함정 전투체계의 3화면 다기능콘솔 설계를 위한 인간공학적 분석 기법 연구 (Ergonomic Analysis on 3-Screen Multi-function Console Design of the Naval Combat System)

  • This paper proposes a 3-screen multi-function console development method using ergonomic design approach. Ergonomically designed console has the advantage of decreasing operator fatigue and increasing concentration by providing better readability, operability and convenience. For this, thirty subjects participated in the experiment for 3-screen multi-function console design. Ergonomic standards of console design were used to establish experiment design and to eliminate incompatible results with ergonomic standards. Subjects evaluated the nine predefined placements of displays and asked to place the display and controllers in order to use comfortably. As a results, total 18 design criteria including displays and controllers placement were determined.

  • In this study, a star screen model was constructed to predict the dynamic characteristics of interactive waste particles and to simulate separation capability of the particle using geared type screen(star screen). In order to approach this model, it is necessary to determine the design parameters of the screen such as driving torque, percentage of open space, and capability. Thus, a dynamic star screen model was developed with a total of 32 columns of geared assembly including screen part, wastes guide, and extra joints to rotate the screen using ADAMS. Each parameter was simulated to predict the screening capability for particle size, rotating speed, and particle condition. From the results, separation ability was predicted according to the affecting variables by using the dynamic star screen model.

  • 본 논문에서는 MVC 패턴에 기반한 클래스 다이어그램 저작도구의 설계와 구현을 제시하고자 한다. 클래스 다이어그램 저작도구의 설계는 ClassInformation, ScreenDisplay, ToolManager에 대한 정의를 하고 구조를 기술한다. ClassInformation은 다이어그램의 정보를 가공하거나 처리하는 부분을 담당한다. ScreenDisplay는 저작도구의 화면을 구성하기 위해서 GUI를 담당한다. ToolManager는 저작도구의 입출력 처리위해 이벤트 처리를 담당한다. MVC 패턴을 바탕으로 저작도구의 ClassInformation, ScreenDisplay, ToolManager는 각각의 역할이 독립적으로 나눠져 있고, 결합도를 낮추기 때문에 새로운 기능 추가에 유연하게 대처한다.

Designing Coherent User Interfaces of N-Screen Services Reflecting Users' Task Knowledge

  • Objective: Companies want to expand their business by providing their services at other devices and new services based upon existing services. Therefore, they look for building brand identity by providing same experience throughout devices and services. Background: Many services are available to use at multiple devices including mobile phones, tablet, personal computers, and televisions, thanks to proliferation of n-screen and cloud technology. Method: It was discussed that consistency, which emphasizes the regularity and has been one of essential aspects of user interface design, seems not effective to be applied to n-screen services, owing to different screen size, input and output peripherals, usage environment and users' attitude. Results: A new definition of same experience among different devices and services, called coherence, was introduced and abstraction levels of user interfaces were proposed as the denominator of defining coherence. Then types of users' task knowledge at each abstraction level were discussed with examples. Conclusion: This paper concluded by discussing design requirements for designing coherent user interfaces among devices and services.

사용자 위치 인식 기반 맞춤형 N-Screen Service 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of User Location-based N-Screen Service System)

  • Through numerous mobile device technology advances, various multimedia contents is moving towards mobile devices from existing personal computer (PC). These paradigm has emerged taking into account these idea, the so-called N-Screen, N-Screen is user-centric service to provide running and sharing on everywhere via advanced smart system in C-P-N-T (Content, Platform, Network, Terminal). Therefore we must provide securing of various contents, openended platform, and user-centric service for efficient N-Screen service. For These characteristic of N-Screen, this paper propose design and implementation of user location-based N-Screen service system. The proposed system realize user location through user's smart phone and offer automatic streaming service to user. And also, we provide web service-based extended N-Screen service. Thus, user can access various device, such as laptop, tablet, and mobile device.

  • Nowadays a large number of PLCs are being used in automatic machines for factory automation in industry, and HMI is essential for the effective and convenient operation of PLCs. Each screen displayed in actual EMI equipment should be created, modified and deleted using a PC-based editor and it should be composed of necessary display components to express desired OUI. Based object-oriented development methodology, this study designed screen objects representing a editing screen, display components forming the UI of screens and data management objects necessary for data exchange with HIM system and, based on the objects, implemented a HMI screen editor.

  • To build a successful information system, design and development should be carried out from the enterprise perspective. A complicated business is represented in various ways as technology advances, and many development methodologies have been studied from the viewpoint of technology and development. Each domain is independently designed and developed from the enterprise perspective, but there would be inclusive parts due to the integrated process wherein the definition, design, and development of business are carried out, and the design is done based on the designer's experience. This study would like to address the technique of designing screens based on the business process of the applications derived from the business. It designs the screens that appear when actual applications are completed, including how the data transfer process in the derived business process is represented and operated on the relevant screens. It designs the screen which is displayed when the actual application is completed and how the data transfer process in the derived business process is represented and operated on the relevant screen. In addition, it designs the DFD representing the overall flow of data for each business to represent the movement procedure between screens in general. Through the design method proposed in this study, the client's requirement could be confirmed to reduce the cost for redevelopment, the problem of communication between designers and developers with various experiences could be reduced, and an efficient design procedure could be provided to persons who lack design experience.

실험계획법을 이용한 진공유리 Pillar의 배치공정 최적화 (The Arrangement Process Optimization of Vacuum Glazing Pillar using the Design of Experiments)

  • In this study, the optimal process condition was induced about the pillar arrangement process of applying the screen printing method in the manufacture process of vacuum glazing panel. The high precision screen printing is technology which pushes out the paste and spreads it by using the squeegee on the stainless steel plate in which the pattern is formed. The screen printing method is much used in the flat panel display field including the LCD, PDP, FED, organic EL, and etc for forming the high precision micro-pattern. Also a number of studies of screen printing method have been conducted as the method for the cost down through the improvement of productivity. The screen printing method has many parameters. So we used Taguchi method in order to decrease test frequencies and optimize this parameters efficiently. In this study, experiments of pillar arrangement were performed by using Taguchi experimental design. We analyzed experimental results and obtained optimal conditions which are 4 m/s of squeegee speed, $40^{\circ}$ of squeegee angle and distance between metal mask and glass.
