  • Recently as increasing the use of mobile communication devices the use of mobile readers for recognition tag attached to objects is also increasing. Accordingly, meantime, that gives rise to the vulnerability of RFID systems between reader and tag security issues, as well as security issues between the reader and the back-end server will occur. In this paper between the reader and the back-end server to security vulnerabilities efficient authentication protocol using the hash function is proposed.

  • In that this study is a subject and character of risk, emerging security covers non-military areas in addition to traditional military security: environmental security, human security, resource security, and cyber security. The rise of these risks is not only changing the phenomenon of the new expansion of security areas, but also the expansion of the number and scope of security entities and the aspect of security world politics. These risks are transnational security issues at the global level in terms of their nature and extent of the damage, as well as multi-layered ones that affect local and personal security issues at the regional and national levels. In addition to national actors, non-state actors such as international organizations, multinational corporations, and global civil society, and furthermore, technology and social systems themselves are causing risks. Therefore, to solve the new security problem, it is necessary to establish a middle-level and complex governance mechanism that is sought at the regional and global levels beyond the fragmented dimension of the occurrence of new security issues that have been overlooked in the existing frame of perception, and to predict and find ways to respond to new security paradigms that have been identified in a broader sense.

  • Cyber-based technologies are now ubiquitous around the glob and are emerging as an "instrument of power" in societies, and are becoming more available to a country's opponents, who may use it to attack, degrade, and disrupt communications and the flow of information. The globe-spanning range of cyberspace and no national borders will challenge legal systems and complicate a nation's ability to deter threats and respond to contingencies. Through cyberspace, competitive powers will target industry, academia, government, as well as the military in the air, land, maritime, and space domains of our nations. Enemies in cyberspace will include both states and non-states and will range from the unsophisticated amateur to highly trained professional hackers. In much the same way that airpower transformed the battlefield of World War II, cyberspace has fractured the physical barriers that shield a nation from attacks on its commerce and communication. Cyberthreats to the infrastructure and other assets are a growing concern to policymakers. In 2013 Cyberwarfare was, for the first time, considered a larger threat than Al Qaeda or terrorism, by many U.S. intelligence officials. The new United States military strategy makes explicit that a cyberattack is casus belli just as a traditional act of war. The Economist describes cyberspace as "the fifth domain of warfare and writes that China, Russia, Israel and North Korea. Iran are boasting of having the world's second-largest cyber-army. Entities posing a significant threat to the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure assets include cyberterrorists, cyberspies, cyberthieves, cyberwarriors, and cyberhacktivists. These malefactors may access cyber-based technologies in order to deny service, steal or manipulate data, or use a device to launch an attack against itself or another piece of equipment. However because the Internet offers near-total anonymity, it is difficult to discern the identity, the motives, and the location of an intruder. The scope and enormity of the threats are not just focused to private industry but also to the country's heavily networked critical infrastructure. There are many ongoing efforts in government and industry that focus on making computers, the Internet, and related technologies more secure. As the national intelligence institution's effort, cyber counter-intelligence is measures to identify, penetrate, or neutralize foreign operations that use cyber means as the primary tradecraft methodology, as well as foreign intelligence service collection efforts that use traditional methods to gauge cyber capabilities and intentions. However one of the hardest issues in cyber counterintelligence is the problem of "Attribution". Unlike conventional warfare, figuring out who is behind an attack can be very difficult, even though the Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has claimed that the United States has the capability to trace attacks back to their sources and hold the attackers "accountable". Considering all these cyber security problems, this paper examines closely cyber security issues through the lessons from that of U.S experience. For that purpose I review the arising cyber security issues considering changing global security environments in the 21st century and their implications to the reshaping the government system. For that purpose this study mainly deals with and emphasis the cyber security issues as one of the growing national security threats. This article also reviews what our intelligence and security Agencies should do among the transforming cyber space. At any rate, despite of all hot debates about the various legality and human rights issues derived from the cyber space and intelligence service activity, the national security should be secured. Therefore, this paper suggests that one of the most important and immediate step is to understanding the legal ideology of national security and national intelligence.

  • In addition to the rapid development of health information technology services for the development of new medical information, a lot of research is underway. Improve health care services for patients are many ways to help them. However, no information about the security, if only the technology advances in health care systems will create an element of risk and threat. Today's issues and access issues are stable over a public network. Ad hocsensor network using secure, non-integrated health information system's security vulnerabilities does not solve the security vulnerabilities. In the development and utilization of health information systems to be subject to greater restrictions. Different security policies in an environment with a medical information system security policy mechanism that can be resolved if people get here are needed. Context-aware and flexible policy of integration and confidential medical information through the resistance should be guaranteed. Other cross-domain access control policy for telecommunications should be protected. In this paper, that the caller's medical information system, diversification, diversification Security agent in the environment, architecture, design, plan, role-based security system are proposed. The proposed system architecture, design work in the field and in the utilization of one model are expected to be.

  • When the variety of personal health services are provided in the ICBM(IoT, Cloud, Bigdata, and Mobile) environment, the security requirements of personal health service(PHS) including privacy issues is proposed in this paper. Because it is expected that the services related to personal health are provided in the cloud environment, the security requirements of a cloud environment is firstly investigated and then security threats including direct and indirect threats in a cloud environment are analyzed in terms of the security of PHS. In addition, the security requirements of PHS is developed based on the security requirements of electronic medical record(EMR) for medical service in this paper, then the validity of the proposed security requirements is shown by the relation between security requirements of cloud environment and PHS to indicate that a security requriement is supported by several security requirements of PHS.

  • The Internet of Things, which is the key factor of the 4th industrial revolution, are apt to apply to many systems. The existing security mechanism cannot be realized with limited resources such as low capacity of devices and sensors. In order to apply IoT system, a new structure and ultra-lightweight encryption is required. In this paper, we analyzed security issues that can operate in Internet-based smart home networks, and to solve the critical issues against these attacks, technologies for device protection between heterogeneous devices. Security requirements are required to protect from attacks. Therefore, we analyzed the demands and requirements for its application by analyzing the security architecture and features in smart home network.

  • The paper provides the approach to apply formal methods to the development and certification criteria of defense safety/security-critical software. RTCA/DO-178B is recognized as a do facto international standard for airworthiness certification but lack of concrete activities and vagueness of verification/certification criteria have been criticized. In the case of MoD Def Stan 00-55, the guidelines based on formal methods are concrete enough and structured for the defense safety-related software. Also Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level includes the strict requirements of formal methods for the certification of high-level security software. By analyzing the problems of DO-178B and comparing it with MoD Def Stan 00-55 and Common Criteria, we identity the important issues In safety and security space. And considering the identified issues, we carry out merging of DO-178B and CC EAL7 on the basis of formal methods. Also the actual case studies for formal methods applications are shown with respect to the verification and reuse of software components.

  • The super computer calls usually as the super computer in case the computing power of the computer is 20 G flops (GFLOPS) or greater. In the past, the computer equipped with the vector processor (the instrument processing the order having the logic operation and maximum value or minimum value besides the common computer instruction) processing the scientific calculation with the super high speed was installed as the super computer. Recently, cyber attack focuses on supercomputer because if it is being infected, then it will affect hundreds of client PC. Therefore, our research paper analyzed super computer security issues and biometric countermeasure to develop the level of security on super computer.
