  • A development of PP/ST is essential in CC environment. And, the KOREA is expected that PP/STs demand increases explosively by joining to CCRA hereafter. Specially, PP/ST development experience of the KOREA is lacking. So, development of security environment(assume, threat, policy) and security objective contents refer only PP/ST Guide(ISO/IEC PDTR 15446) are very difficult. In this paper, we propose a web service based common security environment and security objective repository model that make developers can run PP/ST creation to be simple. Through proposed model, developers who development experience is lacking are expected to achieve PP/ST development to be simple.

  • The ubiquitous computing environment is a new paradigm that represents the future life and is expected to bring about great changes in IT and in the lives of individuals. However, since a good deal of information can be easily obtained and shared in the ubiquitous computing environment, problems such as a security threat and infringement of privacy are getting serious. The present study is intended to explore some ways to minimize such problems by introducing RFID technology in the ubiquitous computing environment. This study also examines the causes of violation of security and privacy that might occur in the RFID system and requirement for security. In addition it seeks possible technical solutions to those causes.

  • As wireless Internet speads widely, circulation of various types of digital contents become active. Therefore, it is necesary to make a mobile-based DRM (Digatal Rights Management) system to protect digital contents from illegal reproduction and to give proper rights to contents users, In this paper, we present a mibile security system, which protects the copyright for digital contents offered throughout the mobile environment. Our security system is focused on presenting mobile-based DRM architecture. Especially, considering mobile device's decrying power, we adopted partial encryption scheme. For this, wecompared and evaluated the performant of each contents encryption scheme (the entire encryption scheme and the partial encription scheme) and proved that a proper DRM system for current wireless devices is the partial encryption system. Our mobile DRM system can be very efficient to protect contents on the wireless Internet environment.

  • In 1976, privative security law in Korea was enacted. Through the law has been revised 23 times, and it reflected changing security environment. Since the private security is now in charge of the daily safety as well as the police, private security law should be revised in overall dimension. First, the name of private security service and terms should be reorganized with applying the current environment of security. For instance, there should be an appropriate range of security service which could contain security consulting, planner, private investigator, and convergence security. Second, the errors of private security law should be corrected and applied to the revised law. Third, some inappropriate contents in the private security law should be revised. Forth, revising the private security law should consider to solve problems in selection, education, and election of security instructor.

  • Application contents verifications and operations are essential for using a secure smart phone environment. In the existing smartphone environment, application verification was performed only in the application company and users has direct management application. However these application verification and management practices have been caused by a variety of security vulnerabilities. Therefore, we will analyze the security vulnerabilities in the existing methods and then we propose an application contents management of smart phone using pre-qualification method.

  • As the electronic commercial transaction is being transacted by contents which can get an illegal intrusion from the outside, we sincerely require security for them. We must consider a protection countermeasure about intrusion from protection of the passive form to protection intrusion of the active one. So the security is required against hackers illegality intrusion into the contents. As soon as the intrusion happens about the contents, the tools providing the monitor of contents are required to minimize the damage to the systems. Modified web contents detection system in this paper prevents the loss of resources and manpower required through individually monitoring on the web. Also, this paper offers rapid support of security that it analyzes the weakness of contents security of the web environment and the cause of the problem with the leakage of information. So this system has the pur pose of protecting the weakness of contents security and the leakage of information.

  • It need remote storage system using iSCSI to overcome a limit of PDA storage device used in currently wireless network environment, and IPSec to solve a security problem of wireless environment increasing continually. In this paper, it design and implement iSCSI to use a remote storage system on PDA, and IPSec for security. The experimental results in real environment show a system performance.

  • This paper shows how Ebooks contents can be securely transferred to consumers in wireless environment using public key infrastructure (PKI). In addition, we show the proposed scheme to be secure. The final goal is to show that our scheme satisfies all secure requirements of digital contents in any environments.

Measures to Enhance Emergency Management Capacity of Private Security Industry

  • The private security will overcome the limit of public police system and implement a small and efficient government concept. Especially in recent years, this security system has naturally been expanded in its functions from crime prevention to prevention of disasters. To manage the emergency by the private security industry, the private security services to involve some peculiarity and specialty. The policy agenda of private security industry for crisis management are suggested. First of all, to provide quality services for emergency management, the guards from private organizations should receive professional education and training to secure the specialty. Second, we need to improve the quality of security instructors with intensive education system for them. Security instructors should be able to effectively handle lots of different matters in the fields of security, but examination of the current curriculum of education for security instructor indicates that there is not much chance of it. Third, must be natural in light that the private organizations have some limitations in their operational capabilities and scopes. Private security duties are well established in cooperation with related institutions such as the police. Lastly, development of high quality crisis management commodities in the private security becomes even more significant. The government should be determined to make an effort to grow the private industry and foster a political environment for the same purpose.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the public key certification the structure of assure information security which play an important role in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure). The structure of assure information security consists of Root-CA, Home-network and Foreign-network. CA will going to gave the mandate to Home-Agent or Foreign-Agent when they request. The structure of assure information security is various characteristic : more then high speed, mobile network, and low cost more then previous structure of assure information security.
