  • This paper deal with the efficiency evaluations in a Synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM) Vs. PMASynRM using a coupled transient finite element method(FEM) and preisach modeling, which is presented to analyze the characteristics under the effect of saturation and hysteresis loss. The focus of this paper is the efficiency evaluation relative to hysteresis loss, copper loss, etc. on the basis of load condition in a SynRM and PMASynRM. Computer simulation and experiment at result for the efficiency using dynamometer shoe the propriety of the proposed method.

굴패각에 의한 인 처리가 인공습지의 수명에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Phosphorus Removal by Oyster Shell on Longevity of Constructed Wetlands)

  • 본 연구는 하수처리를 위한 VF-HF 조합형 인공습지에서 굴패각이 인공습지 수명에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해, 6년간 인공습지에서 총인의 농도 변화를 장기간 모니터링 한 후 이를 토대로 굴패각이 인공습지의 수명 연장에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 평가하였다. 왕사만 사용한 system A에서 인이 실제 포화에 도달하는 시간은 최대 인 흡착능력에 기반한 이론적 포화치에 비해 4배 이상 긴 것으로 평가되었으며, 특히 인의 포화패턴은 운영 초기에는 일정농도 수준으로 유지되다가 흡착에서 파과점과 같은 지점을 통과하면서 서서히 포화가 진행되어가면서 최종적으로 포화에 도달하였다. 굴패각과 왕사를 혼합한 여재를 사용한 system B에서도 이론적 포화예상시간을 초과하여 안정적으로 인이 처리됨을 확인하였고, 굴패각의 첨가로 system A에 비해 인의 포화시기가 연장됨을 확인하였다. 이상의 결과를 미루어 볼 때 실제 인공습지 여재에 굴패각을 혼합하면 여재의 인 흡착량을 증가시켜 이론적인 포화치보다 인의 포화시기를 더 늘릴 수 있으며, 최종적으로 인공습지의 수명을 연장 시킬 수 있다고 판단된다. 또한 굴패각을 사용하는 것은 굴 양식장에서 발생하는 부산물인 굴패각을 재활용하는 것으로서 폐기물의 재활용 측면에서 환경오염을 줄이기 위한 방안으로도 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Color image is largely corrupted by various ambient illumination. However, human perceives always white color as white under any illumination because of a characteristic of human vision, called color constancy. In the conventional algorithm which applied the constancy effect, after the RGB color space is transformed to the IHS(Intensity, Hue, and Saturation) color space, then the hue is preserved and the intensity or the saturation is properly enhanced. Then the enhanced IHS color is reversely transformed to the RGB color space. In this process, the color distortion is included due to the color gamut error. But in the proposed algorithm, there is not transformation. In that, the RGB color is considered as 3 dimensional color vector and we assume that white color is the natural daylight. As the color vector of the illumination can be calculated as the average vector of R, G, and B image, we can achieve the constancy effect by simply rotating the illumination vector to the white color vector. The simulation results show the efficiency of the vector rotating process for color image enhancement.

  • In order to estimate the efficiency of an evaporative heat exchanger having mini channel, the equations to calculate heat exchanger properties, those are air temperatures and water temperatures etc, are derived from the governing equations based on the Navier-Stokes equation, even though there are several assumptions to make problem simplify. There are three heat transfer zones at the mini channel heat exchanger depending on the water condition. So, there are three governing equations and solutions to calculate the properties. As a results of this study, the equations to calculate a saturation point and a dry point are derived to evaluate an evaporative heat exchanger having micro channel. It is supposed to predict the performance and evaluate a mini channel heat exchanger.

  • 포화 경로 선정 알고리즘은 주로 전술적 응용 및 패킷 라디오 망에 유용한 경로 선정 알고리즘으로 알려져 있는데, 이유는 통화로 개설 시간이 짧고 경로 선정 테이블을 갖고 있지 않기 때문이다. 통신망 효율 면에서는 통제 메시지의 오버 해드로 인해 약점이 있기도 하다. 본 논문에서는 4개의 링크로 구성된 격자형 전술 회선 교환망에 두개의 우선 순위 음성 트래픽을 갖는 망을 고려하였다. 최소 1차 미분 길이를 갖는 경로를 이용하여 통화로 개설 시간 및 알고리즘 처리 부하를 증가 시키지 않으면서 회선망의 차단 확률을 향상 시켰다.

  • In this paper, we proposed that the problem of controlling induction motor with magnetic saturation, is studied from an input-output feedback linearization with adaptive algorithm. is considered. An adaptive input-output feedback linearizing controller is considered under the assumption of known motor parameters and unknown load torque. In order to achieve the speed regulation with the consideration of improving power efficiency, rotor angular speed and flux amplitude tracking objectives are formulated. Simulation results are provided for illustration.

  • Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) has a simple structure with high efficient and without rotor conductor loss. Therefore, it is better than induction motor for electric vehicle (EV) on aspect of efficiency. SynRM usually operates on the constant torque region using maximum torque per ampere (MTPA)control which is adopted due to rotor structure limitation. Thus, the accurate current angle is crucial for motor control. However, finite element analysis (FEA) program is not sufficient exactly to regard how the iron loss and magnetic saturation influences on the current angle. Consequently, this paper proposed a method to calculate the current angle with consideration of iron loss.

  • This paper deals with the compensation method of AMD stroke by adopting variable gain feedback control strategy. The gains, generally known to be constant, are designed to have variable values according to the structural responses and the AMD stroke. This strategy has the advantage of compensating AMD stroke under any kind of loadings, on the other hand the conventional strategies work only under the specific loading. The strategy shows that the AMD stroke is compensated to prevent the stroke saturation and the control force is found not affected by the compensating operation while the control force is reduced and the control efficiency is decreased during the compensating operation in the conventional strategies.

  • The torque of SRM depends on phase current and the derivative of inductance. But the inductance of SRM is nonlinearly changed according to rotor position angle and phase current because of saturation in magnetic circuit. Therefore this has a concern in torque ripple and speed variation, and it is difficult to control the desired torque The torque of SRM depends on phase current and the derivative of inductance. This paper proposes an optimization control scheme by adjusting both the turn-on and turn-off angle according to high efficiency points which are simulated by GA-Neural Network, which is used to simulate the reasonable switching angle which is nonlinearly varied with rotor speed and load.

  • An inverter-driven induction motor is used as the traction motor for a high speed drive system that required safety, reliabillity, performance, compact size owing to the space and weight alloted for attaching to train, etc. particularly it is possible to happen the saturation effects of flux density at constant voltage-frequency region and then increase very higher than the at lowed capacity of no-load current and temperature in any case. therefore the optimum design of core, optimum voltage-frequency ratio, adoption of high grade magnetic core have been developed and researched for preventing these problems. this paper show the saturation effects of traction rotor by measuring the induced voltage of search coil at stator teeth and presents optimum voltage-frequency ratio as well as optimum core design through the comparison with efficiency, power factor, load current and no-load current for korea high speed train.
