대학생 성장지향성 증진 그룹코칭 프로그램이 성장지향성, 삶의 만족도, 지각된 스트레스, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계에 미치는 효과: 사회인지동기모형을 기반으로 (Effects of the Group Coaching Program for the Promotion of Growth Orientation for University Students on Growth Orientation, Life Satisfaction, Perceived Stress, Positive Psychological Capital and Interpersonal Relationships: Based on the Model of the Social-Cognitive Approach to Motivation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사회인지동기모형을 기반하여 개발한 대학생의 성장지향성 증진 그룹코칭 프로그램을 실시하여 성장지향성, 삶의 만족도, 지각된 스트레스, 긍정심리자본, 대인관계 변인에 대한 효과성을 검증하는데 있다. 본 프로그램은 성장지향에 유용한 성장지향성, 마인드셋과 뇌의 가소성, 자기 주도적 목표설정, 재능은 지속적 노력의 산물, 실패태도와 관점 변화, 긍정적 정서·사고 및 행동, 타인 이해, 성장지향 가치와 셀프코칭의 8가지 주제이고, 1회 120분씩 총 8회기로 구성하였으며, 3명의 대학생을 대상으로 예비프로그램을 실시한 후, 전문가의 평가와 참여자의 피드백 등을 토대로 일부 프로그램을 수정하였다. 본 프로그램 효과를 검증하기 위해 자율적으로 신청한 대학생 48명을 16명 실험집단, 16명 비교집단, 16명 통제집단으로 배치한 후, 실험집단은 성장지향성 증진 그룹코칭 프로그램을 실시하였고, 비교집단은 암묵증진이론에 기반한 학습목표지향성 향상 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 통제집단은 어떤 프로그램도 실시하지 않았다. 세 집단을 대상으로 프로그램 실시 전·후, 프로그램 종료 후 1개월·3개월 후의 시점에서 성장지향성, 삶의 만족도, 지각된 스트레스, 긍정심리자본, 대인관계를 측정하였다. 자료 분석은 세 집단이 동질 집단인지를 조사한 후, 시점과 집단에 대한 변량분석으로 상호작용효과를 측정하였다. 분석 결과, 성장지향성 증진 그룹코칭이 성장지향성, 삶의 만족도, 지각된 스트레스, 긍정심리자본, 대인관계에서 통계적으로 유의미하여 효과가 있었고 효과크기가 커서 비교 프로그램보다 더 효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 또한 프로그램 종료 후에도 코칭의 효과는 통계적으로 유의미하게 지속되었고, 효과크기가 커서 비교 프로그램 보다 더 효과적으로 지속됨을 확인하였다. 이 연구 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 성장지향성 증진 그룹코칭을 통해 대학생의 성장지향성, 삶의 만족도, 긍정심리자본, 대인관계 능력을 높이고 스트레스를 감소시키는 효과를 과학적 방법으로 검증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

여성노인의 자기효능자원을 이용한 필라테스 운동프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of a Pilates Exercise Program using Self-Efficacy Sources in Elderly Women)

  • Purpose: In this study a pilates exercise program using self-efficacy sources was provided for women 65 years of age or older and the effects on physical fitness, body composition, depression, self-efficacy, and health-related quality of life were tested. Methods: A quasi-experimental study employing a nonequivalent control group, pre-post design was conducted. The subjects consisted of 30 older women in the experiment group and 30 in the comparison group. The intervention was conducted twice a week for a period of 12 weeks. During this period, the pilates exercise program using self-efficacy sources (health education, phone coaching, mentoring, checking homework, recreation) were provided in the experiment group and pilates exercise program were offered in the comparison group. Chi-square test, independent t-test, ANCOVA were used for data analysis. Results: Following completion of the program, upper muscle strength (F=4.131, p=.047), low muscle strength (F=5.558, p=.022), upper flexibility (F=5.252, p=.026), static balance (F=5.957, p=.018), dynamic body balance & agility(F=18.971, p<.001), endurance(F=10.058, p=.002), muscle mass (F=5.748, p=.020), depression (F=4.493, p=.038), Self-efficacy (F=33.853, p<.001), and Health-related quality of life(F=5.586, p=.022) were significantly better in the experimental group. Conclusion: Findings from this study indicate that the pilates exercise program using self-efficacy sources are effective in enhancing physical fitness, body composition, self-efficacy and health-related quality of life and in decreasing depression for female elders and could therefore be regarded as positive program for promotion of physical and mental health for older women.

자기효능ㆍ희망증진프로그램이 자기간호 행위와 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 -백혈병 환자 중심- (Effects of a Program to Promote Self-Efficacy and Hope on the Self-Care Behaviors and the Quality of Life in Patients with Leukemia)

  • Most patients having leukemia suffer severely from emotional turmoil due to the generalized perception that cancer will be fatal. The conventional chemotherapy results in side effects such as severe bone marrow depression which interfere with self-care management, vital for improvement in their condition. Bandura's theory of the self-efficacy suggests that self- efficacy can be enforced by performance attainments, vicarious experiences, verbal per-suasion and the release of emotional arousal. Self-efficacy can be enforced by a program of vicarious experiences and verbal persuasion, while the emotional arousal can be relieved through a hope promotion program, If once self-efficacy increases, the patient's self-care behaviors and the quality of life will also increase. The purpose of this study was to empirically test the effects of a program, to promote self-efficacy and hope, on self-care behaviors and quality of life in patients having leukemia. In this study, three types of approaches to enhance self-efficacy and hope were used : 1) a 20-minute long slide /tape for vacarious experiences : 2) a 10-minute long telephone call coaching for verbal persuasion ; and 3) two booklets for information about the symptoms of leukemia and treatment modalities and hope promotion. Thirty one patients were recruited in the experimental group and 29 in the control group with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest design. The subjects were patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy. Sherer and Maddux's self-efficacy scale, Nowotny's hope scale, and Padilla's quality of life scale were employed with some modifications. A self-care behavior scale was developed by the researchers. Statistical analyses including paired t-test, Chi-square, ANCOVA and ANOVA, were used. The results are as follows : The levels of self-efficacy, self-care behavior and quality of life were higher in the experimental group than in the control group after four weeks of intervention(F=28.71, P=.0001 ; F=63.35, P=.0001 F=16.57, P=.0001). After ten weeks of intervention, all of the dependent variables(self-efficacy, self-care behavior, hope & quality of life) in the experimental group were higher than in the control group (F=74.12, P=.0001 ; F=108.34, P=.0001 ; F=13,11, P=.001 : F=43.52, P=.0001). In conclusion, self-care behavior and quality of life increased mainly through an increase in self-efficacy, while increases in hope took more time and effort.

The Effects of Medication and Symptom Management Education Program Based on Self Efficacy Theory for the Psychiatric Patients

  • Propose. An effective rehabilitation program had been developed for psychiatric patients' self management of medication and symptoms in Korea. The rehabilitation program was designed to allow the patients to understand their illness, cope with their medical regimen, and prevent a relapse by recognizing any of the symptoms when they recur. Methods. The developed program utilizes the self efficacy method reported by Bandura, it includes manuals and videotapes focusing on real life situations, small group discussions, and telephone coaching. This study investigated the effects of this program with respect to various predictable variables in psychiatric rehabilitation. Thirty eight patients were selected for this study, 18 in the experimental program and 20 as controls. Results. The results showed that the subjects who attended this educational program reported significantly more improvement in attitude toward medication compliance (p=0.033), and significantly less relapse warning symptom scores (p=0.000) than the controls. Conclusion. This program may be a useful psychoeducational resource for professionals in the field of clinical practice in psychiatry.

당뇨병 자가관리 중재 연구동향: 주제범위 문헌고찰 (Research Trends in Diabetes Mellitus Self-Management Intervention: The Scoping Review)

  • Purpose: The present study aims to identify research trends on diabetes mellitus (DM) self-management intervention, suggesting directions for follow-up studies through a scoping review. Methods: This study conducted the scoping review process outlined by Arskey and O' Malley using the JBI (Joanna Briggs Institute) template. The databases used were Riss, Kiss, NDSL, KMbase, Google Scholar. This study searched the literature published between January 2011 and November 2021 by entering keywords related to DM self-management. Results: Thirty-five studies were selected for analysis. The period for 24 articles was 12 weeks or longer. The interventions consisted of education, exercise, counseling, and coaching. Not all studies applied the theory of behavior change. Fourteen studies included three factors relating to behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and blood sugar changes to measure effectiveness, while ten studies included all four factors. Most interventions were effective both in DM self-management and self-care. Further, the intervention persistence effect of each study varied. Conclusion: While research on DM self-management intervention has been conducted at domestically and abroad, this decreased during COVID-19 pandemic. This study suggests the importance of systematically developing effective necessary optimal DM self-management interventions that can change behaviors to prevent diabetic complications and improve quality of life.

다 학제간 접근방식을 이용한 생활금연 프로그램개발과 그 효과에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Life Smoking Cessation Program- multidisciplinary approach)

  • This study was designed to develop the life moking cessation program with multidisciplinary approach using the Bandura's theory of self-efficacy and confirm the effect of it on the self-efficacy and smoking amount in college students. For this purpose non-equivalent control group, pretest-posttest design was used. The participating subjects in this study were 46 male college freshmen, 23 in experimental and 23 in control group. The experimental group received the 8 sessions of lecture and small group discussions for 4 weeks and a telephone coaching program for a period of 8 weeks. The control group received 5 sessions of lecture without further treatments. The data was collected from March 15 to June 11, 1999, and analysed by SAS/PC program with $\chi$$^2$test, simple t, paired t test. The results were as follows. 1. The score of self-efficacy was significantly increased over time in the experimental group than those of the control group. 2. The amount of urine cotinine was decreased over time in the experimental group, number of cigarettes smoked a day were significantly decreased, and they were significantly less than those of the control group. In conclusion it was found that the Life Smoking Cessation Program with Multidisciplinary Approach was an effective nursing intervention for increasing self efficacy and reducing the amount of smoking in male college students. Therefore, future smoking cessation programs should always consider the concept of self-efficacy and ways to positively reinforce it.

대학생이 인식하는 학생성공 개념에 관한 탐색적 연구: CQR-M 분석을 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on the Concept of Student Success Recognized by College Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생이 인식하는 학생성공의 개념을 조사하기 위한 탐색적 연구이다. 학생들의 자유로운 생각을 듣기위해 온라인 설문지를 활용해 개방형 설문을 진행하고 99명의 응답을 분석하였다. 응답결과는 CQR-M(Consensual Qualitative Research-Modified)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 '학생성공의 의미', '학생성공을 위한 대학 환경 요인', '학생성공에 필요한 심리적 요인' 등 3개의 영역에서 25개 범주가 도출되었다. 첫 번째 영역인 대학생이 인식하는 '학생성공의 의미'에서는 '학업성취·취업 역량 증진·다양한 경험 쌓기·만족스러운 취업·원하는 진로 설정·관계형성 능력 증진·나만의 목표 설정과 달성·자기 개발·만족스러운 대학생활'의 9개의 범주가 도출되었다. 두 번째 영역인 '학생성공을 위한 대학 환경 요인'에서는 '진로개발 지원·직무역량 향상 시스템·대학생활 참여지원·인적 네트워크 형성 기회·학습역량 증진 시스템·경제적 지원 확대·학생 편의를 위한 환경'으로 7개 범주가 도출되었다. 세 번째 영역인 '학생성공에 필요한 심리적 요인'에서는 '학습능력·자기효능감·대인관계 유능성·자기인식 및 개선·직무역량·자기조절 능력·풍부한 경험·진로인식·자존감'의 9개의 범주가 도출되었다. 각 영역별 빈도와 결과를 분석하여 제시하고, 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였으며, 후속연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

중년여성 평신도 사역자의 코칭을 통한 교회평생교육 참여경험 의미탐색 (Exploring the Meaning of Church Lifelong Education Participation Experience through Coaching of Middle-Aged female lay Ministers)

  • 연구 목적 : 본 연구는 교회 내 평신도 중년여성의 사역을 재고하기 위한 교육과 상담의 요구로 시작되었다. 연구 목적은 파일럿 과정으로 기획된 평생교육 프로그램을 통해 어떻게 그들의 요구가 충족되는지 과정을 살펴봄으로써 학습 참여의 의미와 변화, 영향력을 알아보는 것이다. 연구 내용 및 방법 : 교회 활동의 적극적인 협력자 역할을 해온 중년여성들이 교회 평생교육 프로그램을 통해 자신의 신앙과 사역, 삶을 성찰하는 과정을 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 방법은 관찰 일지와 인터뷰를 중심으로 한 질적 연구로 진행하였으며, 연구 참여자는 13년 이상 교회 사역 경험이 있으면서 평생교육에 관심이 있는 자로 예비 면담을 통해 선정하였고, 자료는 사역을 통해 경험한 이야기를 중심으로 수집하였다. 연구 결과는 학습 참여 동기, 학습 경험, 학습 참여 의미로 나누었다. 첫째, 참여 동기는 정체성 회복으로 더 나은 자기를 찾고 도전하는 것이었고, 둘째, 학습 경험은 자신을 새롭게 디자인하는 치유와 회복의 시간이었으며 셋째, 학습 참여 의미는 관계 회복과 확장이었다. 결과적으로 코칭을 통한 교회평생교육은 연구 참여자들의 신앙과 사역을 회복하고 변화를 일으켰음을 발견하였다. 결론 및 제언 : 평생학습 참여 경험의 의미를 정리하면 첫째, '자신의 발전 의미와 가능성을 알아차림'이고, 둘째, '치유와 자존감의 회복'이며 셋째, '관계의 회복과 확장' 마지막으로 '진정한 나다움의 발견'이다. 개인의 신앙보다 역할 중심의 삶을 살아온 중년여성들은 온전한 자신으로 살아가 고픈 욕구가 크다. 따라서 자신의 삶을 성찰하고, 진단하는 시간과 함께 새로운 비전을 찾아가는 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다. 이에 코칭 관련 교회평생교육이 다양하게 개발되어 많은 평신도 사역자들에게 실제적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 후속 연구를 제안한다.

물리치료(학)과 졸업생의 취업준비 노력과 성과 (Effects of Pre-Employment Effort of the Physical Therapy Graduates)

  • Background : This study aims to examine actual conditions of college students' life, behaviors to prepare for employment, and employment performance, thereby providing basic materials to create efficient measures for college students' employment strategies. Method : The subjects of this study were 207 graduates from the Department of Physical Therapy employed in medical and health institutions in Gyeongsangnam-do and Busan. Aquestionnaire devised by Yu Yeon-wha and Lim Gyeong-ae(2012, 2011) was revised and complemented into a self-reporting questionnaire composed of 29 questions. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS Win 18.00 program. Results : 1) The biggest reason for the respondents' selecting physical therapy as a major was bright prospect for employment, and the largest percent of the respondents answered that they started to prepare for employment in the second semester of junior year. 2)Regarding behaviors to prepare for employment, those who largely provided information on employment were the respondents' seniors and friends. 62.3% of the respondents owned certificates and diplomas. 59.9% took part in programs related to employment in order to prepare for employment. Their weakest area was English and what they wanted to know most was annual salaries provided by companies. They put self-development and growth potential before everything as what should be considered in priority when getting a job. 3)The most frequently asked question in their interviews for employment was the motive for application. The biggest reason for their employment at their current institution was their good personality and manner. 4)As for employment performance, they were unsatisfied with their current average annual salary. Conclusion : School should provide consciousness education and employment coaching so that students can early prepare for employment with an active attitude. In particular, educational environment where many students can gain easy access to information about employment in diverse areas should be provided and student coaching should be actively conducted.

건강가정지원센터의 교육프로그램 운영 실태에 관한 조사 (Research about the Education Program of the Healthy Family-Support Center(HFSC))

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the educational program that is offered on the information menu in the homepage (Familynet) of the Healthy Family-Support Center (HFSC) and suggest developmental directions. For this purpose, first, it deduced that the managerial principles of the education program, from related theories, are included in the family-system, family-structure, family-structure analysis, family life-cycle and ecological system theories. Second, it analyzed the educational programs of 44 local centers that are connected to the homepage (familynet.or.kr) of HFSC. Finally, it suggested developmental directions for managerial improvements of educational programs. As a result, the most popular part in the educational program was parent education, especially the visiting-father education program. The number of couple-related education programs were fewer than those for parent education, because it is difficult for couples to be present at the same time. Family and Self-Cognition programs cover insufficient contents in the parent-education program. Though total program in familylife education is quite large, the number of programs in each separate part is far too small for such a wide subject. So, each part in the program should be made more sufficient. Finally, it suggested the development of an evaluation system and a coaching process as special services for families that are in different development stages and have different family experiences, resources, needs and goals.
