칩 사진 상의 와이어 인식 방법 (Wire Recognition on the Chip Photo based on Histogram)

  • 칩 상에서 연결을 담당하는 와이어의 인식은 칩 역공학에서 가장 중요한 부분 중 하나이다. 칩 사진에서 인식된 와이어는 칩 회로의 논리 수준 또는 기능 수준 표현을 복원하는데 사용된다. 기존의 칩 역공학에서 주로 사용되는 수작업에 의한 와이어 인식은 정확한 결과를 제공하지만, 한 칩이나 블록에 속한 와이어의 수가 수십 만개 또는 그 이상이 될 경우 너무 많은 시간이 걸리는 단점이 있다. 칩 상의 와이어는 그 재료에 따라 특정한 밝기나 색상 특성을 가지고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 칩 사진에 나타나는 영역의 밝기나 색상 특성을 이용하여 와이어 여부를 판단하는 2단계 방법을 제안한다. 즉, 이미지 이진화 과정과 이진 이미지에 나타나는 영역에 대한 와이어 여부를 판단하는 과정으로 이루어진다. 활용되는 기법들은 기존에 제안된 기법들을 이용한다. 둘째 단계에서, 와이어 영역의 특성을 지정해주기 위해서 사용자는 특정 와이어 영역을 선택하는 과정을 수행해야 한다. 선택된 와이어 영역의 히스토그램 특성은 다른 영역과의 히스토그램 유사도를 계산하는 데 사용된다. 첫 번째 실험은, 기존에 제안된 몇 가지 이미지 이진화 기법 중에서 둘째 단계를 위해 적절한 한 가지 기법을 선택하기 위한 것이다. 와이어 영역 판별 방법에 대한 둘째 실험은, 실험적으로 비교 가능한 기존 방법이 없는 관계로, 본 논문에서 제안하는 그레이 스케일 또는 HSV 컬러를 이용하는 히스토그램 유사도 비교 방법 세 가지에 대한 비교 실험 결과를 제시한다. 제일 성능이 좋은 방법은, 와이어 영역으로 판단한 영역이 진짜 와이어 영역인 비율이 98% 이상임을 확인하였다.

시 공간 정규화를 통한 딥 러닝 기반의 3D 제스처 인식 (Deep Learning Based 3D Gesture Recognition Using Spatio-Temporal Normalization)

  • Human exchanges information not only through words, but also through body gesture or hand gesture. And they can be used to build effective interfaces in mobile, virtual reality, and augmented reality. The past 2D gesture recognition research had information loss caused by projecting 3D information in 2D. Since the recognition of the gesture in 3D is higher than 2D space in terms of recognition range, the complexity of gesture recognition increases. In this paper, we proposed a real-time gesture recognition deep learning model and application in 3D space using deep learning technique. First, in order to recognize the gesture in the 3D space, the data collection is performed using the unity game engine to construct and acquire data. Second, input vector normalization for learning 3D gesture recognition model is processed based on deep learning. Thirdly, the SELU(Scaled Exponential Linear Unit) function is applied to the neural network's active function for faster learning and better recognition performance. The proposed system is expected to be applicable to various fields such as rehabilitation cares, game applications, and virtual reality.

VCCV단위를 이용한 어휘독립 음성인식 시스템의 구현 (An Implementation of the Vocabulary Independent Speech Recognition System Using VCCV Unit)

  • 본 논문에서는 CV (Consonant Vowel), VCCV (Vowel Consonant Consonant Vowel), VC (Vowel Consonant) 인식 단위를 이용한 새로운 어휘 독립 음성인식 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 인식 단위는 음절의 안정된 모음 구간에서 분할하여 구성했기 때문에 분할이 용이하다. VCCV단위가 존재하지 않을 경우에는 VC와 CV 반음절 모델을 결합하여 대체모델을 구성하였다. 모음군 군집화 (clustering)와 VCCV 모델이 존재하지 않을 경우 대체모델에 결합규칙을 적용하여 제 1후보에서 90.4% (모델 A)에서 95.6% (모델 C)로 5.2%의 인식 성능향상을 가져왔다. 인식실험결과 제 2후보에서 98.8%의 인식률로 제안된 방법이 효율적임을 확인하였다.

  • Speaker recognition is the technology that confirms the identification of speaker by using the characteristic of speech. Such technique is classified into speaker identification and speaker verification: The first method discriminates the speaker from the preregistered group and recognize the word, the second verifies the speaker who claims the identification. This method that extracts the information of speaker from the speech and confirms the individual identification becomes one of the most efficient technology as the service via telephone network is popularized. Some problems, however, must be solved for the real application as follows; The first thing is concerning that the safe method is necessary to reject the imposter because the recognition is not performed for the only preregistered customer. The second thing is about the fact that the characteristic of speech is changed as time goes by, So this fact causes the severe degradation of recognition rate and the inconvenience of users as the number of times to utter the text increases. The last thing is relating to the fact that the common characteristic among speakers causes the wrong recognition result. The silence parts being included the center of speech cause that identification rate is decreased. In this paper, to make improvement, We proposed identification rate can be improved by removing silence part before processing identification algorithm. The methods detecting speech area are zero crossing rate, energy of signal detect end point and starting point of the speech and process DTW algorithm by using two methods in this paper. As a result, the proposed method is obtained about 3% of improved recognition rate compare with the conventional methods.

IPA을 기반한 간호대학생의 핵심기본간호술 중요도인식 및 수행도와 전공만족도 과의 관계연구 (A study on The Relationship between IPA-based Nursing Students' Recognition and Performance of Core Basic Nursing Skills and Major Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is a technical study to understand the relationship between the recognition and performance of core basic nursing skills of nursing college students who are ahead of clinical practice, and satisfaction with their major. Method: The subjects were 208 second-year students enrolled in the four-year nursing department located in J City and C City. General characteristics, characteristics of clinical practice, and recognition of the importance of core basic nursing skills, performance, and satisfaction with majors were investigated. Descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, multiple regression analysis and IPA are performed for data analysis Results: The results are follows. The results are follows. First, the performance was lower than that of the core basic nursing skills (p<.001). As a result of comparing the importance recognition and performance of the core basic nursing items, the importance recognition was significantly compared to the performance level in all 20 items. It showed high results. Second, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation (r=.40, p<.01) with major satisfaction in core basic nursing performance. Conclusion: These results highlight the need to develop education. It is necessary to establish a learning strategy through various learning guidance methods and self-directed learning that can improve the performance of items with low performance, although recognized as important through the Core Basic Nursing IPA for nursing students who are about to practice clinical practice. It is suggested to do repeated research applied.

Comparison of Computer and Human Face Recognition According to Facial Components

  • Face recognition is a biometric technology used to identify individuals based on facial feature information. Previous studies of face recognition used features including the eye, mouth and nose; however, there have been few studies on the effects of using other facial components, such as the eyebrows and chin, on recognition performance. We measured the recognition accuracy affected by these facial components, and compared the differences between computer-based and human-based facial recognition methods. This research is novel in the following four ways compared to previous works. First, we measured the effect of components such as the eyebrows and chin. And the accuracy of computer-based face recognition was compared to human-based face recognition according to facial components. Second, for computer-based recognition, facial components were automatically detected using the Adaboost algorithm and active appearance model (AAM), and user authentication was achieved with the face recognition algorithm based on principal component analysis (PCA). Third, we experimentally proved that the number of facial features (when including eyebrows, eye, nose, mouth, and chin) had a greater impact on the accuracy of human-based face recognition, but consistent inclusion of some feature such as chin area had more influence on the accuracy of computer-based face recognition because a computer uses the pixel values of facial images in classifying faces. Fourth, we experimentally proved that the eyebrow feature enhanced the accuracy of computer-based face recognition. However, the problem of occlusion by hair should be solved in order to use the eyebrow feature for face recognition.

  • In this paper, we develop the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) System. ANPR is generally composed of the following four steps: i) The acquisition of the image; ii) The extraction of the region of the number plate; iii) The partition of the number and iv) The recognition. The second and third steps incorporate image processing technique. We propose to resolve this by using Partial Differential Equation(PDE) based segmentation method. This method is computationally efficient and robust. Results indicate that our methods are capable to recognize the plate number on difficult situations.

  • In this work, we present solutions of two problems. First, the representation of pattern recognition problem in the standard $T_{nml}$ table of the algorithm estimate calculation was considered. Second, the problem of finding the model, consisting of the optimal parameters of an algorithm was considered. Such procedure is carried out by the selection optimal values of the parameters of extreme algorithms. This serves to reduce the number of calculations in the algorithms of estimate calculation and to increase the quality of recognition process. The algorithmic data base of the developed system was based on mathematical apparatus of pattern recognition.

멀티 프로세서 시스템에 의한 고속 문자인식 (High Speed Character Recognition by Multiprocessor System)

  • A multi-font, multi-size and high speed character recognition system is designed. The design principles are simpilcity of algorithm, adaptibility, learnability, hierachical data processing and attention by feed back. For the multi-size character recognition, the extracted character images are normalized. A hierachical classifier classifies the feature vectors. Feature is extracted by applying the directional receptive field after the directional dege filter processing. The hierachical classifier is consist of two pre-classifiers and one decision making classifier. The effect of two pre-classifiers is prediction to the final decision making classifier. With the pre-classifiers, the time to compute the distance of the final classifier is reduced. Recognition rate is 95% for the three documents printed in three kinds of fonts, total 1,700 characters. For high speed implemention, a multiprocessor system with the ring structure of four transputers is implemented, and the recognition speed of 30 characters per second is aquired.

자소간의 흘림을 허용하는 연속형 온라인 필기 인식 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of An On-Line Continuous Recognition System for Cursive Handwriting)

  • In this paper, an implemenation of on-line continuous recognizer for cursive Hangul handwriting is explained. For the Hangul recognition system, we propose a high speed string matching. The editing process in our proposed string matching is accomplished by single editing path. And the matching results are stored in a heap structure and we decide the user comfortibility of unceasing writing during recognition owing to the high speed matching. In the experimental result, a recongition rate of 86.36% at 1.75 second/character over 21,076 characters collected from 50 persons are abtained. And it is shown that the proposed recognition system is operated properly for the on-line recognition for cursive handwring between graphemes.
