensed primary users (PUs), thereby effectively improving the spectrum utilization. However, an open access cognitive IoT allows abnormal IoT devices to undermine the CSS process. Herein, we first establish a hard-combining attack model according to the malicious behavior of falsifying sensing data. Subsequently, we propose a weighted sequential hypothesis test (WSHT) to increase the PU detection accuracy and decrease the sampling number, which comprises the data transmission status-trust evaluation mechanism, sensing data availability, and sequential hypothesis test. Finally, simulation results show that when various attacks are encountered, the requirements of the WSHT are less than those of the conventional WSHT for a better detection performance.

The paper proposes a test pattern generator and a signature analyzer for pseudoexhaustive testing of the combinational circuit part within a sequential circuit when performing built-in self test of the circuit. The test pattern generator can scan in the seed test pattern and generate exhaustive test patterns. The signature analyzer can perform the analysis of the circuit response and scan out the result. Such test pattern generator and signature analyzer have been developed using SRL(shift register latch) and LFSR(linear feedback shift register).
This paper presents sequential sampling plans for evaluating the pest density based on complete counts from probe in a rice storage warehouse. Both maize weevil and Indian meal moth population showed negative binomial dispersion patterns in brown rice storage. For cost-effective monitoring and action decision making system, sequential sampling plans by using the sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) were developed for the maize weevil and Indian meal moth in warehouses with 0.8 M/T storage bags. The action threshold for the two insect pests was estimated to 5 insects per kg, which was projected by a matrix model. The results show that, using SPRT methods, managers can make decisions using only 20 probe with a minimum risk of incorrect assessment.
Regression analysis is useful to understand the relationship of variables; however, we need to test if the slope of each regression lines is the same when comparing several populations. This paper suggests a new parallelism test for several linear regression lines. We use F-test of ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis (1952) tests after obtaining slope estimator from a sequential slope. In addition, a Monte Carlo simulation study is adapted to compare the power of the proposed methods with those of Park and Kim (2009).

In this paper, we propose a displacement measurement method based on deep learning using image data obtained from tensile tests of a material specimen. We focus on the fact that the sequential images during the tension are generated and the displacement of the specimen is represented in the image data. So, we designed sample generation model which makes sequential images of specimen. The behavior of generated images are similar to the real specimen images under tensile force. Using generated images, we trained and validated our model. In the deep neural network, sequential images are assigned to a multi-channel input to train the network. The multi-channel images are composed of sequential images obtained along the time domain. As a result, the neural network learns the temporal information as the images express the correlation with each other along the time domain. In order to verify the proposed method, we conducted experiments by comparing the deformation measuring performance of the neural network changing the displacement range of images.
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to suggest an environmental test plan for reducing early failure. Methods: We study the preferred test design and tests that are performed substantially in the company. We investigate the environmental profile on the actual supply chain and identify the effectiveness for this test design. Results: Proposed sequential test designed to implement the supply chain on the environment profile showed more effective results compared to existing tests. Conclusion: Suggested sequential test in this paper will be an effective guidance for the given environment test.

The classical method for regression analysis is the least squares method. However, if the data contain significant outliers, the least squares estimator can be broken down by outliers. To remedy this problem, the robust methods are important complement to the least squares method. Robust methods down weighs or completely ignore the outliers. This is not always best because the outliers can contain some very important information about the population. If they can be detected, the outliers can be further inspected and appropriate action can be taken based on the results. In this paper, I propose a sequential outlier test to identify outliers. It is based on the nonrobust estimate and the robust estimate of scatter of a robust regression residuals and is applied in forward procedure, removing the most extreme data at each step, until the test fails to detect outliers. Unlike other forward procedures, the present one is unaffected by swamping or masking effects because the statistics is based on the robust regression residuals. I show the asymptotic distribution of the test statistics and apply the test to several real data and simulated data for the test to be shown to perform fairly well.
We introduce the more informative sequential probability ratio test(SPRT) than currently used SPRT. Though the proposed SPRT shares similar mathematical properties with the ordinary SPRT, it is less affected by the outliers and even it indicates possible existence of such outliers. Futhermore, it responds to the changes among observations more quickly than the ordinary SPRT.
