  • Recent advances in wireless communication technology promotes many researches related to sensor network and brings several proposals to fit into various types of sensor network communication. The research direction for sensor network is divided into the method to maximize an energy efficiency and security researches that has not been remarkable so far. To maximize an energy efficiency, the methods to support data aggregation and cluster-head selection algorithm are proposed. To strengthen the security, the methods to support encryption techniques and manage a secret key that is applicable to sensor network are proposed, In. However, the combined method to satisfy both energy efficiency and security is in the shell. This paper is devoted to design the protocol that combines an efficient clustering protocol with key management algorithm that is fit into various types of sensor network communication. This protocol may be applied to sensor network systems that deal with sensitive data.

  • Research of ubiquitous computing becomes more popular topic along with the rapid development of wireless technologies. Firstly, research and development on RFID focuses on manufacturing and retail sectors, because it can improve supply chain efficiency. But, it changes to USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) by adding a sensor and wireless network technologies on it. In this research, we design and implement the electric facility management service framework to collect real time information of electric facility using RFID/USN. In electric power industry, it is important the supply of energy must be guaranteed. So many power utilities control and supervise the transmission line to avoid power failures. Utilities install many types of sensor to monitor important facilities by wired network such as optical cable and PLC. In this research, we develop the sensor node which is small, easy to install and using wired network. We design the service framework for electric facility management to collect data using RFID tag, reader and wireless sensor nodes and implement the electric facility management service.

The system is consists of sensor manager for information processing, an environment database that stores information collected from sensors, the GUI of show the greenhouse status, it gather soil and environment information to soil and environment(including weather) sensors, growth measurement sensor. In addition to support that soil information service shows the temperature, moisture, EC, ph of soil to user through the interaction of obtained data and Complex Growth Environment information service for quality and productivity can prevention and response by growth disease or disaster of greenhouse agro-industry items how temperature, humidity, illumination acquiring informationin greenhouse(strawberry, ginseng). To verify the executability of the system, constructing the complex growth environment measurement system using wireless sensor network in greenhouse and we confirmed that it is can provide our optimized growth environment information.

  • In this study, we focus on the improvement of data quality transmitted from a weather buoy that guides a route of ships. The buoy has an Internet-of-Thing (IoT) including sensors to collect meteorological data and the buoy's status, and it also has a wireless communication device to send them to the central database in a ground control center and ships nearby. The time interval of data collected by the sensor is irregular, and fault data is often detected. Therefore, this study provides a framework to improve data quality using machine learning models. The normal data pattern is trained by machine learning models, and the trained models detect the fault data from the collected data set of the sensor and adjust them. For determining fault data, interquartile range (IQR) removes the value outside the outlier, and an NGBoost algorithm removes the data above the upper bound and below the lower bound. The removed data is interpolated using NGBoost or long-short term memory (LSTM) algorithm. The performance of the suggested process is evaluated by actual weather buoy data from Korea to improve the quality of 'AIR_TEMPERATURE' data by using other data from the same buoy. The performance of our proposed framework has been validated through computational experiments based on real-world data, confirming its suitability for practical applications in real-world scenarios.

  • A novel authentication mechanism is biometric authentication where users are identified by their measurable human characteristics, such as fingerprint, voiceprint, and iris scan. The technology of biometrics is becoming a popular method for engineers to design a more secure user authentication scheme. In terms of physiological and behavioral human characteristics, biometrics is used as a form of identity access management and access control, and it services to identity individuals in groups that are under surveillance. In this article, we review the biometric-based authentication protocol by Althobati et al. and provide a security analysis on the scheme. Our analysis shows that Althobati et al.'s scheme does not guarantee server-to-user authentication. The contribution of the current work is to demonstrate this by mounting threat of data integrity and bypassing the gateway node on Althobati et al.'s scheme. In addition, we analysis the security vulnerabilities of Althobati et al.'s protocol.

  • In this paper, Though sensors of Ubiquitous Middle-ware System based on RFID/USN can usually be reacted from six mouths to two years, they can be exhausted their power of storage battery only one day by communication rates and ranges. That is, the lifetime of sensor node is depended on how much spending power under wireless communication that can communicate its sensing data to its destination. Therefore, it is necessary that each sensor should be designed the Routing path to its destination, in order to remote collecting data. But, in order to improve lifetime of sensor node and modify inner setting, it is opposite to simple searching path method of sensor node by entering external commands. accordingly, 1:n sensor arrangement of n form command and data send-receive that is possible simulation do without interference other sensors and research to different sensor data analysis and conversion ways to convert Sensing data that accept from sensors to actuality information.

  • Recent advancement in wireless communications and electronics has enabled the development of low power sensor network. Wireless sensor network are often used in remote monitoring control applications, health care, security and environmental monitoring. Wireless sensor networks are an emerging technology consisting of small, low-power, and low-cost devices that integrate limited computation, sensing, and radio communication capabilities. Sensor network platform for health care has been designed, fabricated and tested. This system consists of an embedded micro-controller, Radio Frequency (RF) transceiver, power management, I/O expansion, and serial communication (RS-232). The hardware platform uses Atmel ATmega128L 8-bit ultra low power RISC processor with 128KB flash memory as the program memory and 4KB SRAM as the data memory. The radio transceiver (Chipcon CC1000) operates in the ISM band at 433MHz or 916MHz with a maximum data rate of 76.8kbps. Also, the indoor radio range is approximately 20-30m. When many sensors have to communicate with the controller, standard communication interfaces such as Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) or Integrated Circuit ($I^{2}C$) allow sharing a single communication bus. With its low power, the smallest and low cost design, the wireless sensor network system and wireless sensing electronics to collect health-related information of human vitality and main physiological parameters (ECG, Temperature, Perspiration, Blood Pressure and some more vitality parameters, etc.)

The sensor and the image data received by the server develop a program to interact with Web through water treatment facilities broadband convergence network. So, Separately develop UI capable of independently operating. Building a web server for remote monitoring of the transmission sensor and the image data. And Monitoring and control is possible the sensor data and image data through the Web-based UI. We can grasp the current state such as measurement time, concentration and depth of interface through the proposed real-time measurement management system UI development liked the water treatment facilities broadband convergence network. So, we can check in whether the normal operation of water treatment facilities and whether the casualties such as fire and security. As well as real time to see the information at a glance due to UI development can be raal-time monitoring of real-time measurement management system.

  • Recently, the systems for managing the labs provide services that can be managed in real time by using various sensors based on IoT. The system collects sensor data and transmits it to the server, identifies the dangerous situation, and sends operation commands to the devices. These systems have a centralized structure that slows data processing when managing multiple laboratories. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a system that manages laboratories in distributed processing environment to identify and manage risk situations. The sensor module is used to control the laboratory and to automatically identify and respond to the dangerous situation.

  • A new cultivation diary system based on environment sensor data and Web 2.0 with Flex is suggested, to improve the previous system using the subjective data of cultivators. The proposed system is designed by applying an object-oriented model called mini-architecture, in order to enhance the reliability of software as well as promote stability to overall system design. The environment sensor data such as temperature and humidity are used to develop the new reliable diary. Also, an active interface based on Web 2.0 and Android as the user GUI are implemented to maximize the convenience while recording the cultivation diary. The result of the performance evaluation shows that the data from sensors has 99.1% of correlation with that of analogue.
