전동차 부수대차의 구조해석 연구 (Structure Analysis of Secondary Bogie Frame for Electrical Multiple Unit)

  • This paper describes the result of structure analysis of secondary bogie frame. The purpose of the analysis is to evaluate an safety which secondary bogie frame shall be considered fully sufficient rigidity so as to satisfy proper system function under maximum load. Secondary bogie system consist of bogie frame, suspensions, wheel-sets, and brake system. Among these component, the bogie frame is most significant component subjected to the vehicle and passenger loads. The evaluation method is used the JIS E 4207 specification throughout the FEM analysis. The analysis results have been very safety and stable for design load conditions.

  • Recently the research for lightening the railway vehicle is actively made according to the demand of the environment-friendly technology development contributing to the energy cost reduction and the green growth. The railway vehicle lightweight research is expanded to the load-supporting first structure from the secondary structure which doesn't support the load. After the composite car body development used in the Korean tilting train is completed, the composite bogie frame development in which the weight reduction efficiency is large is progressed. In this paper, distributed strain was monitored when the train load was added to the central part of the composite bogie side-frame. By using the optical fiber which was attached to the lower part of the side-frame and the developed Brillouin correlation domain analysis (BOCDA) system, the strain distribution could be measured with 3cm step over 3m section. This strain distribution was compared with the design value by the FE analysis when the load of 14ton and 18ton added. This experiment can verify the manufactured composite bogie side-frame.

  • This paper presents the feasibility for improving the ride quality of railway vehicle equipped with semi-active suspension system using magnetorheological(MR) fluid damper. In order to achieve this goal, a fifteen degree of freedom of railway vehicle model, which includes a car body, bogie frame and wheel-set is proposed to represent lateral, yaw and roll motions. The MR damper system is incorporated with the governing equation of motion of the railway vehicle which includes secondary suspension. To illustrate the effectiveness of the controlled MR dampers on railway vehicle secondary suspension system, the sky-hook control law using the velocity feedback is adopted. Computer simulation for performance evaluation is performed using Matlab. Various control performances are demonstrated under external excitation which is the creep force between wheel and rail.

KT-23형 여객 차량의 상하 진동 해석 및 축소모형 실험 (Analysis and Small Scale Model Expriment on the Vertical Vibration of the KT-23 Type Passenger Vehicle)

  • The purpose of this study is to obtain the effects of the parameters of the suspension system in railway rolling-stock for KT-23 type Passenger vehicle. According to the analysis and the small scale model car test. optimal condition was obtained for the stiffness ratio of secondary spring to primary spring of the suspension system and the mass ratio of the bogie frame to the car body. The analysis of the study shows that if the car body mass is increased or secondary stiffness Is lowered, the vertical vibration level is reduced and the passenger comfort can be improved. Especially, strong peaks are occurred in the frequencies corresponding to the rotational speed of driving axle and vehicle wheel. Hence, in order to obtain the dynamic characteristics through the small scale model car, the driving method of the vehicle on the test bench, rotational characteristics of the wheel and the natural modes of vehicle should be investigated and be modified.

궤도하부강성 변화에 따른 방진슬라브 궤도의 진동특성 연구 (A Study on characteristics of vibration of a floating slab track according to change of stiffness of track)

  • In this paper, an analytical model for analyzing the interaction between train and floating slab track is presented. Train is modelled by 4-lumped masses system which are composed of a carbody supported by secondary suspension, a bogie frame supported by primary suspension, and two wheelsets supported by nonlinear Hertzian springs. In the track model, rail is considered to have a distributed mass and to be supported discretely at sleepers above ballast on slab. The slab supported by discrete isolators put on fixed floor is modelled by finite beam elements. Numerical analyses are carried out to examine anti-vibration effect of the GERB slab track which is same type laid in Puchon station on the subway No. 7 Line.
