  • Self-adaptive 시스템에서 adaptation은 시스템 운영의 부담으로 작용할 수 있다. Self-adaptive system의 구조적인 고려는 이러한 부담을 줄일 수 있는 방안의 힌트로써 작용 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 self-adaptive 시스템을 구성할 때 가능한 소프트웨어 구조인 사용자 레벨 adaptation과 커널 레벨 adaptation을 살펴보고 각 구조에서 대상에 대한 adaptation을 수행할 때 발생하는 상호작용에 따른 비용을 추정하여 비교하였다. 특히 빠른 적응과 다양한 변화에 따른 적응이 요구되는 Networked Embedded Self-adaptive system을 대상으로 하였다. 본 논문은 Self-adaptive S/W 시스템을 설계할 때 기존의 기능적인 고려 외에 구조적인 고려가 필요함을 말하고자 하며 본 논문의 분석 결과는 Selfadaptive 시스템을 설계하고자 할 때 좋은 참고 자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

Core Self-Evaluation and Sales Performance of Female Salespeople in Face-to-Face Channel

  • This study seeks to empirically analyze the effects of core self-evaluation and adaptive selling behavior on sales performance for female salespersons engaged in door-to-door sales through the face-to-face channel in the wellness industry. This study seeks to examine the importance of adaptive selling, through, salespeople derive appropriate strategies in response to market changes. For female salespeople who use face-to-face channels, this study empirically investigated the relationship between core self-evaluation and adaptive selling, and effects on sales performance. A 31-item survey was constructed, based on prior research. We selected six door-to-door sales companies in South Korea and conducted one-to-one interviews with female salespeople in the Seoul metropolitan area and analyzed 208 pieces of significant data. Results demonstrated that among the core self-evaluation factors for female salespeople, self-esteem, self-efficacy, and neuroticism had an effect on adaptive selling factors, while locus of control did not. These factors were found to affect sales performance through the mediating role of adaptive selling. Improvements in the adaptive selling capabilities of female salespeople in charge of face-to-face channels positively affected sales performance. Management efforts are required to enhance self-esteem, self-efficacy, or neuroticism. These results suggest that companies should support enhancing individual adaptive selling capabilities of their salespeople.

자기동조 적응제어기법에 의한 로봇 매니퓰레이터의 강인제어 (Robust Control of Robot Manipulator using Self-Tuning Adaptive Control)

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of self-tuning adaptive control system that is robust to the changing dynamic configuration as well as to the load variation factors using digital signal processors for robot manipulators. TMS3200C50 is used in implementing real-time adaptive control algorithms provide advanced performance for robot manipulator. In this paper an adaptive control scheme is proposed in order to design the pole-placement self-tuning controller which can reject the offset due to any load disturbance without a detailed description of robot dynamics. parameters of discrete-time difference model are estimated by the recursive least-square identification algorithm and controller parameters are detemined by the pole-placement method. Performance of self-tuning adaptive controller is illusrated by the simulation and experiment for a SCARA robot.

Exploratory Study on Self-Fulfillment Effect of Self-Designing Process in Adaptive Customization Services

  • Services for self-designing, or adaptive customization services, have become dominant in virtual marketplaces and are believed to create additional values both for the company as well as for the customer. While most research focused on the value from the services' outputs, this research attempts to address the customer-perceived value deriving from the process of the services, and focuses on the self-fulfillment effect of the involved mental processing. An online survey was administered with 313 U.S. shoppers. In the results, participants using adaptive customization services reported higher self-fulfillment perceptions, than did those not using the services. Furthermore, both the self-fulfillment perceptions (i.e., autonomy and competence) significantly increased perceived design utility. The results suggest that the process of adaptive customization services should be strategically managed to improve the customers' positive mental states that subsequently improve the perceived value of the output designs. Implications and suggestions for future studies are dsicussed.

협업가능 표준기반 IoT 시스템을 위한 자가적응 IoT 소프트웨어 플랫폼 개발 (Self-adaptive IoT Software Platform for Interoperable Standard-based IoT Systems)

  • In this paper, we present a self-adaptive software platform that enables an IoT gateway to perform autonomous operation considering IoT devices connected each other in resource-constrained environments. Based on the oneM2M device software platform publicly available, we have designed an additional part, called SAS (self-adaptive software) consisting of MAM (memory-aware module), NAM (network-aware module), BAM (battery-aware module), DAM (data-aware module), and DH (decision handler). A prototype system is implemented to show the feasibility of the proposed self-adaptive software architecture. Our proposed system demonstrates that it can adaptively adjust the operation of gateway and connected devices to their resource conditions under the desired service scenarios.

Factors Related to Clinical Competence among Graduating Nursing Students during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Cross-Sectional Study

  • Purpose: This study investigated clinical competency, COVID-19-related anxiety, coping strategies, self-efficacy, and perceived stress among graduating nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey. Participants were recruited from universities located in four major cities in South Korea. General demographic information, clinical competency, self-efficacy, perceived stress, COVID-19-related anxiety, and coping strategies were assessed using reliable questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, correlations, and multiple regression tests were used to analyze the data. Results: The mean clinical competency, self-efficacy, perceived stress, adaptive coping, and maladaptive coping were 138.16 ± 18.34, 83.85 ±14.02, 21.37 ± 5.79, 53.15 ± 4.64, and 30.98 ± 6.73, respectively. COVID-19-related anxiety was reported by 4.3% of participants. Clinical competency was significantly positively correlated with self-efficacy (r = .44, p < .001) and adaptive coping (r = .20, p = .035) and was significantly negatively correlated with maladaptive coping (r = .20, p = .035). The predictors of clinical competency were self-efficacy (β = .434, p < .001) and adaptive coping (β = .173, p < .039), which explained 23% of the variance in clinical competency. Conclusion: Self-efficacy and adaptive coping strategies are significant predictors of clinical competence during the pandemic. Planning and implementing various curricular and non-curricular activities to increase senior students' self-efficacy and adaptive coping strategies will help prepare competent nursing graduates for the pandemic when they enter the nursing workforce.

  • 최근의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 요구되는 새로운 패러다임의 소프트웨어인 적응형 소프트웨어는 외부 환경 즉 문맥의 변화를 인식하고 자신의 운영 상태를 평가하여 스스로 동작행위를 바꾸는 능력을 가진 소프트웨어이다. 적응형 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위해서는 문맥에 대한 분석 및 설계와 더불어 동적인 문맥에 따라 적절히 대응할 수 있는 소프트웨어의 구조 및 행위를 설계하는 과정이 필요하다. 이것은 일반적인 소프트웨어보다 소프트웨어가 적응해야 하는 상황을 모델링 하는 기술이 필요하기 때문에 더 많은 노력이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 재사용을 통해 개발의 효율성을 높이고자 적응형 소프트웨어를 위한 프로덕트 라인 아키텍처와 아키텍처 산출물의 템플릿을 제안한다. 아키텍처 산출물들은 프로덕트 라인의 공통성과 가변성을 명시적으로 표현하여 체계적인 핵심자산의 재사용 활동을 지원한다.

  • IoT는 인간과 사물, 서비스, 이 세 가지 요소에 대해 인간의 명시적 개입 없이 상호 협력으로 센싱, 네트워킹, 정보처리 등 지능적 관계를 형성하는 사물 공간 연결망을 의미하고 현재 AllSeen Alliance, OIC 등과 같은 많은 IoT 그룹에서 IoT를 위한 플랫폼을 출시하고 있다. 자가적응형은 기기가 작동 중에 사람의 의사결정 없이도 가장 나은 대응을 스스로 판단하여 변화에 대처할 수 있도록 구현하는 것을 목표로 하는 것으로 기존 IoT와 IoT 플랫폼에 자가적응형 개념을 적용시켜 볼 필요성이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 IoT, IoT 플랫폼, 자가적응형 연구와 개발 동향에 대해 살펴보고 IoT와 IoT 플랫폼에 자가적응형 분류체계를 사용한 비교 방식을 제안한다. 또한 이를 활용한 예시로 아직 개발 단계인 OIC의 IoT 플랫폼에서 부족한 자가적응형 요소에 대해 제안한다.
