The purpose of this study is to compare the performance and satisfaction of online classes and non-face-to-face mixed classes at universities during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was conductedtargeted fourth-grade students taking adult nursing lectures at the Department of Nursing at one university. Class performance and class satisfaction were compared between students who participated in the non-face-to-face class and participated in the non-face-to-face mixed class. class performance, students' average scores out of 100 on the final exams were compared. Class satisfaction compared the average score of questionnaire on class satisfaction Class performance was high in online classes, Class satisfaction was higher in mixed classes than in non-face-to-face classes. In the future, it will be necessary to develop and operate various educational methods for university education in the post-COVID-19 era.
Daily science classes, which have been continued as part of the spread of participatory science culture, has taken the lead in popularizing science as an effective out-of-school experiential and research activity. However, due to the recent COVID-19 situation, daily science classes have also become an environment in which there is no choice but to switch to non-face-to-face or to combine face-to-face and non-face-to-face education. Therefore, in this study, we examine how elementary school students participating in the non-face-to-face daily science class program change their usual fields of interest, perception of science and technology, interest about science, and scientific competency. In addition, the educational effectiveness of the non-face-to-face daily science class improved by comparing the differences in perceptions of students and parents, and future operation plans were sought. As a result of the study, after participating in the non-face-to-face daily science class program, students' interest in science and technology development, future technology, environmental pollution, and social media increased, and their interest in games decreased. Also, students' interest in science and technology activities, interest in science, and scientific competency also increased. This shows that non-face-to-face daily science class education is effective. Therefore, it was suggested that it is necessary to diversify the learning topics and content levels of the daily science class program, to expand the opportunities of non-face-to-face science education for underprivileged learners, and to develop and share science content using the latest media.

Following are the study results. First, the class theme should be selected by the teachers who participate in the experiment for the year to raise their training ability for experiment class. Second, the direct activity of the teachers' joining in experiment training for the development of experiment training module, and the demonstration with the developed module-used experiment class need to be included to the program Third, the assessment for the demonstration of experiment attitude, the development process of experiment training module, would be more advisable compared with that for written examination for the teachers joined in the experiment training to concentrate more on the experimental activities and to get richer experiment experience As this study results show, the theme selection, class method and assessment method involved in ongoing experiment training need for betterment for the science teachers to apply it at schools and this improved experiment training program proposed by this study is suitable for that under a condition it has to be modified and supplemented to the distinct features of every city and province.
Antimicrobial agents or additives have commonly been used in domestic animals for the prevention and treatment of bacterial diseases. Unfortunately, this has resulted in the overgrowth of bacteria that is resistant to antimicrobial agents used by humans, and these might get disseminated to humans via the food. In this study, we investigated the prevalence of integrons, and characterized gene cassette arrays in Proteus mirabilis isolates obtained from chickens in Chungcheong province of Korea. Additionally, the correlation between gene cassette arrays and antimicrobial resistance rate was studied. A total of 26 Proteus mirabilis isolates were recovered from chickens in Chungcheong province in Korea. Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined by disk diffusion method. PCR and DNA sequencing were performed to characterize the gene cassette arrays. In addition, we employed repetitive extragenic palindromic sequence-based PCR (REP-PCR) method for clonality analysis of P. mirabilis strains. Of the 26 P. mirabilis isolates tested, 14 (53.8%) isolates carried class 1 integrons, while class 2 and class 3 integrons were not detected in our study. The class 1 integrons harbored genes encoding resistance to aminoglycosides (aacCA5, aadA2, aadA5 and aadA7), trimethoprim (dfrA17, and dfrA32), lincosamides (linF) and erythromycin (ereA). In particular, the presence of class 1 integron had a significant correlatation to a high resistance rate of aminoglycoside and trimethoprim. We confirmed that class 1 integrons are widely disseminated in P. mirabilis isolates from chickens, contributing to the resistance to diverse antimicrobial agents in Korea. To prevent further spreading of antimicrobial resistant genes among P. mirabilis isolates, constant monitoring and clinical policing will become necessary.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of question-generating strategy on science academic achievement, scientific attitude in elementary science class. To examine the effects of question-generating strategy this learning materials were applied to elementary science curriculum, and an experimental group and a control group were selected from $5^{th}$ graders at H elementary school located in Gyeonggi-do. Students were taught for 6 weeks. Control group take traditional lessons and solve questions presented textbook. Question generated group generate questions, solve them and feed back by themselves. The results of this study were found statistically significant difference in the pupil's enhancement of the science academic achievement, scientific attitude (p<.05).
