햄버거 체인점의 관리실태와 종업원 직무만족과의 관계 (Relationship Between Management Practices of Hamburger Chain Restaurants and Job Satisfaction of Restaurant Employees)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the management practices and to measure the degree of job satisfaction of employees of hamburger chain restaurants in Seoul. Management practices were evaluated in terms of service, quality, cleanliness and shift management in 30 hamburger restaurants of 3 domestic and 3 foreign chain brands. Employee job satisfaction was measured by using questionnaires of Job Descriptive Index. 200 employees from the same 30 restaurants were participated in the survey. Results were analyzed by using SAS program in terms of t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation. The results are as follows: 1. The factor of quality got the highest score and cleanliness the second, service the third, and shift management got the lowest score in the evaluation of management practiecs of hamburger chain restaurant. The foreign brands showed significantly higher scores than the domestic ones in every measured factors. 2. The factor of coworkers got the highest score and then supervision, the work-itself, promotion and pay got the next highest scores in descending order in measured Job satisfaction. The foreign brands showed significantly higher scores than domestic ones in JDI. 3. The foodservice employees rated work-itself was considered by employees the most important job satisfaction factor, and the next important factor was pay and then coworkers, supervision, and promotion. 4. The significant positive relationship between management practice factor of shift management and all the factors of job satisfaction except the factor of pay were found.

간호사의 팔로워십과 조직몰입, 직무만족, 이직의도 및 고객지향성간의 관계 (Relationship of Followership to Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction, Turnover Intention, and Customer Orientation in Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship among followership, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, turnover intention, and customer orientation in hospital nurses. Methods: The participants in this study were 210 staff nurses in one university hospital. Data were analyzed using frequency, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Followership had positive correlations with organizational commitment (r=.46, p<.001), job satisfaction (r=.41, p<.001), customer orientation (r=.47, p<.001). Followership had negative correlation with turnover intention (r=-.23, p<.001). The factor of followership influencing organizational commitment was active engagement, and this factor accounted for 23.3% of explanatory power. The factor of followership influencing job satisfaction was active engagement (F=45.00, p<.001), and this factor accounted for 17.8% of explanatory power. The factor of followership influencing turnover intention was active engagement (F=19.69, p<.001), and this factor accounted for 17.0% of explanatory power. The factors of followership influencing customer orientation were active engagement (F=51.38, p=.004) and independent, critical thinking (F=24.55, p=.011), and these factors accounted for 22.1% of explanatory power. Conclusion: Findings indicate a need to develop followership to promote organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and customer orientation and to decrease turnover intention in nurses.

라인댄스 참여 중·노년 여성의 여가만족과 자아존중감 및 삶의 질 관계 (Relation between Leisure Satisfaction of Line Dance Participating Middle-Aged and Old Women and Self-Respect, Quality of Life)

  • 이 연구는 라인댄스에 참여하고 있는 중 노년 여성들의 여가만족이 자아존중감 및 삶의 질에 어떤 영향을 미치고 있는가를 분석하고, 이들의 인과관계 규명을 통해 중 노년 여성들의 여가만족을 위한 라인댄스 참여 필요성을 확인하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 3개월 이상 라인댄스에 참여한 40세 이상의 여성을 모집단으로 하였으며, 유의표집방법을 통해 총 229명으로부터 설문지를 받아 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 라인댄스 참여특성에 따른 여가만족의 차이에서 2시간 참여 시 여가만족이 높았다. 둘째, 라인댄스 참여 중 노년 여성의 여가만족 중 건강요인은 자아존중감에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 여가만족 중 건강요인은 삶의 질의 하위변인인 일상생활만족, 심리적만족, 주위환경만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 여가만족의 건강요인이 자아존중감과 삶의 질에 직접적 영향을 미치며, 매개변인인 자아존중감도 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 여가만족, 자아존중감, 삶의 질 간에는 인과적 관계가 성립함을 의미한다. 즉, 중 노년 여성들이 라인댄스에 참여함으로써 느끼는 여가만족은 삶의 질에 직접적 영향을 주고, 여가만족으로 인한 자아존중감 상승을 통해서도 삶의 질을 더욱 높여준다고 할 수 있다.

여성의 성만족 측정을 위한 도구개발 (Development of Sexual Satisfaction Measurement Tool)

  • This study was conducted to develop a sexual satisfaction tool for married women in Korea. The data was collected from July 19 to Aug 18, 1997 by means of questionnaires developed by researchers. The subject were 417 married women living in Seoul and Pusan. The process of this study was as follows : 1) The concept of sexual satisfaction was defined. 2) A conceptual framework was identified based on the extensive review of relevant literature and interviews with married women. 3) The preliminary question items containing the attributes and elements of the concept of sexual satisfaction were listed. 4) The preliminary items were revised after a pilot study. 5) The Index of Content Validity(CVI) was calculated from the content specialists' rating. 6) The reliability and validity of the sexual satisfaction measurement tool were tested. As a result of the item and factor analysis, 17 out of 30 items were found to be valid, consequently could be used to measure sexual satisfaction for married women. These final 17 items were divided into two factors. These factors were labeled as "situation factor" (10 items) and "response factor"(7 items) according to the attributes of the clustered items. The reliability of the final 17 items was .9118. Further research is needed to confirm the reliability and validity of the tool by applying it to a group of healthy married women and to a group of married women having health-related problem.

외식기업 혼잡 만족 측정 도구 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing Crowding Measurement Tools for Foodservice Corporations)

  • This study is to develop a viable measurement tool of crowdedness in restaurants. First, to measure customer’s awareness of crowdedness related to each different environmental factor in a restaurant, 49 factors of crowdedness awareness were selected based on the previous studies and then properties of each factor affecting customer’s satisfaction for crowdedness were analyzed. To analyze effects of each factor upon the satisfaction rate, a Multiple Regression Analysis was conducted with the crowdedness awareness as an independent variable and satisfaction of crowdedness as a dependent variable. The results showed that when an analysis of the environmental factors in the crowdedness awareness was conducted in an effort to develop a measurement tool of crowdedness awareness in restaurants, that would be fit for the domestic food service market, based upon 49 factors of restaurant environment. Focusing on expectation and satisfaction rate, it was found that rating the satisfaction level would be a much more effective tool to measure crowdedness awareness because satisfaction rate appeared to be more closely related to the awareness than the results obtained from the Multiple Regression Analysis with a difference between expectation and satisfaction scores as an independent variable.

농촌 공정관광의 품질과 만족이 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (Structural Relationships between Quality, Satisfaction, and Behavioral Intentions in Rural Responsible Tourism: Moderating Effects of Age)

  • This study examines the structural relationships between service quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions in responsible tourism. In particular, the study focuses on moderating effects of age. Data were collected from 471 tourists from seven responsible tourism agencies. SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for frequency, reliability, exploratory factor, confirmatory factor, and path analyses. The results of a exploratory factor analysis yield two dimensions of service quality (functional quality and technical quality). The results of structural equation modeling indicate that functional quality and technical quality had positive effects on satisfaction, which in turn had a positive effect on behavioral intentions. In addition, age moderated the relationships between service quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions such that functional quality had a positive effect on satisfaction in the group of tourists in their twenties and thirties and that functional quality and technical quality were important factors for tourists in their forties. The results are expected to help responsible tourism communities better manage service quality to increase tourist satisfaction.

유료실버타운 급식서비스의 만족과 신뢰에 관한 연구 (A Study on Billed Silvertown Residents' Satisfaction and Trust with Foodservice)

  • This study focused on the attribution factors affecting billed Silvertown residents' satisfaction and trust in relation to foodservice. Residents living in 'N' charged Silvertown were randomly selected for the study. Among them, 27 did not complete the survey, and a total of 143 questionnaires were analyzed. Data analyses were carried out using the frequency, factor analysis, cross tabs, and regression procedures of the SPSS 12.0 package. The results were as follows. First, for prospective Silvertown residents, among all the service offered, meals and medical services were of primary importance. Second, for Silertown foodservice, menu variety and taste were the most important aspects. Third, in the factor analysis for effects of foodservice on satisfaction and trust, the factor were restaurant facilities, food taste and quality, and restaurant operations. Fourth, in the relationship between the restaurant operation and residents' satisfaction levels, restaurant equipment, food taste and quality, and the resident's level of trust were significant. Finally, foodservice satisfaction and trust significantly affected residents' satisfaction with living in Silvertown.

공공도서관 직원의 직무만족과 도서관 서비스 품질과의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Service Quality and Librarian's Job Satisfaction in Public Libraries)

  • 도서관의 성과를 이용자에게 제공하는 서비스의 품질 강화라고 할 때, 이에 영향을 미치는 요소로서 도서관 내부인적자원의 능력이 검토되어야 한다. 본 연구는 공공도서관 직원의 직무만족과 이용자가 인식하는 서비스 품질간의 관계를 밝히기 위해 서울 인천 경기 지역 10개의 공공도서관을 대상으로 직원의 직무만족도와 $LibQUAL+^{TM}$모형을 적용한 도서관서비스 품질을 조사하였다. 그 결과 직무만족 중 직무자체 요인과 조직요인의 만족도가 높을수록 서비스 품질이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 도서관 고객 만족도 향상을 위해 직원의 직무만족에 대한 제고가 필요한 것으로 판단되며, 이에 따른 실무적 함의를 논의하였다.

한국 성인의 성만족 측정도구 개발 (Development of a Korean Sexual Satisfaction Scale)

  • Purpose; The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument to measure sexual satisfaction in Korean adults. Method: Development of items for the instrument was done by a collecting, reorganizing, reducing and selecting process based on the literature. A total of 19 items were selected in this process. For evaluation of the appropriateness of the 19 items, questionnaires were given to an expert group consisting of 18 professionals (7 men and 11 women). Eighteen items having a response of 70% in 'very good' item or 'good' item were included as items for the instrument. With these 18 items, a 5 point Likert scale was developed, and reliability and validity tests of the scale were done. The subjects for the test were 1,127 Korean adults living in 11 areas in Korea, Data were collected from Dec. 1, 2000 to Feb. 28, 2001 and analyzed with SPSS/PC+ 10.0 program. Item analysis and factor analysis were used to assess the reliability and validity of the scale. Chronbach alpha and corrected item-total correlation were obtained to verify internal consistency, and principal component analysis with the varimax rotation was used to identify structure validity of the developed tool. Result: Reliability of the scale was .9503 and corrected item-total correlations of the items were distributed from .5208 to 7899. As a result of the factor analysis, the items were categorized into three factors. The cumulative variance of the three factors was 67.1%, and all of the variances of the factors were above 5%. Because factor 1 (8 items) indicated a special feeling of psychological satisfaction with sexual activity, it was named 'psychological factor'. Factor 2 (8 items) indicated a feeling of satisfaction in the interaction with sexual partner through communication and variation, therefore it was named 'interactional factor'. Factor 3 (2 items) was about the frequency and duration of sexual intercourse and indicated physical dimensions of satisfaction, so it was named 'physical factor'. The average score for sexual satisfaction of the 1,127 subjects was 65.32 (${\pm}12.71$), and histogram of the score showed a normal distribution with skewness - .425. Conclusion: Finally, a Korean Sexual Satisfaction Scale(KSSS) was accepted as a 5 point Likert scale with 18 items after the statistical test for reliability and validity. In conclusion, KSSS is a useful instrument which is valid and reliable can be used to understand the sexuality of Korean adults.

유도체육관 운영 및 이용에 영향을 미치는 입지와 서비스 요인 분석 (The Analysis on Location and Service Factors Affecting the Management and Use of Judo Gym)

  • 본 연구는 유도체육관 운영 및 이용에 영향을 미치는 입지와 서비스 요인을 분석하는데 목적이 있으며, 원활한 유도체육관 운영을 위하여 수련생의 만족에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인에 대해 가이드(guide)가 될 수 있는 실증적 자료를 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 이를 위해 총 350부의 설문지를 배포하여 불성실하게 응답된 11부를 제외하고 총 339부를 유효표본으로 사용하였다. 분석을 위해 IBM SPSS 21을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석을 통한 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선 유도체육관 운영 및 이용에 영향을 미치는 입지와 서비스 요인이 수련생의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해서 운영, 지도자, 커뮤니케이션, 수련생가치, 시설, 입지 요인 순으로 모두 수련생 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하위요인별로 살펴보면, 첫째, 운영 요인에서 상해보험 가입 여부, 체육관 자유로운 이용, 운동 프로그램 운영 요인 순으로 수련생 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 지도자 요인에서는 지도자 신뢰도 요인이 영향을 미쳤고, 셋째 커뮤니케이션 요인에서는 회원 간 의사소통 요인이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 넷째, 수련생가치 요인에서는 건전한 여가활동과 운동수행능력 향상 요인 순으로 영향을 미쳤고, 다섯째, 시설 요인에서는 부대시설 수준과 주요시설 수준 요인 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 여섯째, 입지 요인에서는 체육관의 가시성 여부 요인만이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 유도체육관 입지 형태(역세권, 주거지역, 상업지역)에 따른 체육관 특성의 차이에 대해서는 우선 역세권에 위치한 체육관은 수련생가치, 입지, 커뮤니케이션, 시설이 수련생 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 주거지역에 위치한 체육관은 운영, 수련생가치, 커뮤니케이션, 시설이 수련생 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 상업지역에 위치한 체육관은 운영, 입지, 커뮤니케이션, 시설이 수련생 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
