국내 패션의류업계의 활용 색채전달도구 개발을 위한 색채 연구 (Characteristics of Colors and Color Communication tools applied in the Korean Fashion Industry)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the characteristics of color communication tools and the color range applied in the Korean fashion industry. To collect the color sample and related references, a questionnaire was distributed during the time period, December, 1995 to June, 1996. From the responses, 2641 color samples used by 109 domestic brands, from 1993 spring/summer to 1996 spring/summer, were collected and analyzed. The data was measured by L*a*b*, and the H V/C formula found in the Munsell notation was used to calculate the data. To classify the color range served for the fashion industry, the distribution of colors are analyzed by difference of season and fabric. The results of this study are as follows : 1. Dominant colors in the Korean fashion industry are Red, Yellow-red, Yellow, purple-blue and low chromatic range colors. 2. While high value colors, such as pale, light greyish, light, dull, dark and vivid tone colors, are dominant in the spring/summer season, low value colors, such as greyish, dark greyish. and deep tone colors and warm colors such as Red, Yellow-red, are prevalent in the fall/winter season. 3. The number of colors commonly used for color planning is less than 20 colors, and both hue and tone are considered important when making color selections. 4. All brands take consumers' color preferences into consideration for color planning, and most of them also take color trends into account. 5. Hue and tone color characteristics analyzed by types of fabrics show more seasonal influence than the fabric itself.

  • Storage methods to suppress growth of transplants and maintain their quality are required for successful commercial transplant production, since peak demand for transplants of flower or vegetable species falls during limited periods in spring and fall, due to the seasonal nature of the horticulture industry. Plug seedlings, probably due to their high planting density and limited rhizosphere, easily elongated or overgrown during the holding period before the market or greenhouse space is available.   • Morphology, anatomy and diurnal acid fluctuations were investigated monthly for the succulent C4 dicot Portulaca grandiflora Hook. growing under natural environmental conditions. Modified Kranz-Type sturcture and typical CAM-like cells were shown in leaves and stems, respectively. Values of indices of mesophyll succulence inleaves stems were 5.62 and 16.68, respectively. The number of stomata were 1476$\textrm{cm}^{-2}$ in leaves while the stomata in stems were not observed through growing seasons from spring to summer. However, on Sep. 16, 1981 in defoliate autumn season, stomata were begun to be produced for the first time in stems and the number were increased gradually to 216$\textrm{cm}^{-2}$ on Oct. 29. This feature can be interpreted as a seasonal plant dimorphism. P. grandiflora exhibited a diurnal fluctuation of titratable acidity in leaves and stems. Seasonal amplitudes of acid fluctuation in stems were as follows: 27 $\mu$eq./g.f.wt. on Sep. 21; 57$\mu$eq/g.f.wt. on Oct. 3; 80$\mu$eq./g.f.wt. on Oct. 21. Such the results in seasonal amplitude were able to consider due to decrease of light period and cool night air temperature according to change of season. Also, the naturally defoliated stems which had already stomata exhibited usual diurnal acid fluctuation, on the other hand the treated stems which possessed artificially closed stomata showed a few of acid fluctuation. Especially, stomata in stems are developed by seasonal dimorphism and activated stomata participate in CAM behavior of stems.

제주지역에 분포하는 활엽수의 BVOCs 배출특성 (A Study on Emission Rate of BVOCs from Broad-leaved Trees at Jeju Island)

  • Emission rates of biogenic hydrocarbon emitted from broad-leaved trees grown at Jeju Island were estimated using a dynamic enclosure method. Leaf temperature, PAR and relative humidity were monitored during the sampling time. The emission rates of isoprene and monoterpene were measured for five plants(Carpinus laxiflora, Quercus serrata, Styrax japonicus, Quercus acutissima, Quercus crispula) during the sampling period at the Halla mountain sites. Among five tree species, the highest isoprene emission rate of 10.60 ${\mu}g\;gdw^{-1}hr^{-1}$ was observed for Quercus serrata. The seasonal emission rates were the highest during summer and the emission of isoprene was highly affected by light and temperature variations. The highest emission rate of isoprene was occurred between 13:00 and 14:00, but isoprene was not emitted in nighttime because of the absence of light.

  • Seasonal and diurnal variation in serum testosterone was measured by radioimmunossary in 3 mature Korean native male goats. Blood was collected at 3-h intervals for 24h in each season. Mean levels of 4 seasons ranged from 0.82 to 2.06ng/ml and no difference was among seasons, although level in fall and winter was slightly higher. Diurnal level tended to increase at daytime in all season and when diurnal variation in level was compared to daily mean of each season, level of daytime greatly(P<0.05) increased in summer. However, variation between light and dark period in other seasons did not show significant difference. Daytime increase of testosterone was found 3 to 4 after dawn and level increased 1 to 2h ahead in summer and fall than that in others. These results in serum testosterone suggest that there was no great seasonal variation in endocrine function of goat testis.

  • 경기만 식물플랑크톤 생태에 영향을 미치는 광조건을 알기 위하여 광도, 보상 깊이, 소광계수, 투명도, 부유물질등이 조사 연구되었다. 봄부터 가을까지는 식물플 랑크톤성장에 적절한 광도를 유지하였으나 가을에는 플랑크톤 성장을 제한할 정도 의 낮은 광도를 보였다. 투명도 및 보상깊이도 계절적인 변화를 보여 동계에는 표 층하 1-2m내에 국한되었다. 소광계수는 만 전체에 전반적으로 높은 양상을 보이고 뚜렷한 계절변화를 보였다. 이와같은 낮은 광도, 낮은 보상깊이, 투명도, 높은 소광 계수는 경기만 내 특징인 높은 탁도와 높은 부유물질 농도에 기인된다. 특히 겨울 철의 나쁜 광조건은 조류와 북서계절풍에 의한 심한 수괴의 혼합으로 미세 퇴적물 의 재 부유 현상에 기인된 것으로 보인다.

전동싸리 군락의 생장특성과 피음효과 (Effect of Shading and Growth Characteristics of Melilotus suaveolens Community)

  • Seasonal changes of nitrogen fixation and growth characteristics of Melilotus suaveolens population under different light conditions were quantitatively analyzed during growting period. Height growth of M. suaveolens population was promoted after April and the shade (site 2) showed 10-20% increase of height growth in compared with that of sunny (site 1). Seasonal changes of biomass were in creased after March, the biomass at site 1 attained 78.5% that of site 2 in May. Chlorophyll content was maintained high value from March to April but, Chlorophyll content of leaf at site 1 was decreased 11.7% compared to that of site 2 in May. The nitrogen content of each organ of M. suaveolens showed higher value in March and then decreased, the high nitrogen contents of reproductive organ were achieved at the flowering stage at site 1. The root nodule of M. suaveolens population appeared in March and showed maximum value in early June and decreased remarkably after July, the amount of nodule formation of M. suaveolens at site 2 showed higher than that of site 1. The nitrogen fixation activity of root nodule of M. suaveolens initiated with shoot growth and showed maximum value in mid April, and attained second peak in early June and then decreased after July. The total nitrogen fixation of the plant showed higher value at site 2 than that of site 1. From the overall results, M. suaveolens showed increased growth under half-shady, well ventilated barren soil than fertile sunny site.

기상청에서 운용 중인 지역별 지표 홍반자외선(EUV-B) 복사의 특성 (Characteristics of Erythemal Ultraviolet Irradiance operating at Korea Meteorological Administration)

  • We analyzed the monthly and seasonal mean of the daily Erythemal Ultraviolet-B (EUV-B, $280{\sim}320nm$) irradiance operating in Pohang, Anmyeon, Gosan, Mokpo and Kangnung with UV-Biometer (Solar Light Co., Model No. 501) at clear-sky noon during the period from 1999 to 2004. Also, we investigated the seasonal and regional characteristics for the UV index over the Korean Peninsula. The daily maximum occurred near solar southing time and the highest monthly accumulated EUV-B irradiance appeared in July and August at each regional observatory. The monthly mean value of the clear-sky EUV-B irradiance in Pohang, Anmyeon, Gosan, Mokpo and Kangnung showed 196.6, 161.8, 221.9, $171.5mWm^{-2}\;and\;179.7mWm^{-2}$ near noon in July respectively. The annual mean value of the daily accumulated EUV-B irradiance in Pohang, Anmyeon, Gosan, Mokpo and Kangnung were 1.8, 2.1, 2.2, $1.8kJm^{-2}\;and\;1.5kJm^{-2}$ respectively. The UV Index (UVI) showed above UVI 7(High) more than 90 days during one year over the Korean Peninsula.

수은유아등과 집합페로몬 트랩에 의한 단감원 노린재류의 발생소장 (Seasonal Occurrence Trends of Hemipteran Bug Pests Monitored by Mercury Light and Aggregation Pheromone Traps in Sweet Persimmon Orchards)

  • 경남 지역의 단감원에서 2000­2001년에 수은유아등과 2001년에 갈색날개노린재의 집합페로몬(methyl (E, E, Z)-2, 4, 6-decatrienoate)) 트랩을 이용하여 갈색날개노린재(Plautia stali)와 썩덩나무노린재(Halyomorpha halys)의 발생소장을 조사하였다. 유아등 조사결과 썩덩나무노린재는 6월 하순부터 발생하기 시작하여 8월 상ㆍ중순이 최성기이었다. 갈색날개노린재는 썩덩나무노린재와는 달리 유살 최성기가 뚜렷하지 않았는데, 主 유인시기는 2개년 모두 7월 중순­8월 하순이었다. 두 종 모두 9월 이후에는 거의 유살되지 않았다. 집합페로몬 트랩에 의한 유살 양상은 유아등에 의한 유살양상과 달랐다. 집합페로몬 트랩조사 결과, 두 종 모두 5월 중순부터 8월 하순까지 꾸준히 유인되었다. 썩덩나무노린재는 유인수가 적어 주 발생시기가 뚜렷하지 않았고, 갈색날개노린재는 지역에 따라 6월 하순부터 8월 하순 사이에 많이 유살되었다. 갈색날개노린재는 수은유아등 보다는 집합페로몬 트랩에, 썩덩나무노린재는 수은유아등에 더 많이 유인되었다. 또한 집합페로몬 트랩에는 두 종 모두 수컷보다 암컷이 더 많이 유인되었다. 두 종류의 트랩에 의한 유살소장 차이의 원인을 탄닌함량과 연관지어 고찰하였다.

목초의 생산성에 미치는 차광의 영향 (Influence of Shading on the Productivity of Grasses and Legumes)

  • Four foreign pasture cultivars such as Lotus corniculatus cv. Maitland, Trifolium pratense cv. Deben, Lolium perenne cv. $S_{23}$ and .Dactylis glomerata cv. $S_{26}$ were tested with "Kwisan" series, a common upland soil in Southern part of Korea. The cultivars in single or mixture were grown in pot with two levels of light intensity, i.e. a full sun light condition and 50% interception. Dry matter yield of top and root and their seasonal changes, the number of tillers or branches per plant and finally competative effects of mixtures were evaluated by estimating the expected yield, relative yield totals and compensation index. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Maitland showed a significant decrease in dry matter yield in shade condition, but the number of branches of Maitland was higher than those of Deben. 2. Maitland showed higher dry matter yield than Deben during the mid-summer period, while $S_{23}$, showed higher dry matter yield than $S_{26}$ during early season. 3. Mixtures of $S_{23}$ and Maitland, and $S_{26}$ and Deben gave better response to grasses by increasing the number of tillers in shade condition. 4. Combinations of Lotus corniculatus cv. Maitland and Dactylis glomerata cv. $S_{26}$ and Trifolium pratense cv. Deben and Dactylis glomerata cv. $S_{26}$ gave higher relative yield totals and higher compensation index, which envisages that the pasture establishment rates can be enhanced when those mixtures were sown by the oversowing method in the upland soil where phosphate level is very low and infertile in general.n general.
