쇼어경도표준의 확립에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of Shore Hardness Standards)

  • Shore hardness test was developed in 1906 to overcome the limit of Brinell hardness test. However, the detailed requirements on the tester was not clearly specified except the scale, i.e., 100 HS for high carbon steel and 10 HS for soft brass. As a result, the shore hardness was used for quite long time without well established standards. For the establishment of hardness standards, standard tester, standard procedure, and standard hardness block must be provided. So far the standard of Shore hardness was maintained by correlating Shore hardness scale to Vickers hardness through converting equation. This is the so called converted Shore hardness and it is not the true Shore hardness standard strictly. In this paper, the possibility of establishing Shore hardness standard based on the Shore standard hardness tester is reported.

  • The most popular consolidation tester is a standard consolidatiion tester, which performs consolidation using the step load weight. However this apparatus is used to obtain only the vertical consolidation coefficient. Therefore the purpose of this study is to develope the horizontal consolidation cell for a horizaontal consolidation coefficient. Various size of tests have been peroformed to investigate the effect of scale effect. From the test results, it has turned out that this horizontal consolidation cell has a good function for a horizontal consolidation coefficient.

  • The technology trend of Flat Panel Display (FPD) equipments have been demanded that there are compact and multi-function. Therefore, nano/micro scale patterned on polymeric materials of Back Light Unit (BLU) in Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that has been investigated. This paper describes a series of Horizontal Type Micro Tensile Tester that were carried out to investigate the load strain distance performance of typical polymeric material sheets. The polymeric materials film that micro size shaped specimens for tensile test are used by Cold-Isostatic-Press (CIP). Test equipment is Horizontal type Micro Tensile Tester that is presented to measure the micro scale mechanical property of thin film for FPD. This paper presents which easy testing tools measure for micro patterned on polyethylene (PET) specimens.

수동형 감요수조 설계를 위한 벤치테스터 개발 (Development of Bench Tester for Designing the Passive Anti-Rolling Tanks)

  • It is important to use bench test results in the design process of anti-rolling tanks. Traditional bench tester is usually designed to perform only roll motions about a fixed axis and relatively small so that the viscous effects may not be neglected. Novel bench tester which could adjust the motion center to realize the coupled motion of sway and roll has been devised and manufactured therefore, large scaled bench tester could be utilized for designing the passive anti-rolling tanks. The time history of the reference signal from the rotation sensor of the bench tester have been recorded and processed to determine the phase angle to derive the Response Amplitude Operator(RAO) of the stabilized ship. The breadth of ART tank model should be large up to 2 m to diminish viscous scale effect and the vertical position of the tank can be varied with the ship's center of motion. The periods and the amplitude of roll motion can be varied from 1.5 sec to 5 sec and up to ±20°, respectively. The components of the tester was expressed in three dimensional digital mockup (DMU) and assembled together in the CAD space. The final configuration of the bench tester has been determined by confirming the smooth operation of the moving parts without interference through the animation in CAD space. New analytic logic are introduced for the determination of hydrodynamic moment and phase difference due to fluid motion in ART and verified through the test. The developed bench tester is believed to be effective and accurate for the verification of stabilization effect of ART taking into the consideration of the sway effect in the design stage.

창고 모델 실물화재 특성에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Warehouse Mock-up Fire Test)

  • 본 연구에서는 창고 화재 사고의 위험성을 파악하기 위해서 중규모 실물 화재 실험 장비인 룸코너 시험기(Room Corner Tester)를 통해 구축된 단위 구성품의 화재 특성 DB를 바탕으로 화재에 취약할 것으로 판단되는 의류 창고를 실험 모델로 구성하여 실물 화재실험 장비인 라지 스케일 칼로리미터(Large Scale Calorimeter)에서 실물 화재실험을 실시하였다. 창고 모델의($3m{\times}3m{\times}2.4m$) 벽체는 불연등급의 그라스울과 일반 스티로폼 샌드위치 패널로 구성하였다. 실험결과 최대 열방출률은 그라스울 샌드위치 패널 창고모델에서 5MW, 스티로폼 샌드위치 패널 창고모델에서 11MW를 나타내었다.

  • In a micro-unit of electronic-machine, vibration can be excited by a small impact, and this vibration acts as a fatigue load. To measure the vibration effect on the micro unit, a micro dynamic tester is needed to test a micro specimen. In this paper, it has confirmed a movement of the PZT(piezo actuator) to use a sine signal. And, it has confirmed a fracture of specimens by using a tension-tension input signal in PZT. A metal-material property in the micro scale has been tested to compare with the macro scale. A fatigue test has been conducted by using PZT actuator to give a bending-tension effect.

비소음 측정을 이용한 저소음 축류홴 설계 (Design of Low Noise Axial Flow Fan Using Specific Sound Presssure Level)

  • Experimental investigation was conducted to study the effects of pitch angle maximum camber on the performance and noise of an axial-flow fan used in outdoor-unit of air -conditioner. For this study the axial-flow fan whose pitch angle can be varied was made and the Specific sound Pressure Level and other coefficients were measured using the anechoic fan tester. It is found that pitch angle affects more severly than the maximum camber on the fan performance. On the while the maximum camber affects much on the specific sound power level. Present results show that it is important to choose the optimum pitch angle and maximum camber to design the high-performance and low-noise axial-flow fan and specific noise measured in the anechoic fan tester can be sued effectively for the design of low-noise fan.

  • 본 논문에서는 LCD 구동 모들 PCB의 기능 검사를 위한 자동 검사시스템인 EVT(Emulated Vision Tester)를 제안하고 구현하였다. 기존의 대표적인 자동검사 방법으로는 전기적 검사나 영상기반 검사방식이 있으나 전기적 검사만으로는 Timing이 주요한 변수가 되는 LED 장비에서는 검출할 수 없는 구동불량이 존재하며 영상기반 검사는 영상획득에 일관성이 결여되거나 Gray Scale의 구분이 불명확하며 검출결과의 재현성이 떨어진다. EVT 시스템은 Pattern Generator에서 인가된 입력 패턴 신호라 구동모듈을 통한 후 출력되는 디지털 신호를 직접 비교하여 패턴을 검사하고 아날로그 신호 (전압, 저항, 파형)의 이상 여부도 신속 정확하게 검사할 수 있는 H/W적인 방법이다. 높은 검출 신뢰도와 빠른 처리 속도 뿐만 아니라 간결한 시스템 구성으로 원가절감 실현 등 많은 장점을 가진다.

  • In this paper, we proposed mobile LCD module test device on embedded based, when operating the existing LCD, divide flicker clearly in full frame, and configuration so as to support between other CPU interface, MDDI, SPI, 24Bit RGB interface, etc. that is based on a high-speed CPU. In addition, when demand to test about each pixel of LCD, it is possible to change IP design of H/W, FPGA, but proposed system is application possible without other design changing. Proposed system is made smaller and equipped with battery, so secure with mobility for effective test the LCD/OLED module and it is able to test the pattern by the client program, for example exiting picture, mpeg, simple pattern test and test per pixel, scale, rotation, Odd/Even pixel per video, etc. From now on, if integrating with independent test system and it is configured that is able to mutual communication and test, it is expected to reduce consumption of human resources and improve productivity for LCD module test.

  • 초고속열차 추진용 실모델 선형동기전동기(Linear Synchronous Motor, LSM)의 고속운전시험을 위해서는 매우 긴 노선이 필요하고, 이로 인해 막대한 비용이 요구되며, 개발 도중 시행오차가 발생할 경우 경제적 손실이 크게 발생할 우려가 있다. 따라서 저 비용의 축소모델을 이용한 LSM 설계 기술의 타당성 검증 연구가 개발 초기 단계에 이루어져야 한다. 회전형 구조를 갖는 LSM 축소모델을 적용한 성능시험기를 통하여 LSM의 지상전기자 권선의 최적방식 도출 및 기기적 특성 파악이 가능하며, 제어시스템의 선행연구 수행에 활용이 가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 600km/h급 초고속열차 추진용 LSM의 요구사양에 부합하는 회전형 시험기의 설계 모델을 도출하고, 전자계 해석 및 기구적 강성 해석을 통하여 1500rpm 이상의 고속 회전 조건에서의 최적 모델을 도출하였다.
