메타버스와 오프라인 스토어의 브랜드 체험 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Brand Experiences of Metaverse and Offline Stores)

  • 최근 패션 브랜드들이 사용자들의 능동적 참여가 가능한 메타버스 플랫폼을 자사의 브랜드 접점으로 활용하기 위한 방안을 모색하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 메타버스와 오프라인 스토어에서의 브랜드 체험을 비교하고자 한다. 패션 브랜드 젠틀몬스터의 오프라인 스토어과 이를 메타버스 공간에 그대로 재현한 제페토(ZEPETO) 스토어의 브랜드 체험을 비교하였다. 실험 참가자 집단을 메타버스 스토어 체험이 선행된 집단과 오프라인 스토어 체험이 선행된 집단으로 구분하여 현장 조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과, 다음과 같은 주요 연구결과를 도출할 수 있었다: (1) 전체 체험 반응에서 감성 보다는 새로운 정보에 반응하는 감각 체험이 주를 이루었다; (2) 메타버스보다는 제품을 직접 만지고 체험할 수 있는 오프라인 스토어에서 체험이 더욱 활발하게 이루어졌다; (3) 네 가지의 테마공간 유형 중에서는 제품 공간에서 가장 많은 체험 반응이 나타났다; (4) 오프라인 스토어 체험이 선행된 두 번째 그룹보다 메타버스 스토어 체험이 선행된 첫 번째 그룹에서 보다 활발한 체험 반응이 일어났다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 통해 가상공간에서의 메타버스 브랜드 스토어가 현실 공간의 시공간적 제약을 뛰어넘은 차별화된 경험을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 오프라인 스토어의 경험을 더욱 의미 있고 풍부하게 만들어 주는 전략적 도구로 활용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

고령자의 신체특성을 반영한 전시시설 환경디자인 체크리스트 적용현황 비교분석 -한국과 일본을 중심으로- (Comparative Analysis of Environment Design Checklist at Exhibition Facilities Based on Physical Characteristics of the Elder - Focused on Korea and Japan-)

  • 본 연구는 증가하는 전시시설 고령관람자들의 신체 특성을 반영한 환경디자인 체크리스트를 이용하여 한국과 일본 전시시설의 적용현황을 비교분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 한국과 일본을 대표하는 국·공립 박물관 8곳 (역사계 4곳, 미술계 4곳)을 선정하고 전시 시설을 직접 방문하여 체크리스트 적용 현황을 파악하였다. 전시시설의 공간범위는 진입공간, 전시공간, 교육활동공간, 공공서비스공간, 이동공간으로 구분되며 고령자의 신체특성은 감각영역(시각, 청각, 촉각, 후각, 미각), 운동영역(골격, 근력, 체력)으로 구분된다. 체크리스트에 근거하여 설치, 부분설치, 미설치로 구분하여 해당점수를 부여하여 평균값으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 한국과 일본 전시시설 모두 평균값 이상의 비슷한 수준으로 나타나 전반적으로 고령자의 신체특성을 반영한 환경디자인이 시설 내에 적용되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 두 번째, 평가 점수가 낮게 나타난 전시공간과 교육활동공간은 대부분 권장항목으로 구성되어 있었고 대부분 부분설치 또는 미설치로 나타나 이에 대한 대비가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 세 번째, 고령자의 신체특성 중 감각영역(청각)에 해당하는 항목의 설치가 특히 미비한 것으로 나타났고 음성안내, 긴급호출벨, 보청설비 등 추가 시설이 보완이 이루어져야 할 것으로 판단된다. 네 번째, 전시시설의 건립시기, 리모델링 시기에 따라 체크리스트 평가점수가 다르게 나타나며, 역사계와 미술계 전시시설의 특성에 따라서도 점수가 다소 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

편측 무시 환자에서 시각 정보 차단이 머리 위치 정렬에 미치는 영향: 사례 연구 (The Effect of Visual Cue Deprivation for the Head Alignment on Unilateral Neglect Patient: Case Report)

  • PURPOSE: The Unilateral neglect is characterized by difficulty shifting attention to the side of space opposite the brain lesion and frequently reducing use of contralesional extremities. This study was to identify whether the visual deprivation was responsible for head position on unilateral neglect patient after stroke. METHODS: A patient with left middle cerebral artery infarction participated in the study. We assessed neglect using line bisection and star cancellation test. Patient was instructed to maintain correct alignment of trunk and head in a sit position. We evaluated degree of head lateral tilting and rotation. Then, patient was blocked visual input. Also, we evaluated head position in the same way. RESULTS: He scored 3 points in the line bisection test and 9 points star cancellation test. In postural evaluation, he had deviated posture such as lateral head tilting and rotation. After visual cue deprivation, patient showed different head position which was decreased degree of head tilting and rotation. CONCLUSION: For vertical body orientation, it was used multiple sensory references including the vestibular, somatosensory, and visual system. This finding suggested that abnormal posture of neglect patient could be related to the visual input. It has important clinical implications in terms of understanding the neglect.

샤넬 컬렉션에 나타난 인터미디어와 패션쇼의 관계적 특성 (Relationship characteristics of intermedia and fashion show in the Chanel collection)

  • The aim of this paper is to examine relationship characteristics and the relevance there of in the context of the Chanel collection, between the contemporary fashion show viewed from the artistic side and intermedia on interaction. This study analyzed the relationship characteristics between intermedia and fashion shows by focusing on Chanel fashion shows from 2010 S/S to 2016 F/W as actual case. The results are as follow: First, participational accessibility indicates the experience of a designer and audience in active participation changing into passive participation. Second, audience immersion is represented by the perception of being involved by the audience in the place and acting. Third, conceptual symbolism is sending of messages through the designer's concept manifesting in the specific features of the design. Finally, expandability of media explains trans-boundaries in experimental attempts. It concludes that fashion show is a space where the audience can have visual as well as new knowledge and experience through multi-sensory channels. The Chanel collection which is considered a huge art project at the fashion show, showed a relationship between philosophy and the direction through season concepts and brands. The Chanel collection has brought a new experience through the convergence of communications and cultural media, such as music and art according to traditional brand image.

Acute Motor Weakness of Opposite Lower Extremity after Percutaneous Epidural Neuroplasty

  • Recently, percutaneous epidural neuroplasty has become widely used to treat radicular pain caused by spinal stenosis or a herniated intervertebral disc. A 19-year-old female patient suffering from left radicular pain caused by an L4-L5 intervertebral disc herniation underwent percutaneous epidural neuroplasty of the left L5 nerve root using a Racz catheter. After the procedure, the patient complained of acute motor weakness in the right lower leg, on the opposite site to where the neuroplasty was conducted. Emergency surgery was performed, and swelling of the right L5 nerve root was discovered. The patient recovered her motor and sensory functions immediately after the surgery. Theoretically, the injection of a large volume of fluid in a patient with severe spinal stenosis during epidural neuroplasty can increase the pressure on the opposite side of the epidural space, which may cause injury of the opposite nerve by barotrauma from a closed compartment. Practitioners should be aware of this potential complication.

구강 내 접근과 하악하 절개를 통한 몰입성 하마종의 수술적 치료 (Surgical Treatment of a Plunging Ranula using the Intraoral and Submandibular Approach)

  • Purpose: A plunging ranula is relatively uncommon and represents a mucus escape reaction occurring from a disruption of the sublingual salivary gland. It is a common condition found in young adults, even though the reported age range is 2 - 61 years. We report our experience of a complete excision of a plunging ranula via the intraoral and submandibular approach. Methods: A 23-year-old man had a large protruding mass in the right submandibular area. Initially, the protruding mass appeared bilaterally but the left side disappeared spontaneously. The MRI findings revealed a homogenous fluid attenuation mass in the submandibular space, suggesting a ranula. The sublingual gland was extirpated through the intraoral approach and the ranula excised totally via the submandibular approach. Results: The patient had an uneventful postoperative course without infection, paralysis and tongue sensory changes, etc. The pathology findings were characteristic of a pseudocyst without a lining epithelium or endothelium but with a vascular fibro-conective tissue wall filled with mucinous fluid. No recurrence was observed on the submandibular area during the 8 month follow-up period. Conclusion: The combined intraoral approach and submandibular approach is an effective and highly recommended method for sublingual gland extirpation and complete excision of a plunging ranula.

Sparganosis Presenting as Cauda Equina Syndrome with Molecular Identification of the Parasite in Tissue Sections

  • A 52-year-old woman presented with lower back pain, progressive symmetrical paraparesis with sensory impairment, and sphincter disturbance. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the whole spine revealed multiple intradural extramedullary serpiginous-mass lesions in the subarachnoid space continuously from the prepontine to the anterior part of the medulla oblongata levels, C7, T2-T8, and T12 vertebral levels distally until the end of the theca sac and filling-in the right S1 neural foramen. Sparganosis was diagnosed by demonstration of the sparganum in histopathological sections of surgically resected tissues and also by the presence of serum IgG antibodies by ELISA. DNA was extracted from unstained tissue sections, and a partial fragment of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (cox1) gene was amplified using a primer set specific for Spirometra spp. cox1. After sequencing of the PCR-amplicon and alignment of the nucleotide sequence data, the causative agent was identified as the larva of Spirometra erinaceieuropaei.

도서관 열람환경에서의 어린이 인지정보처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on Interpretations of Children's Cognitive Information Processing in Reading Environment of Library)

  • The library means to children a place where they find information necessary for them among a variety of knowledge and information to address their intellectual curiosity, which makes their lives wise and mature. There are not enough research materials understanding children's cognitive systems and behaviors in studies of a children's library with this necessity. This study divided and analyzed the behaviors of children, who were users into three types of reading in terms of information processing. First, it observed the types of reading depending on the stage of their cognitive development; Second, it analyzed the patterns of their behaviors through plays; and lastly, it presented the phases of their behaviors depending on the degree of an assistant's intervention. As a result of the study, the sensory system used and the space preferred differed depending on the stage of their cognition; there were differences in the patterns of their behaviors in each age group depending on the type of play; and there were differences in the children's ability of information processing depending on the assistant's ability. It is anticipated that there will be improvements of children's reading ability at the reading room in a better environment if the three types are considered in terms of information processing.

척추관 협착증 환자에서 전 경막외강 세정요법 (Anterior Epidural Irrigation in a Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Patient)

  • Background: Pain due to spinal stenosis is one of the major causes of low back pain, and it sometimes does not respond to conservative treatment. We postulated that anterior epidural irrigation could be a good choice for treating lumbar spinal stenosis patients. However, the effects and theoretical basis of anterior epidural irrigation have not been investigated for spinal stenosis. So, this study was designed to identify the clinical efficacy of anterior epidural irrigation for treating lumbar spinal stenosis. Methods: 71 patients with lumbar spinal stenosis underwent anterior epidural irrigation. Anterior epidural irrigation was performed with normal saline and a mixture of local anesthetic with steroid through a catheter under fluoroscopic guidance. The findings were evaluated with using visual analogue scales for low back pain and leg symptoms. Results: Relief from low back pain and leg pain was observed for up to 12 months after anterior epidural irrigation. None of the patients showed any deterioration of their motor or sensory deficits during follow up. Conclusions: Anterior epidural irrigation is effective for the relief of back and leg pain in spinal stenosis patients.

가상해저공간에서 Artificial Fish의 사실적인 행동 생성을 위한 운동학적 접근 (Kinematic Access For Generation of Realistic Behavior of Artificial Fish in Virtual Merine World)

  • 실시간으로 렌더링 되는 인터렉티브한 3D 가상공간에서 객체들은 일정한 조건을 고려한 이 벤트 발생에 따라 상호작용이 가능하다. 그러나 이러한 상호작용의 행동 표현을 위해서는 이벤트의 조건과 행동 패턴들이 거의 일대일 대응되어야 한다. 이는 미리 규정한 패턴 수가 미흡할 때 사실적인 행동을 하지 못하며 다양한 행동패턴의 표현을 위해서는 그 만큼 고려되어야하는 이벤트의 조건이 늘어나게 되므로 전체 시스템의 복잡도를 증가시키는 문제점을 야기한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 탄성 모멘텀을 이용한 물리학적 접근 방법을 적용하고 가변형 다중 센서를 이용하여 Artificial Fish의 움직임을 보다 사실적으로 표현할 수 있고 하나의 회피 이벤트에 대해 다양한 행동 패턴 생성이 가능한 새로운 방법을 제시한다.
