북한의 중공업 부문 대기오염물질 배출량 추정 (Estimation of air pollutant emissions from heavy industry sector in North Korea)

  • This study aims to estimate the amount of air pollutants emitted from heavy industry facilities in North Korea. To compare the emission in 2017 from the heavy industry sector in North Korea with South Korea, the heavy industry sector was classified with the South Korean classification (Matching Heavy Industry sector) and air pollutant emissions by Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea were estimated. The CO, NOx and SOx emissions of Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea are 22%, 73%, and 31% of the emission in South Korea, respectively. The air pollutant emissions in the Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea for CO, NOx and SOx were 0.6%, 124%, and 24% of the total air pollutant emission in North Korea estimated from EDGAR, respectively. As for the distribution of emissions by administrative district of the Matching Heavy Industry sector in North Korea, NOx was concentrated in the western part of North Korea, and CO and SOx emissions were concentrated in Hamgyong-bukto.

Developing Strategy for Heritage Tourism Supply Chain Quality Management

  • Increasing the tourism sector has a positive impact on a country. The Indonesian government has targeted to increase the number of tourists from year to year including the heritage tourism sector. However, the number of the heritage tourism sector increases slowly. To overcome this problem, this research is aimed to investigate the services performed by managements of that sector; the barrier and driver factors of heritage tourism supply chain quality management; and to identify strategies that can be implemented to improve the sector. This study used SERVQUAL method to analyze service performance of the sector. Furthermore, an in-depth interview was conducted to achieve completed objectives. The data obtained from questionnaires and interviews in several heritage tourism areas located in East Java Province of Indonesia. The results show that all SERVQUAL dimensions stay on the adequate value range. Visitors argue that the heritage tourism sector in East Java has interesting locations, collections and circumstances. However, the sector has several weaknesses compared to other tourism sectors. The strategy that can be done to improve the performance of this sector are to perform the area as an event venue, additional visiting hours, integration with other types of tourism sectors, making websites as a means of promotion.

Sector-based Charging Schedule in Rechargeable Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Adopting mobile chargers (MC) in rechargeable wireless sensors network (R-WSN) to recharge sensors can increase network efficiency (e.g., reduce MC travel distance per tour, reduce MC effort, and prolong WSN lifetime). In this study, we propose a mechanism to split the sensing field into partitions that may be equally spaced but differ in distance to the base station. Moreover, we focus on minimizing the MC effort by providing a new charging mechanism called the sector-based charging schedule (SBCS), which works to dispatch the MC in charging trips to the sector that sends many charging requests and suggesting an efficient sensor-charging algorithm. Specifically, we first utilize the high ability of the BS to divide the R-WSN field into sectors then it select the cluster head for each sector to reduce the intra-node communication. Second, we formulate the charging productivity as NP-hard problem and then conduct experimental simulations to evaluate the performance of the proposed mechanism. An extensive comparison is performed with other mechanisms. Experimental results demonstrate that the SBCS mechanism can prolong the lifetime of R-WSNs by increasing the charging productivity about 20% and reducing the MC effort by about 30%.

Strain based finite element for the analysis of heterogeneous hollow cylinders subjected to thermo-mechanical loading

  • The effectiveness and accuracy of the strain-based approach applied for analysis of two kinds of heterogeneous hollow cylinders subjected to thermal and mechanical loads are examined in this study. One is a multilayer cylinder in which the material in each layer is assumed to be linearly elastic, homogeneous and isotropic. Another is a hollow cylinder made of functionally graded materials with arbitrary gradient. The steady state condition without heat generation is considered. A sector in-plane finite element in the polar coordinate system based on strain approach is used. This element has only three degrees of freedom at each corner node. Analytical solutions available in the literature are presented to illustrate the accuracy of the sector element used. The obtained results for displacements and stresses are shown to be in good agreement with the analytical solutions.

정보보호 산업의 경제적 파급효과 및 기여도 분석 (Economic ripple effect and growth contribution of information security industry)

  • 본 연구는 산업연관분석을 통하여 국내 정보보호 제조 및 서비스 산업의 경제파급효과를 분석한 것이다. 분석 결과, 정보보호 제품의 생산유발계수는 전 산업 평균보다 크지만, 정보보호 서비스는 전 산업 평균을 크게 하회하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 부가가치유발계수 및 고용유발계수의 경우 정보보호 서비스는 전 산업 평균을 크게 상회하는데 반해, 정보보호 제품은 전 산업 평균에 미치지 못해 생산유발계수와 대조적인 결과를 보였다. 전ㆍ후방 연쇄효과는 정보보호 제품 및 서비스 모두 산업 평균보다 낮은 수준으로 나타났다. 그리고 정보보호 산업은 전반적으로 국민경제에 미치는 성장 기여도와 고용기여도가 미약한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 정보보호 제품의 경우 고용기여도가 마이너스를 기록해 해당 부문의 고용증대를 위한 노력이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.

Current status, challenges and the way forward for dairy goat production in Europe

  • The aim of this review is to show the evolution of the dairy goat sector in Europe from all perspectives. Starting from the current situation, the challenges and future potential of this livestock system are presented, as well as strategies to overcome the difficulties faced. Europe holds 1.9% of the world goat population and produces 15.1% of goat milk recorded worldwide. The goat species plays a fundamental economic, social and environmental role in many regions of Europe. The wide diversity of production systems and autochthonous breeds makes the sector very heterogeneous. In order to improve viability, a number of strategies need to be adopted to solve the current problems such as a low profitability, absence of generational change and a little or no recognition of the social and environmental role of the sector. Some strategies to improve the situation of the European goat sector include: i) generating market value that will recognise the diversity of the dairy goat sector (breeds, feeding models, derived products${\ldots}$); ii) promoting and raising awareness of the functional attributes of goat milk and derived products so as to increase consumption; iii) assigning an economic value to environmental and social functions; iv) improving working conditions through technological innovation to make goat farming more attractive to young people; and v) processing more milk into cheese or other dairy products in production areas.

  • The air quality data is important for understanding and analyzing a surrounding influence. In that light, it is positively necessary for a propriety assessment to determine a location of the air quality monitoring sites. In this study, the climate analysis about temperature and wind, using the meteorological data in the Pohang, is conducted to do that. In the next stage, we distinguished the wind by east-west or north-south component, which has less correlation than temperature, analyzed and divided the wind sector. As the result, the wind circumstance of the Pohang is divided into major 5 wind sector; that is the urban area, the northeast coastal area, the east ocean and the west mountainous area. We think that an analysis on detailed wind sector by utilizing the numerical simulation is needed.

  • We have investigated coarse wind sectors in Busan metropolitan area and simulated detailed wind field using local atmospheric circulation model, RAMS in preceding studies (Part I, Part II). In this study, we divided and analyzed local wind sector in Busan according to the preceding results. We found that Busan metropolitan area is divided into 2 or 3 local wind sector in each coarse wind sector. The 9 coarse wind sectors were classified into 20 local wind sectors in total. But three local wind sectors were finally excluded because of these sectors were located on the complex hill area and the sea. Local wind sectors, therefore, in Busan metropolitan area were defined as 17 regimes. We assessed the location of air qualify monitoring sites at Busan metropolitan area using the information of these wind sectors. Most of these were located at proper points, but 6 sites were placed at 3 local wind sectors as a couple and no site was set up at 3 other sectors. Hence the location of these sites was in need of rearrange.

상호 결합을 이용한 광대역 E-면 H 섹터 혼 위상 배열 안테나 설계 (The Design of a Broadband E-plane H Sectoral Horn Phased Array Antenna Using Mutual Coupling)

  • H 섹터 혼 안테나는 일정한 빔 커버리지를 가지면서 빔 조향을 하는 광대역 위상 배열 송신기의 복사 소자로 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 상호 결합을 이용하여 3:1 주파수 대역과 ${\pm}60^{\circ}$의 빔 조향 범위를 갖는 광대역 E-면 H 섹터 혼 위상 배열 안테나를 설계하였다. 주자계면에서 반전력 빔 폭이 $30{\sim}50^{\circ}$을 갖는 H 섹터 혼 안테나를 설계하였다. 도파관 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 상호 결합을 포함하는 능동 반사 계수를 계산하였고, 광대역 주파수 범위에서 상호 결합에 의하여 능동 반사 특성이 개선되었다. 이러한 결과를 이용하여 $8{\times}1$ H 섹터 혼 위상 배열안테나를 제작하였다. 주자계면에서의 반전력 빔 폭과 능동 반사 계수의 측정 결과는 시뮬레이션 결과와 잘 일치하였다. 빔 조향된 복사 빔들의 첨두치 패턴은 능동 소자 패턴과 잘 일치하였다. 3:1 주파수 대역과 빔 조향 범위에서 능동 반사 계수는 대부분 0.3 이하로 측정되었다.
