This study is to understand the current situation of the Seoul Collection and suggest market oriented strategies in order to establish a more effective fashion market. Three elements-time, form, and, place-were defined to analyse the dynamics of the collection and two factors-customer/competitor oriented information and information interaction among participants-were employed to evaluate the Seoul collection toward market orientation. The data were collected from the collection participants via an in-depth interview. The identified major market factors were: 1. Time-In order to create a desirable market, the opening time of the Seoul Collection needs to be rescheduled in accordance with the openings of other countries. Also the time must be suitable to the buyer's movement. 2. Product-Products which did not meet the needs of the market and their unrealistically high prices were two main factors that hindered sales. 3. Place-Although the place was a vital factor to the success of the collection, the facility was not fully a suitable location for buyers to place orders. Additionally, the analyzed data indicated the low market-oriented Seoul collection. Vital to elevating the Seoul Collection to meet the global standard, therefore, more practical research and merchandise planning should be arranged in advance.

The Electrostatic Precipitator is one of the most favorable device of particulate control systems because of the relatively higher collection efficiency and easier operation/maintenance. However, it requires very high initial coat especially for discharging electrodes and collecting plates. In dealing with such problems, development of optimum design can be one of the solutions. In this study, a bench-scale electrostatic precipitator was operated in terms of collection area and corona power, and its performances were analyzed focusing on collection efficiency. A result of this study, a more advanced approach for designing cost-effective precipitator by promoting corona power at a minimized collection area was proposed.

본 연구의 목적은 도서관 자료서비스의 중요성에 입각하여 서울시 공공도서관의 자료서비스 활성화 방안을 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 시도별 공공도서관의 핵심인프라, 자료서비스 및 프로그램의 이용실적, 그리고 핵심인프라 및 이용실적의 상관관계를 분석하여 서울시 공공도서관 자료서비스의 현주소를 평가하였다. 이러한 분석 및 평가결과를 바탕으로 서울시 공공도서관의 자료서비스를 활성화하기 위한 5가지 방안을 제시하였다. 서울시의 모든 공공도서관은 신착자료의 노출력(가시성)을 극대화하고, 장서기반의 문화(평생학습)프로그램을 제공하며, 도서관 협력시스템을 구축하여 외연을 확대하고, 공동보존서고를 건립하여 상호대차를 강화하며, 대중의 공공도서관 및 장서 인식도를 제고시켜야 한다.

This study investigates the analysis on the acceptance of Foreign Fashion trends in Korean Fashion Collection by collections, years, season, and designers. The purpose of this study is Korean collection's degree to adopt and receive foreign collections, by comparative analysis of design features between Seoul and foreign collections. For such purpose, from 2006 S/S to 2011 F/W, 5185 pictures were collected from designer's photos of Seoul, Paris, Milan, NY, and London collections. The content analysis and statistical analysis using SPSS will be conducted for data analysis. The results of the research are as follows. First, regarding the design features, square-form silhouette, achromatic colors, and none pattern were presented as well. Second, there were significant differences in the design characteristics of each year. Particularly, in 2008, X-form silhouette, Yellow and Green color, and flower pattern were emphasized. Third, the design features by season were significant differences. In S/S season, square-form and X-form silhouette, achromatic colors of white and gray color, none pattern were evident while in F/W season, square-form Silhouette, achromatic colors of black and gray, and none pattern were emphasized. Fourth, the design features by designer are as follows. In terms of form, Seoul collection was influenced by Paris collection. In terms of colors, it was influenced by NY and London collections.

서울시 25개 자치구는 수거거점 확보, 수거시스템과 처리시스템의 연결, 간이 선별 등을 목적으로 생활폐기물 적환장을 운영하고 있다. 그러나 적환장시스템이 효율적으로 운영 가능한 총운반거리 등 구체적인 적환장 운영조건에 대해 분석한 국내사례는 없다. 본 연구는 적환장 운영 여부, 발생원으로부터 적환장까지의 운반거리, 적환장의 건물형태 등을 변화시키면서 수거비용의 변화를 관찰하였다. 그 결과 적환장이 쓰레기 배출원에 근접할수록, 적환장의 건설비가 저렴할수록 수거비용은 감소하였고, 건물 없는 적환장의 확보가 가능한 지역은 총운반거리가 15 km이상만 되어도 적환장을 운영하는 것이 운영하지 않는 경우보다 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 지하시설물로 적환장을 확보해야하는 지역에서는 유효한 총운반거리가 35 km이상으로 늘어났다.

Characteristics of seed and plant growth of the nine local collections of the medicinal plant, Agastache rugosa were evaluated. Seed size of the collection from Garyungsan was larger than the others. Seeds of Damyang collection were the smallest in size. Seeds of the collections were mostly oval shaped. There were no differences between brown and black seed coat color groups in seed width, ratio of seed length to seed width and 1,000 seed weight. Stem lengths of Garyungsan and Bongpyung collections were 99.9 and 95.6 cm, respectively, and were longer than Damyang and Jindo collections. Garyungsan collection had long leaf shape. Leaf size was the smallest for Damyang collection, but was the largest for Bongpyung collection. Inflorescence length of Mokpo collection (15.6 cm) was longer than the average over all collections (12.3 cm). Damyang collection was the shortest (10.1 cm) in inflorescence. Top dry weight of each collection from Soonchun, Bongpyung, Mokpo, Jindo, and Gurye was greater than the average over all collections (20.38 g/plant). Jinju and Damyang collections had less top dry matter than others. There was no difference in the growth traits examined between brown and black seed coat groups. The brown seed group was greater in leaf weight than the black seed group. However, these two groups were not different in stem and inflorescence weight. Collections of A. rugosa from Bongpyung, Soonchun, and Mokpo were promising for commercial cultivation because of their great top dry weight, especially in leaf and inflorescence.

16 chicken isolates and four clinical isolates of VanB-vanA incongruent vancomycinresistant Enterococcus faecium strains without vanS were isolated in 1999. Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis revealed only a peripheral relationship between the chicken isolates and clinical isolates, but suggested clonal spread in the chicken isolates.

공공도서관은 방문하는 이용자들의 배경이 다양하고 도서관을 찾는 목적 또한 다양하기 때문에 모든 이용자의 요구를 충분히 만족시키기에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위한 노력으로 공공도서관 자료의 만족 수준을 높일 수 있는 장서개발 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 공공도서관의 장서개발을 위해 서울특별시 소재 구립 공공도서관 10개관 이용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이용자의 장서이용행태를 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 서울시 구립 공공도서관을 위한 장서개발의 방향을 제시하였다.

Purpose: The Korea Oral Biobank Network (KOBN) was established in 2021 as a branch of the Korea Biobank Network under the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide infrastructure for the collection, management, storage, and utilization of human bioresources from the oral cavity and associated clinical data for basic research and clinical studies. Methods: To address the need for the unification of the biobanking process, the KOBN organized the concept review for all the processes. Results: The KOBN established standard operating procedures for the collection, processing, and storage of oral samples. Conclusions: The importance of collecting high-quality bioresources to generate accurate and reproducible research results has always been emphasized. A standardized procedure is a basic prerequisite for implementing comprehensive quality management of biological resources and accurate data production.

Iron increased the susceptibilities of clinical isolates Pseudomonas aeruginosa to quinolones. In the presence of iron, increased susceptibilities to ofloxacin were observed in twenty-six out of thirty isolates and with no change in four isolates. In the case of norfloxacin, iran increased susceptibilities of twelve isolates but did not render any change in eighteen isolates. In the case of ciprofloxacin, iron decreased the MICs (Minimal Inhibitory Concentration) of twenty isolates, increased the MIC of one isolate, and did net change the MICs of nine isolates. To find out how iron increased susceptibility to ofloxacin, bacterial cells were grown in Muller Hinton (MH) media and succinate minimal media (SMM) to induce iran acquisition systems and the intracellular ofloxacin concentrations were assayed in the presence of iron. The addition of iron to the media decreased the MICs of cells whether they were grown in MH or SMM. Siderophores, carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (an inhibiter of proton motive force), and ouabain (an inhibitor of ATPase) did not decrease the effect of iron. Results suggested that the increase in the intracellular ofloxacin concentration by iron is accomplished not by decreasing the efflux but by increasing the of ofloxacin permeability.
