사서교사 양성을 위한 문헌정보학 교과목의 내용과 교육의 전략적 강조점에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Instructional Contents and Strategies for School Library Media Specialist Education)

  • 이 논문은 사서교사 양성을 위한 문헌정보학 교과목에 포함되어야 하는 교육 내용과 전략적 강조점을 탐색하였다. 사서교사 인력에 대한 현장의 수요가 지속되는 현실에도 불구하고 교육의 체계와 내용이 부실한 상황을 전제로 하여 연구자는 그 개선 방안으로 교육 내용의 강화와 교육의 전략적 강조점을 제시하였다. 사서교사 양성 교육의 영역을 도서관 운영 영역. 독서 영역, 교수 학습 영역으로 나누어 확충되고 개선되어야 하는 점을 제시하였다. 도서관 운영 영역에서는 기능위주의 교육을 탈피하고 철학과 역사에 대한 교육을 보완해야 하며 독서 영역에서는 이론 위주 교육보다는 독서 자료에 대한교육을 강화하여 독서프로그램 운영의 실제 능력을 배양해야 하며 교수 학습 영역에서는 교과과정 운영과 수업 운영의 기본 능력을 배양하는 방향으로 교육내용을 설정해야 한다고 하였다. 그리고 현재의 학교도서관 상황과 문헌정보학 교육 수준에서 고려되고 반영되어야 하는 교육적 전략으로 견고한 사서교사 정신의 확립, 현장 적응력의 강화, 자료 전문성의 제고 등을 제안하였다. 이러한 내용이 교육과정 편성이나 교재 편찬에 실제적으로 반영되어야 하며 나아가 사서교사 자격 인증제도 등에 대한 모색도 논의되어야 한다고 제안하였다.

PEC공법을 활용한 급경사 암비탈면의 생태복원녹화 기술개발에 관한 기초적 연구 (Development of the Revegetation Technology for the Ecological Restoration of the Steep Rock-exposed Slopes by PEC Methods)

  • This study was conducted to develop revegetation methods for the restoration of the steep slopes by recycling of bark compost and mushroom media. In general, bark compost and mushroom media can be used as soil media for the restoration works, because they can increase infiltration of rainfall and give enough porous to breathe and elongate for the root growth as well as environmental value. This experiment was carried out to know the effect of soil media composed by different ratio of mushroom media for the restoration of steep rock-exposed slopes, and to certificate how soil media(PEC) will be effective to germinate and grow for native plants. The main results of the study are summarized as follows; 1. In percent coverage, the soil media PEC1 is more valuable than PEC2. The seed mixtures recommended by Government of Transportation and Construction can be used at PEC1 and PEC2, but it will be more useful if the total amount of seed are reduced and seed mixtures are altered in a direction of native plants. 2. The soil media is under 20 mm tested by Yamanaka Hardiness Tester which is available for the seed germination and growth. 3. The surface cracks are not occurred in PEC1 and PEC2, but more than 30 cracks per 1 square meter are occurred at soil media which is constructed by normal soil-seed-fertilizer hydro-seeding methods. 4. The soil moisture contents are over 20 percent level during 15 day. Such moisture content in soil media will be effective for the plant growth. By using Terra-Control, PEC can maintain enough soil moisture. 5. The eroded soils from $60^{\circ}$ slopes by artificial rainfall with the intensity of 20 mm/hr in one day after seeding are estimated under 1%. By the results of erosion test, it comes to the conclusion that soil media of PEC can be adapted at steep rock exposed slopes.

The Comparison of Commercial Serum-Free Media for Hanwoo Satellite Cell Proliferation and the Role of Fibroblast Growth Factor 2

  • Fetal bovine serum (FBS), which contains various nutrients, comprises 20% of the growth medium for cell-cultivated meat. However, ethical, cost, and scientific issues, necesitates identification of alternatives. In this study, we investigated commercially manufactured serum-free media capable of culturing Hanwoo satellite cells (HWSCs) to identify constituent proliferation enhancing factors. Six different serum-free media were selected, and the HWSC proliferation rates in these serum-free media were compared with that of control medium supplemented with 20% FBS. Among the six media, cell proliferation rates were higher only in StemFlexTM Medium (SF) and Mesenchymal Stem Cell Growth Medium DXF (MS) than in the control medium. SF and MS contain high fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) concentrations, and we found upregulated FGF2 protein expression in cells cultured in SF or MS. Activation of the fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1)-mediated signaling pathway and stimulation of muscle satellite cell proliferation-related factors were confirmed by the presence of related biomarkers (FGFR1, FRS2, Raf1, ERK, p38, Pax7, and MyoD) as indicated by quantitative polymerase chain reaction, western blotting, and immunocytochemistry. Moreover, PD173074, an FGFR1 inhibitor suppressed cell proliferation in SF and MS and downregulated related biomarkers (FGFR1, FRS2, Raf1, and ERK). The promotion of cell proliferation in SF and MS was therefore attributed to FGF2, which indicates that FGFR1 activation in muscle satellite cells may be a target for improving the efficiency of cell-cultivated meat production.

Measurement and Clinical Analysis of Carotid Intima, Media and Intima-Media Thickness

  • Individual clinical significance of each layer of CCA (common carotid artery) has not been well studied. We intended to measure the intima thickness (IT), media thickness (MT), and intima-media thickness (IMT) of CCA separately and tried to analyze the clinical significance. One hundred fifty one consecutive patients (mean age: $57{\pm}15$ years; 77 males, 74 females) underwent CCA scanning using high-resolution ultrasound. The images were off-line analyzed using B-mode ultrasound image processing, devised for individual measurement of IT and MT as well as IMT. The mean coefficients of variation of new method measuring IT, MT, and IMT separately were 0.16% for IMT and 0.21% for both IT and MT. The IT (p < 0.01), MT (p < 0.01) as well as IMT (p < 0.001) of patients with atherosclerotic disease were significantly thicker than that of the patients without atherosclerotic disease. Patients with hypertension showed significantly thicker IT (p < 0.01), MT (p < 0.001), and IMT (p < 0.001) than that of the patients without hypertension. However, only IT was thicker in patients with smoking (p<0.01) than that of the patients without smoking.

Effects of Media on the Callogenensis and Cell Mass Production in Cell Cultures of Panax vietnamensis

  • This study was initiated to investigate the impacts of media types and other components on the callogenensis and cell mass production of Panax vietnamensis in the first step of the cell biomass procedure. Four media were checked: Murashige-Skoog (MS), White, Gamborg and Nitch-AII. All the four media were shown potential media for Panax vietnamensis callogenensis and cell mass production, in which the MS medium showed the best results: the successful callogenensis ratio and cell mass formation were 30% and 62,93 ${\pm}$ 3,63 mg (DW) respectively, the Nitch medium showed the lowest results: the successful callogenensis ratio and cell mass formation were 15% and 27,10 ${\pm}$ 2,24 mg (DW) respectively. The results showed that the MS medium is the most suitable medium for Panax vietnamensis callogenensis and cell mass production.

  • 소셜미디어를 통해 생산된 유용한 정보 및 지식자료들은 빠르게 생산되고 퍼지고 있다. 소셜미디어 게시물의 보존 및 관리를 하지 않으면 한순간에 사라질 수 있으며, 따라서 이제는 이를 아카이브하기 위한 노력을 기울여야 할 때이다. 본 연구는 공공기관의 소셜미디어 아카이브를 위한 기초연구로써, 대구광역시 12개 공공기관을 대상으로 소셜미디어 운영 실태를 조사하고, 소셜미디어 게시글의 내용유형을 정의하였으며, 게시글의 내용유형과 플랫폼의 특징을 면밀히 분석하였다. 소셜미디어 게시글 수집을 위해서는 NVivo를 사용하였다. 이를 통해 소셜미디어는 공공기록으로서 아카이브되어야 함을 다시 확인하였고, 효과적인 아카이브를 위한 시사점을 도출하였다.

Analyzing Gifted Students' Social Behavior on Social Media at COVID-19 Quarantine

  • COVID-19 has caused a global disturbance, increased anxiety, and panic, eliciting diverse reactions. While its cure has not been discovered, new infection cases and fatalities are being recorded daily. The focus of the present study was to analyze the reaction of gifted undergraduate students on social media during the quarantine period of the COVID-19. A special group of gifted students, who joined the program of attracting and nurturing talents at the University of Jeddah, University students as were the target sample of this study. To analyze online reactions during the pandemic; the choice of university students was arrived at as they are perceived to be gifted academically. Hence, the analysis of the impacts on their behavior on social media use is imperative. This study presented accurate and consistent data on the effects of social media using Twitter platforms on gifted students during the quarantine occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. The behavior of learners due to during the use of social media was extensively explored and results analyzed. The study was carried out between April and May 2020 (quarantine period in Saudi Arabia) to establish whether the online behavior of gifted students reflects positive or negative feelings. The methods used in conducting this study the research were online interviews and scraping participants' Twitter accounts (where most of the online activities and studies take place). The study employed the Activity theory to analyze the behavior of gifted students on social media. The sample size used was 60 students, and the analysis of their behavior was based on Activity theory Overall, the results showed proactive, positive behavior for coping with a challenging situation, educating society, and entertaining. Finally, this study recommends investing in gifted students due to their valuable problem-solving skills that can help handle global pandemics efficiently.

  • Electronic media are an integral part of modern civilization; educational practices are no exception, which should change the content orientations, structures and methodological approaches in accordance with the requirements of the educational market. This makes it relevant to find effective and successful configurations in the process of implementing modern educational practices. The purpose of the research lies in determining the basic principles of electronic media and their place in modern education, identifying the effectiveness of teaching disciplines with application of electronic media, as well as establishing the level of assessment by students of the need to involve different types of electronic media in the educational process and professional practice. The research methodology is complex; the descriptive method and methods of observation, analysis and synthesis have been used in the academic paper. The method of pedagogical experiment has become the principal one; the method of questionnaires and statistical methods have been also used. The hypothesis of the academic paper lies in the fact that the involvement of electronic media in the educational process makes it more effective and requires conceptual changes in educational practices. The result of the research manifests in the identification of new opportunities for the use of electronic media, leading to conceptual shifts in the framework of modern educational policies. In the future, it will be appropriate to consider the theoretical aspects of changing worldview models in education and the use of new media in the educational process, their effectiveness and relevance.

  • Recent advanced technologies enable multiple users to share the virtual environment and work together as they are collocated. Additional sensory information such as haptic could improve the cooperation. In this paper, we propose a server-client architecture with multi-rate haptic control to support a tangible cooperation. Using our approach, the system is able to maintain a consistent simulation state across multiple users as well as to provide a highfidelity stable haptic interaction. To verify our approach, we have developed an experimental application and tested the cooperation among multiple users. The results confirm that our system is able to provide coherency among clients as well as haptic transparency.

  • 실감형 360도 미디어는 기존 영상보다 고품질, 초대용량으로 영상의 크기가 크며, 다양한 렌더링 방식을 사용하여 기존방식으로 이미지 처리할 경우 영상인식 속도가 느려지는 문제가 있다. 또한, 실감형 360도 미디어의 특성상 특정 장소에서 카메라를 고정시켜 한 장면만 촬영하는 경우가 대부분이기 때문에, 모든 영상에서 특징정보를 추출할 필요가 없다. 본 논문에서는 실감형 360 미디어의 프레임 추출과정, 프레임 다운사이징, 구형 형태의 렌더링 과정을 거치고, 렌더링 과정에서 영상을 16개 프레임으로 분할 캡처하여 캡처된 프레임에서 객체 정보가 많은 중앙 부분에서 픽셀당 RGB 벡터와 딥 러닝을 이용하여 객체를 추출한 뒤, 객체 특징정보를 이용하여 대표 프레임을 선정하는 방법을 제안한다.
