WWW의 정보량의 증가에 있어서 그 속도는 어마어마하게 빠르게 늘어나고 있다. 탐색 엔진의 역할은 좀 더 필요하고 중요한 정보를 찾는 것에 있다. 현재 대부분의 검색엔진은 더 많은 자료를 찾는 것을 제 1차 목표로 하고 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 찾은 데이터에는 많은 쓰레기 정보가 포함되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 "정보에 관한 정보"를 사전에 인덱싱하여 놓음으로서 XML 기반으로 구조적으로 구성하여 데이터베이스에 저장하여 놓았다. 그리고 검색 에이전트를 사용하여 효과적으로 데이터를 찾을 수 있는 방법을 구현하였다.

Current paper investigates the dynamic behavior and stability of an infrared search and track subjected to external disturbance having gimbal structure with three rotating axes keeping constant angular velocity in the azimuth direction. Euler-Lagrange equation is applied to derive the coupled nonlinear dynamic equation of motion of infrared search and track and the characteristics of dynamic coupling are investigated. Two equilibrium points with small variations from the nonlinear coupling system are derived and the specific condition from which a coupled equation can be three independent equations is derived. Finally, to examine the stability of system, Lyapunov direct method was used and system stability and stability boundaries are investigated.

Off-line ship chartering is done nearly through the brokers. Because of the international scale of chartering market, brokers spend too much times and costs on searching the most appropriate product which the consumers want. In this research, we propose the on-line Charter Product Categorization Model to search the products efficiently in the Cyber Chartering System. This Model will make concerned parties of the ship chartering to get unified product information efficiently, and the select the most appropriate product. In this research, we classified the ship chartering products into categories of cargo, ship type, and sea routes, and defined mutual relation of each products, and we verified that this classification is necessary to search the products through the product searching experiment.

On the Internet we are confronted with a huge amount of information in daily lives. However, we do not have system support for storing and managing Internet search results useful for us. To solve this problem, this paper presents a data management system in which search results obtained from wikipedia and a web search engine are organized in a structured way, enabling an easy access to them later.

This paper presents to design User eXperience(UX) of anthropomorphic animal characters search system (hereinafter, AACSS) for efficient user search. To this end, meta data were utilized herein to elevate the search efficiency of multimedia information and text information. Anthropomorphic animal characters require the human elements and the animal elements, thus this paper extracted the key elements of meta data as below; phenotypic element in animal system classification (Morphologic property elements, Ecological property elements, Behavioral property elements), emotion classification, which is the trait of personification and the Step of Anthropomorphic Animal Characters.

WEB기반의 환경 GIS자료 관리를 위해 JVM, JDBC, Oracle DB을 이용한다. 본 논문에서의 다루는 환경 GIS자료에는 위성, 주제도, GIS자료 등이 있으며, 이 자료는 공간 정보와 속성 정보를 가지고 DB에 존재한다. 자료의 검색은 WEB Broswer의 조회용 지도를 이용한 공간 검색과 비공간 속성 정보에 의한 검색 기능을 제공한다. 자료 등록은 WEB Broswer에서 자료 등록 시스템을 이용한다.

The Internet has become widely used in many countries. In particular, a new emerging technology, the WWW (World Wide Web), which has become a major application of the Internet, has been rapidly developed. As a result, there are hundreds of millions of URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) on the WWW, and the total number of URLs is still explosively increasing. To get information from the WWW, we generally use Internet search engines. However, we cannot always get the actual information we want. Accordingly, we have solved this problem by constructing a prototype system based on agents by programming language Java for constructing a more effective search engine. This so-called “intelligent agent system on WWW” deletes redundant HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) files and exchanges information about the existence of URLs. And we found that our prototype system is more powerful and effective than conventional search engines.

In Korea, the System of search and rescue in water have came into force on the basis of the Korea Life Saving and Rescue Act. 1961. But It's a premodern administration law which is not fit for an international system of the search and rescue and become disconnected with reality in Korea. Recently the marine casualties occur frequently in Korea coastal area, therefore, we need to amend the 1961 Act. The amendment which is carried out by the Korea Maritime Police Agency is a provision to receive International convention(SAR, 1979). The amendment of this Act will give a epoch-making change to Korean policy of the life-saving and rescue, security to marine safety and contribution to National positon on system of "Search and Rescue". In this thesis, I propose a development scheme to be conductive to original task on "Search and Rescue" of International Convention in Korea Life Saving and Rescue Act(Amendment, 1994).t(Amendment, 1994).

In this study, a novel parallel wavefront correction system architecture is proposed, and a model-based tabu search (MBTS) algorithm is introduced for this new system to compensate wavefront aberration caused by atmospheric turbulence in a free-space optical (FSO) communication system. The algorithm flowchart is presented, and a simple hypothetical design for the parallel correction system with multiple adaptive optical (AO) subsystems is given. The simulated performance of MBTS for an AO-FSO system is analyzed. The results indicate that the proposed algorithm offers better performance in wavefront aberration compensation, coupling efficiency, and convergence speed than a stochastic parallel gradient descent (SPGD) algorithm.

This paper deals with the study of distributed design system and the implementation of JAVA based initial design system using CORBA/sup [1-3]/. In the state of initial design, designer should consider other information related to a design part. In this case, designer has a difficult problem to search and calculate distributed data. We propose a special connector named ‘Allocator’and implement an initial design system AIDS(Agent based Initial Design system). AIDS can help designer search and calculate the distributed information. In this study, JAVA and CORBA were chosen for handling network and distribute programming. AIDS focuses on the possibility of incremental concurrent design capability. AIDS is comported of Request-Agent, Calculator-Agent, View-Agent, Search-Agent, and ‘Allocator’. The proposed system can be used for designing initial design of a gripper in the web regardless of operating system.
